I had to laugh when Riki called his father a "man whore" and his little rant about his and Iason's father's. That was hilarious. I also can't wait for what happens at Omaki's party. That will be both interersting and hilarious.  When I read the part with Raimon was yelling at Kai throught the fog and said "...I’m not going to lose you once again you old geezer, so you better stay put or I’ll have to put you over my knee..." I had to snicker at that and thought 'hadn't Iason actually done something similar to Riki on several occassions'.  And Kai's reasoning the ghosts don't make threats turned my snickers in to a full blown laugh.
I love this story and can not wait for more (especially Omaki's party). Please continue!!

On: Chapter 1 Old Friends

First let me thank you for the update and apologize for the tardy review. Also thanks for the long but exceptionally well written chapter. In thanks I give to you the following: 1-box king sized snickers ice cream bars, 1-box baby ruth's, a dozen grams of white chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and peanut butter cookies, and a life time supply of Butter Pecan Custard (courtesy of the best custard shop in all of WI, Kopps[also available online and worth ever penny]).

Okay now a review.

Lord Bastard is a fitting name for the 'Bastard' Bastian. I honestly think Raimen will get frisky with anything pretty with a place to put 'it'. The difference in the parenting from Kai and Raimen is defined very well in this chapter by Kai staying close to his son when in their 'minds eye' and Raimen being more concerned with getting into Jake's pants. Riki's manipulation of his father is encouraging. Yes their fathers can get aroused in 'any' situation. The brief moment of a serious Omaki was rather scary. Omaki's logs were a little heart rending but I loved the glimpse into the past and hope to read more in the (hopefully near) future.

Yay! He’s one of the ancients after all!! I can’t wait to see what’ll Yousi do in the space ship, must be something fun

Forgive me if I'm overstepping boundaries, but when I read a story I get involved with, I perhaps get carried away in a one sided discussion and question the characters motives, not trying to influence the authors directions. ..

So to begin. . .
There is love and LOVE. . . .Riki and Iason LOVE. They only have eyes for each other and if they were to have relationships with others (forgetting the mind's eye incident with Omaki) on a regular basis, it would just feel 'wrong' for a better word.

Then there is love. . .where most people past and present in Amoi seem to have fleeting feelings for the moment and bed hop happily with no quarms. Lord Kai and Raimen LOVE each other, but accept their natures to explore and that seems to work for them. They both LOVE their wives and interstingly enough don't take other women feeling that would be unfaithful to them and the wives accept this happily.

So what's my problem. . . Raoul and Yui. . . Yui is not of the past, he only has one memory/life so to speak and he is told he has to learn to 'share' Raoul's love with the 'past'
love from a previous life.

Now he is willing to do this, but Lord Kai for all his humour and light heartedness appears to be the most damaged of all the old timers. In the past it appears that at the end he only had Raoul and that Raoul never left his side until he himself died in Kai's arms.

So when Raoul gets his memories back that is going to be a pretty big reconcile to deal with in the present. And even though he LOVES Ju now, once those memories come into play, I don't think Kai is going to want to 'share' Raoul because of what went on when all he had left was Raoul. And I think Raoul's past feelings will get in the way of the present because of how damaged Kai is even now.

Yui won't have a leg to stand on here, because Kai is so 'powerful' in his personality and in his comments to Raoul is already playing on their past ties. . . I like Yui, and I hope he won't get lost in all of this or that he leaves Raoul, because he feels that would be the best thing he could do.

So yes, I am totally enjoying this story and lookforward to seeing an update soon. . .

Oh my Gods!!! Where to begin? Ok Argent and Omi are cute together ans Omi's wickedness is enduring.(millennia aparently). Are the maidens hidden in the Path of the Ancients? Will Yousi be able to recover his memories of the past(all of it) with Iason and Riki's combined help?

Then there is Raimen and Kai... and then Raoul and Yui... To be in someone else's rooms and do THAT and then not stop once you've been found by the owners of said rooms, continue and have them join in... I am at a loss for words as to how absolutely brilliant that was.

Meanwhile...

Iason and Riki were shorting out circuitry and causing to lights to explode in their 'enjoyment' of each other. And Omaki's plan to record them in action backfiring was hilarious. It was cute how he and Argent tried to escape the fire sprinklers only to end up drenched. I can actually imagine Raoul's eyes twitching in annoyance. I was laughing for about ten minutes after I read what Riki said into Omaki and Argent's minds.

I'm glad to see Yui coming to terms with himself concerning Raoul. I think Raoul truly loves and adores Yui and I doubt that will change, ever. I'm also glad to see Kai slowly warming (though still no where near thawed) to Elder Petros.

I can't wait to find out what Riki and Iason find when they see Martin and Jake and I hope they rescue them in time.

Loved the chappie, but why the cliffie!?!?*pouts* Will at least I know that Martin and Jake ARE indeed going to be saved most likely in the next chap. so I will forgive you this time.*gives pointed look* Can't wait to see the next chapter, until then BYE!!*smiles*
