Nice chapter overall, I particularly liked the last part when Kallen broke "the news" to Lelouch, their farewell comments, and the theme you've used with silence.

That said I do have a few critiques. First, Suzaku won't be able to hold back on Kallen. I mean this literally. When he goes "Live On" mode he is forced to fight at 110% and kill anything in his way or be killed by it. In truth, Lelouch organized the battle in the series for the express purpose of trying to make sure Suzaku never had to face Kallen (keeping them on opposite sides of the field, etc.), their final confrontation was actually never supposed to happen from Lelouch's strategic standpoint. For the writers...yes, it was inevitable. If you are having problems with the epilogue, then perhaps you could mention that Lelouch took steps to reorganize the battle setup this way after learning of his impending fatherhood.

Second, Kallen's response "Then I don’t love you anymore," leaves a really really bad taste in my mouth, as it comes across as b**chy, and just too abrupt. I'd suggest something to the effect of her asking just what is so important, but Lelouch has to stay secretive, as he's convinced she'd stop it or expose his martyr plan to others. Kallen can then take this as him desiring power, not trully being open with her, or whatever would best lead back into the rest of the story. Her "Then the man I love is dead afterall," line however, works perfectly for tone, her understanding of events, and progress in the conversation.

Lastly, accepting a Code is the only way to lose one's Geass, short of Lelouch having his eyes removed.

As for their daughter's appearance, I've mentioned that I'd hope she has her mother's hair color, and I'd like to add the idea of having her mothers spikey hairstyle as well. I was recalling the picture in Kallen's room with her, Naoto, and her mother when Kallen looked to be 8 and she just looked adorable.

I love this story! It's awesome, and I love the pairing. Always have. And by the way, that little trick you pulled with the phrase “Sore wa himitsu desu” was really rather clever. Kudos to you.

Well, again, I have to say I'm flattered. Getting a chapter dedicated to you is certainly an ego boost. Now, on to the chapter. I don't know, it was very well written, but I'd think it would have gone a bit differently since he and Kallen were so close before the "betrayal" wouldn't you? That's really all I have to say. But, on another note, my input on the daughter is she HAS to have Lelouch's hair and eyes. If it was a boy I'd go with Kallen's genetics, but as we all know it was almost like Lelouch was made as a female character in the first place. (I mean really, those guys are all freaking skinny, unnaturally so.) She'd look much more attractive with her father's traits than her mother's. Man, I can see her grin now...freaky.

Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Fantastic character play, IMO. In the later chapters, I really think this truly captures the conflict within the characters. I wish it didn't have to end, but the storyline is close to the finale. Fantastic all around! Keep up the writing as much as possible!

I love your story, I hope that Leluch still alive and that Kallen join Lelouch.
I think that Lelouch should stoped the requiem if he learns that he is the father.

I vote female for the gender of their child, if for no other reason than Lelouch is completely whipped by all the girls in his life. If you intend to give the child Lelouch's eyes, then I'd suggest Kallen's hair color, given that it probably won't look Japanese since it would be 3/4 Britannian.

In regards to the opening of chapter 10. Kallen should not be 'bouncing' or anything at this point in the story. She knows that Nunally was to Lelouch what Naoto was to her, so she should be rushing to him in a semi-panicked concern for his sanity, not giddyness to see him again.

That being said, it was a good chapter, and I totally agree with your notes on crying things out. If only someone had gotten the chance to say this to Lelouch in canon...

A bit on the short side, which to be perfectly honest is a bit annoying after the wait for this chapter to come out. Seriously, this section needs a lot more M/F, especially ones as well-written as yours. Still, you managed to cram a lot of emotion and a rather nice plot-device into the small amount of space, so I commend you on that. I can't say I saw the pregnancy coming, but it wasn't really that much of a surprise either. It fit in really well.

Well, now I'm off to go brood about having to wait for the next chapter of this artfully crafted work to come out.

Awesome story so far. Lelouch/Kallen have to be my favorite het pairing of the series. I love how Lulu dubbed her his knight and got Kallen's mother out of jail for her. Can't wait for more - hope we can see scenes of the Chinese Federation pre-wedding scenes.
