Hello, readers and reviewers. I want to thank you all for the regular contact; I was nervous about some of the stuff I put up.
Apparently most of you enjoyed Seras' animal form. I thought it fitting, too. Maybe she'll learn some grace now? Lol.
I couldn't see Integra taking being treated like a commoner very well, so that went off okay.
The vampires are getting closer to intimacy, yes. Some of you may be irritated with my lack of taking them 'all the way', but I feel this is going at a pace suitable for a virgin draculina and an emotional virgin like Alucard.
And no, I'm not good with Romanian at all, and thank you, Shadow, for the correction. I use three different free translators to try and hammer out something, and no matter how many times I cross-reference, it comes out like garbage.
Angel Reaper, you're usually dead-on with where I'm taking these characters, but don't give up on Vlad yet. Of all that he is, I believe 'adaptable' is the key definition.
A lot of you might think I'm making Anderson too soft, but this IS an alternate reality. This isn't about being utterly true to the current work, and thank god, because I couldn't do it. The Midians are evolving...
Lady Goddess Sephiroth, that was probably the most detailed review I've gotten yet. And, it was the equivalent of a warm fuzzy hug. Thanks for taking the time to pound all that out. I cherish it.
I love all my reviews and readers, though. I'll hopefully get a chapter up today. Thank you, everyone.

Gahhh, I hate being out all day, wasn't able to review 52 at all...
Anyway, I'll review that later, on to 53
Bit of a strange chapter, Anderson hints at something that I'm not to keen on following, the idea of Alucard forcing Seras to act as she is. While it may seem that way to the Paladin, Alucard has always been about choice, and I don't believe he'd take it away just for his own amusement, it doesn't fit him at all.
Also, Alucard shows us some of the remorse and psudo-guilt he feels over his actions towards Seras, I just hope he doesn't go off into the cliche "I'm too dark for her, she should belong in the light" drivel we see from so much horrible mockeries of "vampire fiction"
Always wanting and loving each new chapter, GV!

Hooray, the honeymoon has started! I bet that Alucard, Seras, and Anderson will get into a lot of trouble while Integra and Walter are preoccupied... ^^
Now onto the latest chapter. I like that Seras's animal form is a lioness; it compliments the fact that she's a strong hunter. How interesting and sort of sneaky that she fully understood Anderson and Alucard's conversation, although she's too feline at the moment to comprehend the issues. I hope Anderson wasn't serious about challenging Alucard for Seras; the idea of him with her makes me queasy...
It's quite a revelation that Seras's heart stopped beating because her free will died, but I suppose it makes sense. I'm hoping that her heart will start beating again even more; I'd hate for her to become like those other brides...
I would like to draw fanart for this story in my limited free time; the image of lioness Seras being petted by Alucard is too good to resist. Keep updating!

Aweee, he does care...
Every chapter leaves me with a thirst for more, and I will be very sad, I think, when this is finally over. However, the great thing about a good story is that one can read it over and over again, any time they feel like indulging.
As usual, your style is superb, and I thoroughly enjoyed Seras' animal form. I think a feline suits her phenomenally. I anxious to see how she reacts when she comes back to herself.

I'd read the first 42 chapters so many times, waiting for the continuation, never imagining that it could possibly be any better than that - but oh how wrong I was!! I love the new dimension that's been opened through all the interactions with Alexander - what great character development that has given Seras ^_^ And of course, the increasingly steamy tension between our two favorite vampires, I adored the idea that they were giving off such strong sexual vibes that everyone on the plane was affected too, that was absolutely delightful!! Ah, and she confessed - though I don't think Alucard found it to be anything other than the usual Master/Servant love he's seen before. Oh when that comes out, it's either going to get really violent or really hot... or maybe both ;) So glad to see you're continuing!

I was up from 8 last night to 3 this morning reading your fic. Be proud, for never have I dedicated so much time to a fanfiction. It may sound cocky and arrogant for me to say, but I don't really care, because it also shows how effective your writing ability is. But I was also studying your fic, trying to pick out the things I both liked and didn't like about it, as you did beg for crit so early on in the story. So, after sleeping on it and thinking about it, I've decided that I can properly review this piece.
First of all, I want to say that as an author, I know how you feel about not getting reviews. You poor your heart into the story and you want someone to reply to it, good or bad. You need to improve, after all. And you did make a distinct point: they are getting word porn for free! The least they could do is review! I snapped once like that in my fanfiction, so I can sympathize. Except I waited four years for another update. Life happens, sweetheart. You're not obligated to update this fic. When you start feeling like writing fanfiction is an obligation, it's no longer fun, and the whole point of fanfiction is practice and fun! We don't want you to lose your joy! Life is important. Take care of life first. People will always be around to wait patiently for updates to your fanfiction. Trust me. I know this from experience.
Now then, onto the actuality of the matter.
I talked to your fic. I actually talked to it. I interacted with the characters out loud, as if I were a part of the story. Talking to a story is a great thing; as a reader, it means I am very engaged. And I was very engaged. I was absorbed, engrossed, couldn't stop reading until the very last chapter. I love stories like that. If this were in print I'd curl up with it in a second with a warm cup of cocoa and just read myself into a brain numbing stupor. I mean that.
Your characters come to life so easily; I was gripped within the first five sentences, and that rarely happens for me, even with original fiction. I feel I have to plow on for a few pages before I get to a point where I don't want to put it down, but with this fic, it wasn't a choice. I wasn't going to put it down. How could I? And miss the life-like interaction between favored characters? My body said "Sleep!" but my brain said "Shut the hell up. We're enjoying ourselves for once."
And your characters. Oh my, but I think Alucard (believing that he is Dracula) would probably be just like that. He really is a monster, but with a soul and a heart like no other. That passion, that drive is still there, and has been there so long he no longer recognizes it as such. That is the very thing that appeals to me about him, and you've captured it so perfectly, down to the Romanian (not an expert on Romanian but it was believable to me), the bloodlust, and the sexuality that would accompany a practiced killer with a background and history bathed in blood.
How darling are Integra, Walter, and Seras? While the story is told from her point of view, I like the fact that she has equal character interaction with everyone, so the story isn't just about her and her feelings. She focuses on other events besides her relationship with her master, and other things happen in the story that aren't service to this, but rather help to shape it. Ahh. I sigh a sigh of satisfaction from this alone. How rare this is in a fanfiction nowadays. How very, very rare.
And the priest, or rather, ex-priest. He gets great giggles from me. You did his accent well, but I love the matter that you currently have him grappling with: housed with monsters he's sworn to hate, deserving of forgiveness but fighting against it tooth and nail. Huzzah for internal struggles. They are the best kind, and his kind is more appealing to me, since religious zealots are such a fascination.
The thing I liked the most though? I love how you explore the sexuality of each and every character, without shame or trying to cover it over with fine, flowery words. It's real, it's raw, it's unabashed - like sexuality should be. It's sex. It doesn't need to be accompanied by purple prose; it is what it is. Obviously, you took this point of view as well.
Last, but not least? Your vocabulary is superb. Just thought you'd like to know.
You worked very hard on this. You did research, you studied your characters, you evolved them to a believable and reasonable degree beyond the original 13 episodes we're stuck with. Pat yourself on the back, because this is excellent, and is going on my rec list as soon as I'm done.
Did I find anything wrong with it? Not particularly. The only thing I didn't like was the chapter length; they're so short and there's so many of them! It made my eyes roll around in my head for a moment. But it's not anything to concern yourself with - that's just my personal preference.
In conclusion: this was delicious, and a rare gem. My hat's off to you. And I do look forward to future updates.

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed the previous two or three chapters! (I love your writing and like to take every opportunity to tell you so *grins*) In my own defense I've been stuck in the land of the Danes and the Geats...
Argh! Anyway, this has to be one of my most favorite chapters (though it's so hard to choose). Erm, Alucard's native tongue is Hungarian, no? Out of curiosity, are you fluent? Cause it sounds like you're quite familiar with the language.
I love the back and forth conversations between Alucard and Seras...and I'm dying of curiosity to know what's wrong with Walter. Earache my patootie!

Sorry I haven't said anything for the last few Chapters. Unfortunately, college keeps me from enjoying these little pleasures as quickly as I would like to. That being said, I'd just like to say Bravo dear. Very nice work indeed. I must say that you got the emtions for the last few chapters down pat. As for everythig else, very good as usual. Now if you would excuse me, bed has been calling me for the last few days and because of a test earlier, I have been vehemently ignoring it. Time to get reaquainted. Bye for now! SnK.
P.S. I must confess that I am very curious about Walter at the moment. I do hope that he's merely ill. To see him turn traitor would be a horrible thing indeed.

You always write Alucard-Seras (or I suppose Seras-Alucard for this chapter) biting scenes so well, with enough details to make it sensuous and seductive without being overly graphic...
*cough* Anyway, I can't believe Seras admitted that she loves her master; I suppose she was too preoccupied by his blood. Even so, it doesn't seem like Alucard read deeper into it than a fledgling's love for her master. In a way, that makes me sad, because it's just a confirmation that Alucard will never love her the way she loves him. On an unrelated note, I do like that Seras can now understand Romanian; I won't have to go to Babelfish for translations anymore.
Keep up the good work!
