You've got me wondering what Alucard has been shouting in foreign tongue. Good chapter, I bet the convict tasted worse than Walter would've.

I was just amusing myself over the idea really, but now that you offer... Might be fun to let them have it out to liven up the manor. And Alucard would just watch and say something like, "Tut, such senseless violence." XD

not moved in yet but taking a break from packing to check on the story. Love the Nessie bit - plot thickens too as Alucard's heart was beating on its own! Cool.
Can't wait for more! Thursday evening I intend to relax in my new garden tub with whirlpool and my laptop reading what I miss Wednesday and Thursday during the day and evening!
Very interesting and different "bad guys" - I really like the originality of magic users (for lack of a better term) creating a new kind of werewolf from chipped freaks - new, different, unusual, original and way cool.

Anonelbe, I'll put it in. I think his character suits such a...(for lack of a more appropriate term) perversion. Your perception is good. Alucard's new kindness has a lot to do with her shedding of humanity, but there's a little more to it as well. Thanks for the feedback!
Wanderer, thank you. I try to update every day, so you can pick between a regular update, or just hold off for chunks. I respect both methods of reading. Most people don't read a book one chapter at a time, probably!
Snake-eat-dog, I just may have to figure out some way to incorporate the cat fight. I laughed at your imagined comment from Alucard. I can see him saying that, really. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Matoska, hope you get moved in soon! Yeah, had fun with Nessie. Did you know you can watch the Loch Ness live 24 hours a day on webcam, just for the hope of spotting her? I plan to explain Alucard's heart before too long. God, it sounds nice to get in a whirlpool and read. Don't drop the laptop! I figured we had vampires, why not werewolves? Something Alucard can really hate, lol. Thanks for the reads and reviews!

AtticMonster, thanks! It's good you're curious! Means I'm doing my job, lol.
Anonelbe, thanks for the R&R! What sort of reward do you have in mind?? Give me an idea or two and I'll see if I can't put them in.

Damn... poor Seras, left in agony for a full day like that. But, finally, she starts to awaken as a true Midian.
Am I the only one who views her shattering of the handcuffs as more symbolic than just standing up in anger?
Also, why could I have easily seen Seras trying to pin down Alucard in that brief moment of rage?

We humans can choose our gods and use our own special magic to get nasty and spawn werewolves for residual threatening vampires because we just gotta, and stuff. Still having fun reading this, no complaints.
I wonder if Serras will have one of those fights with Integra when they get back. No words, she just busts down the doors and they immediately start duking it and the fight spills out into the halls, then the street, then downtown, etc. That'd be great.

Anonelbe, her awakening has just begun. Yes, it is more than symbolic for her to break her ties. You just stay tuned for that last thought. Thank you oh so much for the R&R!
Snake-Eat-Dog, thanks for the vote of confidence. You want an Integra/Seras fight? Let me know so I can put it in if you truly want to see it. Thak you for reviewing and giving comments!
BlackDesert, thanks! I update as often as possible, which amounts to every day so far. Hope to keep you entertained!

First off, I hadn't seen your comment to my weekend review when I reviewed this morning, so I'll give my answer now. At some point, far enough in where Seras is more open with her feelings, I would love to see her introduced to bondage via Alucard. Something tells me that she'd enjoy it enough to make it a regular occasion.
Back to the matter at hand: A nice, calming chapter, with plenty of kindAlucard moments, including him rowing Seras over a lake. Me thinks he's being far kinder than usual, perhaps because of her decreased opinion of humanity.
