lol - I love it. A Zombie hunt maze - the idea is perfect. Needless to say I'm thrilled that you decided to continue your story and happy that the story continues on its steady exciting pace. I read a response of yours that said Alucard softness to Seras would soon be explained. I can't wait for that.

As I've stated, I love your interpretation of Alucard, as you're fusing the best of his Hellsing persona, with the best parts of his past as both the Count Dracula, and Lord Vlad Dracula of Romania's past. (I admire the man for doing exactly what he felt was required to rule his country.)


Can't wait for the latest chapter.

Well, you have my apology for reading and running when I'd finished up to chapter 6 and there were no more at the time. I'll make up for that now that I've caught up to chapter 14.

Hmm, you write what I like to read, I can say that much. Your plot is interesting, and unlike the majority of fics found anywhere, doesn't feel at all rushed, no amateur work here.
If I had to say something I don't like, which isn't easy when I'm enjoying it overall so much, well, all I can think of is that segment where Alucard breaks down in front of Integra, I really can't see that even as a possibility. But whatever, it still got to me a little thanks to Serras' reactions.

I'm sorry but also glad you are comtinuing this story as I think it is very good. A little change of character for Alucard but in a good way (I am not one to believe he is all "bad and evil" like some authors take him). I do find reviewing in this Fiction site a bit difficuly however which is why I will rate chapters but seldom review. My computer does not like the login for some reason and gives me much grief. I do hope this story will continue and conclude as I really am enjoying the change of venue. Thank you again for continuing.

Brava! Another writer sent me a pointer to your final post. I absolutely applaud you for having the stones to just belt out what most all writers here have thought at one point or another. I have woken up and found I had two hundred or more hits in the night and only received like four reviews.

Good for you! With your permission, I'd like to place a pointer to 'chapter 12' at the bottom of one of my original posts. We original category writers love support for offering our projects just as much as the fanfic authors.

what a pity, you're going to stop? but the story is so awesome! i really love it, the pairings are awesome; i alway though alucard and seras belong together, and that last chapter, that was really hot! you really rock as a writer

I have to admit, I feel bad reviewing after you posted this, as I've been meaning to do so for a good while. I apologize for that.


Where can I begin? The subtle analogues between the novel form of Dracula, and Alucard's reactions to it? Seras' reactions to finally drinking fresh blood, and her growing arousal from both the act, and Alucard himself, or even the last chapter, where Alucard displayed one of the least showed abilities he uses, and to perfect effect? The fact that your story actually caused me to realize the one relationship I never noticed in the original Dracula, yet upon your mentioning it, can see it so clearly now that I'm almost ashamed to have not seen it beforehand?

I hope you don't give up on the story, it's probably one of the few perfectly done Hellsing het series, keeping the Master/servant relationship together so perfectly.

Finally, a personal question, What inspires you to write so much, in such a short time? In the span of a week, you've posted almost 8 chapters, where the story I'm trying to work on, I've hit a roadblock on my forth chapter, and not moved since due to lack of inspiration.

Anonelbe, My intention is not to make anyone feel bad, honestly. I just get frustrated writing a few thousand words per day, posting it, and seeing nothing for my effort. I am not a professional writer, but even if I were, it would irritate me to throw my purple prose to the abyss.

I don’t want praises lavished upon me, just an acknowledgement of the effort I put into the fic. Ideally, this comes in the form of a one-sentence review, not a vote or dead air. Honestly, what is my motivation to continue writing if I get nothing in return? I don’t know if what I write is shit or whatever, when people don’t respond. And, if I can’t even get that much reply from my readers, what makes me want to go on??

As to what inspires me to write, I can only say that I have one good friend who reads what I pound out. She helps. Other than her, no one is motivating me. I am unemployed at present time, and have a few hours per day to cook up something for the main characters.

If you have lack of inspiration, it’s probably due to lack of feedback from our readers. We live in an age of internet anonymity, where a person can get by with getting something for nothing. I’m sure your writing deserves some recognition. No matter how bad or good, every writer deserves a bit of constructive criticism. It costs nothing, and takes less than a half minute to give an author some flames or praise.

Email me. I’ll read and review anything you send. And, I’ll send my own stuff for your enjoyment if you so desire. I’m sure you get what I mean when I say that all I ever wanted was some feedback.
