I liked that your Akihito was active and had courage (or compulsion) to make very hard decisions. He's desperate in his actions so there must be something unimaginable and horrendous at the base level of his and Asami's relationship to make him act like that. I find it so hard to think of anything that would make Akihito so extreme. The very phrase you quoted, 'Do not throw my heart around’, reveals that there is so much love. But maybe more is revealed if you plan to continue the story and Akihito's motives come clear.

I liked Akihito's parents very much too. One can easily see where Akihito gets his character, the determination and courage. (Though I can't say this about Yasuo Shouji.)

I wasn't that sure about Fei Long's appearance. You had led your story at certain pace and Fei Long disturbed that pace. The scene seemed to pass too quick.
