Chapter One: First meetings
Sitting alone in the woods behind an old park D sat with T-chan in his lap, having a small picnic and letting his mind wonder where ever he wished, here there was no one to restrain him. His Grandfather had said that a new pet had arrived earlier that day, but he had yet to see it, so he put it down as one of things he had to do when he returned to the pet shop. T-chan growled, causing D to look up just as Leon and Chris came into view over the hill, Chris waved excitedly before running over to sit with them. /Hey Count D!/
"Hello Chris, Officer Orcot."
"What are you doing out here D...planning a drug meeting or something?"
"Of course not Detective, I am merely enjoying the last of the warm weather by having a picnic, perhaps you and Chris would care to join us?"
Chris looked at him pleadingly and Leon sat down as D began pouring tea for them. "O.k. but we can't stay for too long...got it Chris, I can't be late back to the station." Chris smiled at him and nodded, he knew that he'd be staying with D and the animals until Leon got off work tonight. The picnic went smoothly with a little talking here and there until it was time for Leon to return to the station and he left waving to Chris as he went.
The pet shop seemed unusually quiet when they walked in, the animals all seemed oddly at peace and Q-chan came flying over happily chirping at D. "Q! Q Q Q Q!"
D looked at him silently for a moment, "I wonder what is happening with the animals...they are never this quiet. Do you suppose it could be because of the new pet?"
Chris shrugged and went to play like he always did at the pet shop, but today he found a new room with large silver doors with ancient designs carved in them. Curiosity welled in him and he wasted no time going into the room, it was dark, but warm, and in here the incense smelt different, even better than the count's usual ones. He looked around at all the shadows, but he didn't feel any fear, something told him that nothing in here would hurt him.
There was movement in one corner of the room and he jumped slightly, but even in the darkness he could make out the white shape before him of a woman, her silver eyes seemed to glow with an inner light and her smile made Chris feel happy. She held out her arms and he ran into a hug, squeezing her tightly as only a child would truly do to someone they'd just met. Her skin was warm, almost burning hot, but it was a comfortable heat, and Chris just stayed with her in the embrace for a while. When she pulled back a little she looked around and torches lit around the room, she stared at him a moment before speaking, "Hello...what is your name?"
He tried a few times before his voice actually worked, "C...Chr...Chris."
She smiled warmly, "Hello, Chris, my name is Elizabeth Gin." (Pronounced Gee, Japanese for silver)
Chris smiled up at her, then he heard D calling for him, that meant that unlike every other room, he could not sense this one. He looked at her sadly, "I...have.....to.....go."
She nodded and the door opened, "Until we meet again, Chris."
He walked out and a few moments later D was leading him back to the front of the store for tea and cake. The menu today was peppermint tea and a triple fudge, four layer cake, with white fudge frosting. They ate silently and then it was time for Chris to do his homework, that was the deal, he had to get all of his homework done before Leon came to pick him up and then he could roam the store as long as he liked. He wanted to get back to the room with the silver doors but Leon chose today to get home early and he ended up taking Chris back to his apartment.
Count D looked at the door into the back of the store and wondered why Chris had looked back there so sadly as if he wanted to go back to something he had found back there, but he had already seen all of the creatures back here...except the newest one that he wasn't even sure what it was, but he guessed that now was the perfect time to find out. He walked back until he found the new silver doors, he felt the power from inside and actually gulped as he opened the door.
The room was completely dark again and the creature remained hidden from him, Q-chan flew in and landed on his shoulder, explaining something to him. "Q Qu, QQQ Que Q Q!"
"It has to find me worthy before I can see it?"
"Q."
"Okay how do I show that I am worthy?"
"Q Q QQQQ."
D sighed but did as he had been told, he bowed low to the ground and waited for the sign of approval. The room filled with a soft music and he looked up slightly to see the room covered in a golden glow from the torches. But she remained hidden, with a small growl D began to push himself up, but a small pale hand was held out to him, he looked up into silver eyes and one word reverberated in his mind.../Perfect./
He let her help him up and studied her body respectfully, her long silver hair was loose and ended just below her knees; her lips and nails were silver; her skin was whiter than freshly fallen snow; a silver star took center stage on her forehead; and her eyes were an intense molten silver with swirls of every color imaginable visible in them. She smiled and the room seemed to grow warmer, to the temperature of a living room on a cold day with a fire blazing in the hearth.
"I am Count D," his voice was breathy as he looked upon her smiling face.
Her head tilted in acknowledgment, "I am Elizabeth Gin, it is a pleasure to meet you...Count D."
She leaned forward and embraced him, but where her embrace had been warm with Chris it was burning with D and he knew...that this was not an average pet...even by his standards. "What are you?"
She licked his cheek lightly, making D moan lightly, "I am the Beginning..."
"I don't understand..."
"You don't need to, you were meant to be my pet...as well as your detective."
D frowned, "but we aren't pets..."
She smiled at him and kissed his lips softly, D groaned as he tasted her mouth, sweeter than the sweetest candy he had ever tasted and threaded his hands in her hair. "Are you sure?" she whispered against his mouth before delving her tongue into his mouth, kissing him thoroughly and making D's body melt against hers.
D wasn't so sure anymore, if this was how she treated her pets he wouldn't mind, she pulled away and put her mouth to his throat licking the skin over his pulse, "But Leon can't see you, he can't see any of the animals as they truly are."
She smiled, "Me, he will see, I shall make sure of that."
She lowered him to the ground and began to undress him, her hands brushing against his skin at every opportunity. D groaned as her body pressed his against the soft carpeting of the room, her own dress brushing softly against the exposed skin was the softest he'd ever felt, but he couldn't determine what was softer, the dress, or her skin. He tugged at the dress impatiently, "Off!"
She laughed and pulled the dress over her head, "Better?" she asked as pale breasts with perked silver nipples caught his undivided attention, he just nodded as his hands reached out for her. She came down to him, pausing just short of letting her touch him, D groaned but knew better than to move in the presence of a predator that considered itself an equal.
She crushed herself to him and straddled his waist, then just when D was about to pull her down to him, she rammed herself down and D half screamed, half groaned as he was encased within, he looked up to see amused silver eyes watching his face...he had had just about enough of the superiority. He rammed her at a sharper angle and when her head flew back he rolled her under him. D's powers began building around them and he noticed a new silver energy blending with them, her hands raked at his back drawing small lines of blood. He let his blood run down onto her and watched as she took one hand and brought the blood to her lips and licked it clean. She moaned softly and wrapped her legs around D's thin waist, adding extra friction between them and making the angle sharper, both groaned at the new feeling. D did not do this often, had not done anything of the sort for years, now all the tension he had saved up was releasing itself on the creature below him and for this one he did not need to hold back for fear of hurting her, he could release all of the restraints he had to keep and let himself finally relax.
Her arms drew him down and as he felt the familiar tightening she bit him hard enough to draw blood where neck met shoulder, and that was when D found his completion, releasing inside of her and pulling away enough to get his mouth to her throat to return the favor. In the most ancient of dances, they had marked each other, nothing could ever take them away from each other any more, for the rest of eternity neither had to be alone ever again...
The bell above the door rang and Leon's voice rang throughout the pet shop "HEY D! WHERE YOU AT?"
D raised his head up and looked out the door, "I'm afraid Detective, you must try and find me." He curled closer to her, hiding his face in the crook of her neck over her new mark. "Because I am not moving......wonder if he'll find us?"
Elizabeth chuckled, "Don't worry, D, I will make sure my detective finds us...I am no where near done for this night..."
