Thankful Meeting

Hello I\'m Xunxin, this is my first fanfic, and so I hope you like it. And no I do not own Gravitation, unfortunately.

Summary: This is an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE. Shuichi Shindou is, of course, in Bad Luck and is currently dating a man named Akuma Shoyu (If you look up the name in a Japanese dictionary, you\'ll see what it means.) This guy happens to be abusive and possessive over Shuichi but no one knows. Until he bumps into someone special.^_^

Thankful Meeting

Chapter 1:

\"Here is your pain medicine. Now you have to remember to only take it once a day, no more. And take it easy on that arm of yours broken bones take awhile to heal.\" The doctor informed Shuichi as he sat in an examination room. He was wearing black leather pants that were adorned by two belts, one pink, the other purple and a white short-sleeved shirt. Shuichi nodded and mumbled a soft \"thank you\" to the doctor as he got up to leave. Before he could cross the doorway, the doctor stopped him.
\"If you don\'t mind, could I ask how you broke your arm in the first place?\"
Shuichi stood in the doorway wide-eyed and pale. As he turned to the doctor he regained his composure and replayed, \"Um, well, you see, I, tripped and fell down the stairs, in my home.\" Shuichi managed to hide the nervous quiver in his voice and quickly walked out the door and down the hall before the doctor could stop him again.

( Currently at NG studios)

Hiro walked into the studio and looked around as he sat down his stuff. \"Hey Suguru, Shuichi isn\'t here yet?\" He asked the green haired man sitting at the keyboards.
Suguru looked up and around and shrugged. \"Guess not. Besides, if he were, I think you\'d be able to hear him.\"
\"Guess I should give him a call before Sakano has a fit. He\'s already on edge because Nittle Grasper is on tour.\" Hiro stated as he took out his cell phone.
\"You do that. Just shut up so I can work. I have to organize our new song.\" Suguru complained with irritation in his voice.
\"Yeah, yeah.\" Hiro dialed Shuichi\'s cell number and let it ring, and ring, and ring until he finally picked up.
\"Hello?\" Shuichi answered with a nervous voice.
\"Shu? Are you okay? You sound funny. And why aren\'t you at work yet?\" Hiro calmly asked into the phone.
\"Hiro, um, sorry, I got caught up at the coffee shop.\" Shu apologized while quickly making up a lie. \"I\'ll be right there.\" With that Hiro heard Shuichi hang up. Hiro just looked at the phone in his hand for a few minutes wondering why Shuichi sounded so nervous and hung up so quickly.
\"Hey, stop day dreaming and get to work.\" Suguru yelled over his shoulder.

( Back at the hospital)

Shuichi shut his phone before Hiro could say more and offered a silent apology to him for lying. \'Man, I thought that was HIM. I was so scared, I hope Hiro didn\'t notice.\' Shuichi continued down the hall towards the main lobby. As he rounded the corner, Shu was in the process of putting on a light purple shirt and looking down to button it up half way. Which isn\'t a very smart thing to do as he ended up running into someone and falling down on his left arm. The same arm that has the fresh cast on it. Shuichi let out a small cry of pain as he tried to sit up.
\"Are you alright?\" The voice asked a little concerned.
\"Yeah, I think so.\" Shuichi answered in a small voice, clutching his arm.
The voice reached out a hand to help him up and pull Shuichi to his feet.
\"Good. You should watch where you\'re going next time baka.\" The man said sounding annoyed.
Shuichi looked up to see who he ran into and was met with a pair of amber eyes. The man had golden blonde hair and wore dark blue jeans with a light blue sweater on top of a white button up shirt. \' This guy is gorgeous. I don\'t think I can talk much less think. Not that I think much in the first place.\' Out loud he softly mumbled \"Wow. You\'re beautiful.\"
\"What?\" The man asked when he noticed Shuichi just staring at him. He just heard what Shuichi said but made no notice of hearing it.
\"Wha... Oh, um, nothing. Sorry for running into you but I was looking where I was going.\" Shuichi said with a small defiant frown on his face.
The man raised his eyebrow and with the hint of an amused smile on his face replied, \"Oh really? Then explain to me the reason that YOU ran into ME.\"
\"Well, because YOU didn\'t bother to move.\"
The man with golden hair just shook his head. \"Baka, you could at least apologize.\" He said in a slightly harsh tone.
\"Oh, I\'m so...hey, I did you moron.\" Shuichi said starting to get angry and trying to cross his arms over his chest despite the cast.
\"It\'s Yuki, not moron. And you call that an apology?\" The man had the hint of a smile on his lips even though his voice sounded harsh.
\'Wow, he has the most lovely smile ever. I think I\'m gonna melt.\' Getting his words back Shuichi said out loud, \"Well, Yuki, I am sincerely sorry for running into you. It was all my fault and I hope you can forgive me!\" Shuichi bowed with a bright smile and, straightening up, turned to leave. Yuki was stunned by the smile and couldn\'t help watching him as he walked down the hall. \'Damn that kid is weird. But he does have one fine ass. He\'s not too bad to look at either.\' Yuki ran after him before he could turn the corner and stopped Shuichi in his tracks by slipping his arms around his waist. Slipping a piece of paper in Shuichi\'s pocket, Yuki whispered into his ear, \"I forgive you.\" It was said in a low seductive voice that made Shuichi shiver. He then let go and turned to walk towards the elevators leaving Shuichi standing there stunned.
