Written for Devera (Devikun), inspired by her Nature Weekly Challenge drabble on 100_roadtrips. I kinda stole bits and pieces of her drabble, with her permission, of course.

Gojyo didn\'t even need to look up from his menu to know what made Hakkai utter the small sound. He already knew, just from the tone of his voice.

There was someone in the inn that looked like Kanan.

And that someone just happened to be their waitress.

Hakkai could barely speak, just sitting there staring at her. The brunette always dealt badly with unsubtle reminders of his dead lover.

She was pretty, Gojyo admitted inwardly upon inspection, but not his type. She was just a little to hyper for him, the general bubbliness that many teenaged girls tend to have wearing on his nerves. She had the faint impressions of Hakkai\'s features; a delicate face, brilliant green eyes and long chestnut brown hair back in a messy braid. While Gojyo had never actually seen Kanan, she and Hakkai--well, Gonou--had been siblings. Even he and Jien had similar physical characteristics, and they were just half-brothers.

Emerald eyes met his crimson ones after their orders were placed, a storm of emotion churning in the depths. He gave him a private smile, a booted foot rubbing fondly against the inside of Hakkai\'s ankle under the table as he argued with Goku over food and dodged Sanzo\'s potshots.

Both knew it wasn\'t the end.

\"Hey, Hakkai, wait up.\"

Hakkai turned at the sound of Gojyo\'s voice, waiting as the half-breed jogged slightly down the dusty street. \"Want some company?\" he asked, flashing a grin.

Hakkai gave an answering grin. \"Of course.\"

The two were quiet walking down the street. Gojyo pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lit up, the smoke curling up against the blue expanse of sky.

Gojyo didn\'t say a word when the two walked right by the town\'s general store.

Within no time, they were outside the town, the trees growing thicker the further they walked. Gojyo looked over at Hakkai as slender fingers interlaced through his tan ones. Gojyo squeezed the hand fondly, pulling Hakkai close for a kiss.

The taste of tobacco was heavy on Gojyo\'s tongue, the half-smoked cigarette dangling in his other hand. The nicotine and the taste of Gojyo mixed, the heat from the kiss causing the rational part of Hakkai\'s mind to shut down.

Gojyo was slightly surprised when Hakkai shoved him against a tree, but surprise was quickly replaced by desire. It was rare that the brunette took control in such a manner, but it was not unwelcome.

Tongues dueled for dominance as the two stumbled off the beaten path, bumping into trees and stumbling over roots until they fell into a tangle of arms and legs in a small clearing. Hakkai rolled Gojyo under him, straddling his hips and leaning down to place biting kisses on the redhead\'s neck. Gojyo moaned low in his throat and pushed up against his lover\'s body, a carnal voice crowing as he felt a bulge in Hakkai\'s pants pressing against his stomach.

Various pieces of clothing flew across the clearing; boots, pants, shirts, underwear. Soon Hakkai and Gojyo were nearly naked--Gojyo\'s white undershirt was still on, neither desiring to break their kiss longer than it took to get Hakkai\'s over his head. Their bodies rubbed against one another, groaning into each other\'s mouths as their erections rubbed against one another. Gojyo watched the change overtake his lover. Emerald turned into a deeper shade of green, slitted like a cat\'s. His ears elongated into almost-points, the third limiter restraining complete change. The dark demon birthmark, blurred by the third restraint, looked more akin to a string of bruises marking his skin. His canine teeth sharpened slightly, and rounded claws bit into Gojyo\'s skin.

The removal of the demon limiters took away some of Hakkai\'s precious self-control. The brunette was never a selfish lover, but Gojyo believed that on occasion he needed a little selfishness when it came to sins of the flesh.

Two fingers pressed eagerly against Gojyo\'s mouth, and he opened his lips obediently. His tongue caressed the fingers lovingly, nibbling the tips and drawing impatient growls from the demon. Impatiently, he pulled the fingers out of the half-breed\'s mouth, his hand moving down Gojyo\'s body, swiping at the head of his cock and collecting more of the precum that had leaked out.

The fingers that pressed into Gojyo\'s body were rather gentle, and characteristically Hakkai. The fingers stretched the ring of muscle, scissoring gently before pushing deeper into his body, curling and brushing against his prostate.
