Characters: The Sanzo party from Kazuya Minekura’s Saiyuki
Betas: None
Author’s notes: Takes place during the middle of the journey and references events that occur in both the manga and anime. I’ve really appreciated the reviews, they encouraged me to finish this prequel and I hope you enjoy it. It will be only three chapters and I promise to never leave you hanging with an incomplete story.

Three of a Kind
Gojyo’s shakujou swung out in a lethal arc, it sliced in a very messy way through two of his opponents. He gave a satisfied hiss as chunks of demon rained to the ground. Spinning, he caught sight of the barrel of Sanzo’s gun leveling right at him and gave a startled yelp.
“Sanzo!” his voice rose to a much higher pitch than he liked. The gun roared and Gojyo felt something hot slice his cheek. Sanzo missed! No, Sanzo never missed; a heavy weight crashed behind him with a thud. Gojyo jumped as a huge axe buried itself in the ground not inches from his foot.
“Fuck!” He yelled and leapt sideways.
Sanzo rolled his eyes and was already sighting his weapon on his next victim. Gojyo returned to his position at Sanzo’s back, brought his staff up and joined in dispatching their remaining attackers. It was a disorganized and sloppy bunch, a group the Sanzo ikko should have been able to take down quickly.
Even before the last demon fell, three pairs of eyes pinned Gojyo where he stood. The silence stretched across the battlefield broken only by a lone yell. Hakkai’s frown deepened and he tossed a chi ball at the moron running up in a last ditch attack. The demon exploded into a shower of sparks.
Gojyo couldn’t stand it anymore, “What?” he huffed.
Sanzo cocked an eyebrow and gave him the “you idiot” look. Hakkai’s eyes slid to the dripping red trail on Gojyo’s cheek. He closed the distance to Gojyo and wiped at the injury with his thumb.
“Yeah, so I was a little off today.” Gojyo grumbled.
“A little?” Goku yelled, “Today? Try all this week!”
“Maybe next time someone could be bothered to join the party and actually do something. I don’t need any dead weight around here.” Sanzo voice dripped with sarcasm.
“Bite me!” Gojyo snapped defensively, “You’ve got enough dead weight between your legs for the three of us!”
The four were standing in a circle surrounded by gore and corpses, the wind blew sand and grit into Gojyo’s eyes making them sting. Goku moved toward jeep first. He was done fighting and ready for whatever would happen next, hopefully it was a meal.
Sanzo snorted and followed his pet; he slid into the front seat and waited without looking at the pair facing off in the dirt.
“Gojyo? I’ve never seen you like this.” Hakkai said with a small smile.
“I’m fine, just drop it okay?” Gojyo couldn’t face his friend and kicked at something slimy on the ground.
Hakkai fingered the slice on Gojyo’s upper arm, and the redhead winced slightly. He’d been tagged earlier in the fight, a deep cut on his upper arm.
“Yeah, sure. Whatever it is you just better figure it out. You’ve got enough scars as it is-you don’t need any more.”
They both turned and walked back to the jeep. Hakkai flipped open the map. “The next village is not too far, we should be there by dinner.”
“Dinner? Oh yeah I’m starving!” Goku was cheered at the thought of his next meal, he chattered away for most of the trip. The silence of the other three was nothing that was out of the ordinary and was not unexpected.
----
Gojyo peered into the mirror and fingered the raw trail left by Sanzo’s bullet, that one hurt more than the deeper slice on his arm. It probably would scar, well his hair would cover that one too. He ignored the byplay of the other three; suddenly the hotel room seemed too small. Why Sanzo kept insisting that they share a room was beyond him.
He could do with some privacy. He just needed some time away from the others to think. Hakkai turned at the sound of their room’s door clicking shut. Sanzo didn’t even look up from his paper.
“Well?” Sanzo asked and then looked pointedly at the door. He hated all the personal, emotional stuff. It was baggage that was messy and really slowed him down. He could have been to Houtou Castle and back by now. He didn’t care what Gojyo needed to fix his problem; he just wanted the half-breed back in fighting form.
Hakkai nodded and left the room. Going downstairs he looked through the doorway to the bar, Gojyo wasn’t there. He shook his head concerned at the change in Gojyo’s behavior. It was nothing really obvious, just small tantalizing clues.
Since starting this little secular field trip Gojyo had spent less and less time in bars and picking up women. Of course Sanzo’s hounding him about the women and insisting that they stay together might have something to do with that.
He eventually found Gojyo sitting on a bench outside in the hotel’s courtyard. Night had fallen and the redhead was cloaked in darkness. The end of Gojyo’s cigarette glowed briefly.
He looks different, Hakkai thought abruptly. Gojyo turned towards the slender brunet. The glowing light reflected the gleam of one crimson eye and a slice of cheekbone through the fall of red silken hair. The cocky mask that the half-breed used to keep others at bay was gone.
In the years that they had roomed together this was something Hakkai had rarely seen. A glimpse of the man, raw and vulnerable; it pulled him like nothing else could.
“So.” Hakkai said, sitting gingerly next to Gojyo. He leaned into the other’s warmth. Gojyo looped his arm around Hakkai’s waist as their bodies settled against each other with familiar ease.
“Forgot your jacket again.” Gojyo chuckled at his absentminded friend.
“Well, have you figured it out?”
“Figured what out?” Gojyo tried to avoid the conversation. He didn’t want to discuss this and he wasn’t going to make it easy on Hakkai. He felt Hakkai sigh and ignored his own answering twinge of guilt.
“Gojyo you’ve been, let’s say; distracted for the past couple of weeks and its getting worse.” Hakkai watched his friend’s mouth curve in a smile around his cigarette. Gojyo simply tightened his arm around Hakkai’s waist and said nothing.
“Is it about the women? Do you need …you know, to get laid?”
Gojyo let out a short bark of laughter.
“No.” He said and meant it. This wasn’t a case of blue balls that the nearest willing woman with open legs could fix.
Hakkai had been with him longer than anyone, and had always stood by him. Hadn’t judged him as others often did. Gojyo watched in wonder as Cho Gonou transformed into Cho Hakkai somehow finding the will to live.
Gojyo couldn’t help but feel envious of the man who had found something precious, who had known love. After meeting Hakkai, something slowly crystallized in Gojyo; he wanted that kind of love-to feel closer to someone than life itself. He needed to be accepted and cherished for what he was. It was a constant nagging ache now that set up camp in his gut.
He felt isolated by the expectations and assumptions held by any who saw his red hair and eyes. People shied from him, expected him to act like a mad dog with no morals. He was a novelty; fuck the half demon-he’ll even do it for free!
At times he thought that if someone were nice to him he would shatter. Perhaps the monk’s abrasive personality and Hakkai’s aloof politeness were good things. It kept him at a distance, from wanting too much or expecting things that they weren’t capable of giving. Daily he faced an internal battle against giving in to the loneliness and loosing a part of himself that he had recently recovered.
The woman and cards, his way of life had always disgusted him. It had been his way of coping to loose himself in empty sex and that was how he always felt afterward, empty and lost. Since living with Hakkai and going on this trip he had begun to feel better about himself, to have a sense of purpose.
Now, he needed more than just physical release. His body ached to be touched but he knew that an hour’s meaningless romp would leave him feeling worse afterward. When he couldn’t stand it anymore, maybe in the next town; he’d pick someone up. It would be a brief bit of warmth. He knew he would feel hollow following the encounter. It didn’t seem worth it, but he needed something other than his own hand to bring his body relief.
Hakkai waited, demanding nothing just content to talk when his friend was ready to open up. Gojyo felt a sense of peace stealing over him. He liked the way Hakkai settled against him. He would give his life for Hakkai and the crusty monk and the monkey for that matter. There was a bond of pain and shared hardship that linked them.
He shifted on the hard bench and tried to get more comfortable.
“Hey! Are you two making out or something?” Goku shouted across the courtyard.
“If the group hug is over, dinner is on the table.” Sanzo’s voice drifted to them.
Hakkai dropped his head onto Gojyo’s shoulder briefly then he laughed and stood up. Gojyo pushed aside the feeling of loss and pulled his shirt out of his pants to hide the obvious bulge. To the best of his knowledge his friend’s sex drive had died in that cell along with Kanan. Gojyo tamped down on his now automatic arousal to Hakkai’s nearness. A constant hard on was a small price to pay to for his friendship.
----
By common consent they had ended the days leg of the trip early. In fact as soon as the town had been sighted the jeep began to sway and rock alarmingly. The excited monkey had stood up waving his arms and yelling something about meat buns.
The commotion set off the other two passengers until the fan was flying along with arms and legs. Hakkai just gripped the wheel, occasionally ducked and pulled up at the first inn he spotted.
A meal was the first order of business. In short order the table was covered in a variety of dishes. Goku dove in determined to get as much of it into his stomach as quickly as possible. If he slowed down then there would be less food for him, right?
Hakkai sighed and set his tea down, the food had been very good especially since they had made do with camp rations for three days. He concentrated on his contentment and let the noise generated by the squabbling duo wash over him. Sanzo flipped up his paper and tried to tune the two idiots out. Goku made a grab for the last prawn on the platter only to have the water sprite beat him to it.
“That’s mine! Mine! Mine!” Goku protested and made a snatch for it.
“Okay, chibi chimp take it from me.” Taunted Gojyo as he dropped it in his mouth. Gojyo began to chew very slowly and Goku looked like he was going to go in after the shrimp. The tall half demon grinned and swallowed thoroughly enjoying the fuming golden eyes.
He stood up, “Well, now that’s out of the way…”
“You’ll be cruising for chicks, right?” chimed in Goku while peering at the plates and hoping to find some scrap that was missed in the first assault on the food.
Actually Gojyo had been thinking about shopping for supplies with Hakkai as a sort of apology for his display at the table. He knew he pushed it with Goku sometimes, but it allowed both of them to let off some stream.
Hakkai and Sanzo exchanged a long glance. Sanzo’s fingers tightened on his paper, but he shrugged. Hakkai sat looking at his tea, as if it held all the answers in the universe.
They wanted him to go, they expected him to just disappear on them Gojyo thought. Truthfully, he would have thought nothing of it awhile back. He would have wanted only to sink into some nameless face and fuck until he reached that moment of forgetfulness when the world fell away replaced only by spine tingling pleasure.
The problem was that one always had to come back, clean up and somehow get away from clinging hands. Or worse yet, look into eyes that couldn’t and didn’t even want to know who he was. Eyes as empty and dead as his crimson ones.
“I do have a reputation to maintain.” He said winking at Goku. “Later!”
Gojyo turned and waving his hand, moved to the door without looking back. He couldn’t stop the small voice in his head from shouting please stop me. Someone call me back, I just want…I need to…and then the numbness filled him.
He wasn’t aware of much, the crowds, the noise and mass of people all slid by in a blur. Everything seemed both timeless and pointless. He was looking for something; he couldn’t remember a time when he wasn’t searching desperately to ease the ache in his soul.
Footsteps echoed behind him and he reacted automatically with a fighter’s lethal speed. Gojyo grabbed his assailant and slammed him up against the wall of the nearest building. Hands gripped his wrist and a familiar voice shouted at him.
“Gojyo! It’s me!”
He held Hakkai against the wall with the length of his body. Gojyo couldn’t help but notice the laughing sparkle in the clear green eyes. He had the absurd desire to lower his lips, to kiss… He stopped, his face a breath from Hakkai’s and let the slender brunet slide through his fingers to the ground.
He would cut off his own arm before he’d cause Hakkai further pain.
“Oh, sorry man. Didn’t know it was you.”
Hakkai rubbed his throat and glanced quickly up at his friend. He could almost feel a consuming hollowness pulsing from the redhead.
“We uh…need a fourth for Mahjongg. That is, if you’re not busy.”
Gojyo looked around the dingy street and frowned. Now why was he here?
“Yeah, sure.” He walked back with Hakkai looking at the stores, noticing things as if for the first time.
The table in their room was already set up and the pieces laid out. No one said anything as the two entered. The four men settled in their usual seats and began to play. Gojyo felt some of his restlessness bleed away in the familiar soothing flow of the game.
Gradually the room filled with smoke. The haze hanging low, just short of smothering them. Goku coughed and waved his hand.
“Uhg! I can’t breathe!”
“So open the window, stupid monkey!” Sanzo drawled, he couldn’t believe his luck. He refused to acknowledge that skill was the reason he was doing so poorly.
Hakkai slid out of his chair and opened the window. Immediately the cool breeze caused the smoke to now swirl rather than simply hang.
“Ahh! Like that’s any better?” Goku protested waving his arms wildly.
“Just give it a few minutes.” Hakkai soothed the monkey, ruffling his hand through the thick chocolate locks. He sat down and the play continued. Thus far Gojyo was leading in points, with Sanzo trailing behind the other two.
Gradually the table filled with plates, empty beer cans and spilled ashes. The last game of the night drew to a close when Gojyo finally got the tile he needed from Hakkai’s discard.
“I win!” Gojyo cried flipping his tiles over.
“No fair! How can you have won again?” Goku jumped up and grabbed at Gojyo wrists looking tiles tucked into his arm wraps or anything that gave the kappa an advantage.
“Lady luck just loves long legged red heads.” Drawled Gojyo while he raised his captured hands, dangling Goku in the air since the saru refused to let go.
“Che! She’s probably the only one.” Snorted Sanzo, he was pissed at having lost to Gojyo.
“Hey! Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.” Gojyo retorted and gleefully watched Sanzo frown. “Ha! He’s struck speechless at the thought of my luscious good looks!”
“Idiot!” Sanzo snapped and turned to his cigarette. He was relived that the odd tearing pressure he felt from the water sprite was gone. When he found Goku years ago it had been his annoying voice incessantly calling in his mind that drew him to the monkey. Occasionally he felt things from others and lately there had been a constant wailing scream that wore at his nerves. It had taken him until today to realize that it was coming from Gojyo.
Gojyo tried to shake the chimp off and both fell onto one of the beds.
“Stop messing up my bed, you pervert!” Goku yelled.
“Hey! I was here first! This ones mine!” Gojyo ignored the other three identical looking beds. Determined that this one was the best and therefore his.
Not one to give up, Goku fought back and the two tussled for control of the bed.
The laughing, the game, the fighting, it always ended the same. Sanzo hitting them with a fan, Goku sprawled beneath Gojyo on the bed and Hakkai trying to sort the whole mess out. It helped to put at bay any remaining darkness.
-----
The journey resumed with its usual tedium broken only by occasional squabbling and the odd demon attack. The attacks were easily countered; the tension of too much togetherness was not so easily dispelled. Four strong personalities with no outlet other than each other made things…interesting.
Gojyo sat with his chin on his hand looking at the passing scenery with a slightly glazed expression. He glanced over at the backseat\'s other occupant. Goku looked so peaceful sitting across from him. It was just unnatural.
Gojyo felt a strong, overwhelming, unholy urge to…just…bother the little chimp. He couldn’t stop himself from poking Goku in the side.
Goku started and yelled, “What’d you do that for?”
Inside Gojyo was laughing, but he kept his face straight with an “I didn’t do it” expression. The one poke wasn’t enough so…he did it again.
“Damn it, get me a beer.”
“Sanzo! He’s touching me!” Goku wailed.
Sanzo whipped around his gun raised, ready to ice the two idiots if they didn’t settle down. Suddenly, the jeep slid to a stop, throwing everyone forward in a tangled pile.
“Are you trying to kill us?” Sanzo snapped pulling himself upright.
“Oh look! It’s a hot spring!” Hakkai pointed to a small spring just visible through the trees. Steam wafted over the water’s surface. It was a short distance off the road in a large clearing.
“All right!” Both Gojyo and Goku yelled while hopping over the side of the jeep. They ran to the water’s edge stripping off their clothes as they went.
“I guess we’re camping here for the night.” Hakkai said grabbing their gear and walking to the clearing. Sanzo carried nothing and sat on the nearest log for a smoke.
After unloading everything Hakkai sat down next to Sanzo and couldn’t help but smile at the antics of the two bathers.
“Are you going in?” He asked the monk while he debated on when he would go himself.
“Not now, later.” Sanzo said. There was no way he was bathing at a hot spring with a pervy kappa and damn monkey. They would splash and tease-Goku would want to have fun.
Sanzo just didn’t “do” fun, at least not now. Their mission weighed on him, he found himself making lists, reviewing plans, and his mind running over and over the things he needed to do.
Worse still he’d recently read about a monk on a similar journey and it had taken him 11 years to reach his goal! Eleven years of this shit! My god he’d go insane, that was a test Sanzo didn’t want to face. He was becoming obsessed with picking up the pace of the trip.
He abruptly realized that Hakkai had stopped talking some time ago and wondered if he missed something. Hakkai looked lost in his own world, Sanzo shrugged and pulled out another cigarette. The steam rose gently from the water both reveling and hiding the two bathing figures in tantalizing puffs.
Only one thought circled through Hakkai’s head, they were both so beautiful. Had Gojyo always had such lean muscles, such well-cut curves so deliciously defined? Why hadn’t he ever noticed how Gojyo moved with strength and grace? His legs were long and framed the dark curls at his groin.
Hakkai took a deep breath and tried not to look at Gojyo. It was like a shroud had been torn from his eyes clearly displaying the half demon for his enjoyment. It was not the way he usually looked at his friend.
Why did he feel like he was doing something forbidden? He had certainly watched his companions bathe before only this time was different. He was different.
Goku’s wiry, slender, pale frame reminded him a little of Kanan. But one would never take Goku for a girl. His exuberance and zest made him glow with life. Hakkai jerked his eyes away from the naked bodies sliding together as Gojyo held the soap out of Goku’s reach. Then he couldn’t help looking again...water, soap, slick friction…it made him shiver.
The sun began to sink rapidly behind the trees bringing the night’s chill. Goku and Gojyo finished play…bathing and walked up towards the camp. Water sheeted off lean bodies and Hakkai felt something unfamiliar roll in his stomach and shoot up his spine.
The sun was setting behind them. The two naked men were edged in gold. Gojyo’s fiery hair glowed wetly on his shoulders. He looked nothing short of stunning. Goku was captivating in his youthful innocence. It was obvious that he was untutored…in everything. Hakkai tried to swallow but his mouth was dry.
Sanzo blew out a cloud and shook his head. He gave up trying to get through to the demon killer. Hakkai was just sitting and staring with an absurd expression on his face. Sanzo just hoped that Hakkai wasn’t getting sick; it would be a pain in the ass and slow them down.
Hakkai’s eyes darted around the camp while the other two dressed, he kept trying not to watch but it was impossible not to look. He completely forgot about taking his own bath. Finally Gojyo sat down by the fire his shirt clinging damply to his body.
Hakkai suddenly became aware that he was standing behind Gojyo with his hands fingering the kappa’s wet locks. Gojyo started slightly and arched an eyebrow up at him. Hakkai didn’t even remember moving and he jerked his hands away.
“It’s still very wet. Sit here next to the fire and I’ll brush your hair out for you or you’ll catch cold.” Hakkai hoped his voice came out close to normal and that he didn’t look like a stuttering fool. He just couldn’t help suddenly noticing things…like how Gojyo smelled, the play of muscles in his arms, how capable his long fingers looked.
Gojyo nodded and handed the brush back to Hakkai. Hakkai carefully worked through the tangles slowly brushing the long, red hair. He tried to ignore the heat from Gojyo’s body as the half-demon relaxed against him.
Gojyo felt like purring and hoped this little task would take all night. He leaned back against Hakkai’s thighs and closed his eyes. His mind shut down and he enjoyed the simple pleasure of another’s hands moving through his hair and over his head.
Goku took advantage of the other two’s inattention to raid the cooler for snacks, while Sanzo slipped off for his private bath.
Sanzo finally returned after everyone else had bedded down for the night. He set his blanket at some distance from the others. He preferred to be alone and he crawled into his bedding with out undressing.
A low moan woke Hakkai, he braved the chill and got out of bed. He quickly scanned the clearing for enemies, seeing nothing he cautiously looked at the others. He really didn’t want to interrupt someone having a private moment. That was just too personal for him, although he thought Gojyo was the only one who needed “private” moments.
All his companions were asleep, he was about to go back to bed when he heard the small noise again.
Zeroing in on its source, he went over to Sanzo. One glance at his flushed face was enough to tell him that the priest was ill. The monk’s clothes were damp, his hair still wet and his forehead hot.
“Gojyo!” Hakkai hissed.
“Umm… what?”
“Sanzo’s…”
“Don’t tell me, the illustrious one is sick.” Gojyo sat up his hair slightly tousled. He was just a little grumpy at being woken up because droopy eyes lacked in the common sense department.
“Look we don’t have time for this. Bring your blankets over here.”
“What about me?” Giving your life for someone was one thing, but giving your only blanket was something else entirely. Gojyo had his limits.
“Bring your ass too! And get Goku.” Hakkai added as if Gojyo hadn’t spoken.
“Right! Body heat.” Comprehension dawned and Gojyo moved to comply.
They all rearranged the blankets to put Sanzo in the middle between Gojyo and Goku. Hakkai curled his taller frame around Goku adding his heat to the pile. With a minimum of elbow and knees poking where they shouldn’t they all settled back down to sleep.
Hakkai woke up gasping, his skin soaked in sweat. The blanket bunched around his waist and he looked around wildly. The others still slept as the first blush of dawn crept through the trees. It was still way too early to get up.
He had dreamed again. Hard arms held him down and there was always red. At first he thought it was blood but now he knew it was something else. Gods! He was hard? That hadn’t happened in years, he rubbed his erection through the blankets. In fact he was so hard it hurt.
Hakkai flopped back on the bedding trying to will it away. But it was something that he kept coming back to. Why this, why now? His body, then his mind and now finally his heart had healed.
Earlier during their trip he had made peace with himself. The events with Chin Yisou freed him from his guilt over Kanan’s death, he would always treasure their time together and no one would or could ever replace her. But he also promised himself that he would enjoy the remainder of his life.
His body, it seemed; was waking up with a vengeance and was eager for him to get on with the enjoying part. He stretched and savored the pleasure/pain of his arousal. There was still some time before the others got up so he left the camp to do something about it.
As he stroked himself thoughts flashed through his mind. Muscled arms were holding him, red hair brushing his body, and long legs wrapped around his waist. He wasn’t surprised to find the source of his erotic fantasies male. He shied away from thoughts of being intimate with any woman other than Kanan.
The pleasure of his first orgasm in years poured through him to flashes of sparkling crimson eyes.
Hakkai panted afterwards, the intensity shook him. His brain was singing, and his body tingled all over. Shit! He was hard again already. His fingers worked over his length more slowly this time.
This time he reveled in the feel of his fingers sliding along his stiff flesh. He thoroughly explored himself rolling his balls in his hand before moving back up to the rounded head. Its texture was like velvet; liquid pulsed from tip and smeared under his hand. He stroked down, his hips twitching. Gods! This was just so amazing, delight bubbled through him. He felt like he could do anything and that at least in this moment, everything was wonderful.
The sensitive skin throbbed in response to his touch causing his whole body to heat. He watched his hands as if they belonged to someone else. Each pumping motion brought waves of intense pleasure. The feelings were so new and powerful.
He knew he was going to need to this over and over again. How had he gone so long without this satisfaction? How could he have forgotten this?
Finally he understood why Gojyo so loved to pleasure himself.
He parted his legs and surrendered to the images, just thinking about Gojyo’s tall form dripping with water and edged in gold made his cock jump. He tightened his hand and thrust into his fist sharply. Eyes closed, he moaned softly and climaxed his seed pumping through his fingers.
Sanzo woke, feeling toasty warm, which was a change from how he felt last night. He remembered feeling so cold that he had a hard time falling asleep. He was plagued by odd dreams of endless journeys and the fact that no one wanted to brush his hair…
and…and…there was a hard cock brushing against his groin.
It moved, sending delicious waves of pleasure through his body. He blinked in amazement.
His nose was buried in someone’s chest. It smelled like cinnamon…and smoky pine.
“Move like that again and you’ll die.” He cocked the hammer back on his weapon.
There was another hard cock pressed up against his ass.
“Please, like it’s for you! Most NORMAL guys wake up this way, droopy eyes.” Gojyo snorted and rolled over. Sanzo tried to jump up but found his legs tangled with Goku’s and the blankets.
Goku grumbled and snatched at the blankets that fluttered letting in cold air before the irate monk finally freed himself.
“Get up, we’re going.” Sanzo snapped nudging the cocooned figures with his foot. He was trying to figure out just when during the night he had lost his sanity and why he felt so weak. He wasn’t about to ask a certain someone what happened. He could just imagine what fun Gojyo would have with that.
“But what about breakfast?” Concerned that the most important meal of the day would be missed, Goku looked around for back up. Gojyo was up, relaxing with his morning cigarette and generally getting in Sanzo’s way. No help there.
Hakkai? Goku whipped around. He was gone.
“Hakkai! Hurry up!” Goku wailed loudly, hoping the calm voice of the chi master would soothe Sanzo into a more leisurely departure. Right now the monk was busy throwing their belongings into the jeep rather haphazardly.
Snatches of “asshole”, “idiots” and “morons” drifted behind Sanzo as he stomped around the campsite. For the first time he was actually doing the work himself.
Gojyo chuckled, he could clear this up with a few words but it was just too funny to watch Sanzo on his high horse.
The guy was acting like a scared virgin with his first hard on. Oh yes, that was a stiff piece that Gojyo felt under the blankets and it wasn’t his banishing gun. He actually liked waking up to Sanzo curled against his chest, especially when the blond had twitched and moaned softly. He grinned and wondered how long it was going to take Hakkai to finish taking a shit in the woods.
Hakkai shuddered and pulled his pants up. He wiped off his hands, hoping that he wouldn’t be blushing too much when he returned to his friends.
Yes, things were definitely changing among the four of them.
