" Where do you think your going?" asked Sekment as he brought a whip against a girl's back. "Maybe a better punishment will teach you a lesson." he added. He turned to the guard next to him. "Bring her parents here." he said as he dragged the girl to a pillar and tyed her to it. The guard returned a few minutes later with her parents. Her aquamarine eyes widen and watched Sekment unsheathe his sword and touched the edge to both her parents shoulders. They screamed in agony. "STOP!PLEASE!" She screamed as tears streamed down her face. Sekment turned back to her. "Just for that I'll end their lives maybe next time you'll learn not to escape or give me orders." he said before sticking his sword in both their hearts."NOOOOOOO!" she screamed before letting her head fall in dispair. "Leave her there for tonight so she can let the reality sink in and maybe...she'll learn that I am in control and no one else." he said before leaving the weeping girl to mourn over her parents. She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder and turned. It was Sam an old childhood friend. "Maybe now is a good time to leave. There is a group of boys that can defeat Sekman.I can stop him from doing this to another family. Now GO!" he said pushing her to the door. The girl took on last look at her parents dead bodies then fled the mansion.
She didn't know how long she had been running but she could feel her lungs burning and could see black dots dance around her vision.'Can't pass out now. Have to go just a little bit further.' she thought as she continued to run. She turned onto a dark dirt road and tripped over a fallen tree branch. She didn't have the strength to get back up and fell into the black oblivion of sleep.
