(A Trinity Blood/ Descendents of Darkness Crossover)

As I was writing fan fics for each of these series, I was asking myself the question; What if I combine these two? A few great writers has done this (especially Darkephoenix---love your work). Well, I’m going to give it a shot. This will be my first. Also, my grammar stinks so bear with me.
PS…I’m a romantic and love happy endings. So you’ve been warned.
Chapter 1
Cain Nightlord was not in the best of moods. The defeat was complete. Everything was going according to his master plan. The world was within his grasp. The Vatican was in total chaos thanks to the explosives his associates planted within the walls of the city-state. His sister’s empire was going through internal conflict thanks again to a few associates planted in the ranks of the court. His troops were slowly taking over Albion which includes the ghettos of Londonia. All he needed was the one key to make it all come together. That plan was very simple. Capture his brother, have Issack alter his mind instead of taking over his body, and have him go to 100% cruznick form to wipe out all the undesirables. And when that was finished, he would claim his brother as his true soul mate. He should have attended to his brother when he arrived instead of going out to finalize the attack plans. He never imagine that a AX battle robot with human emotions would come and actually take his brother from his hands. And to make things worse, said brother along with sister, the Vatican, and all of Albion destroyed everything leaving his organization in pieces. They have won. He knew it. There will be peace until the humans decide to eliminate different species again. For now, he will get what is rightfully his. He will spend all of his time and effort to obtain that which has eluded him for almost 1000 years.
“So close and yet so far”, purred a soft voice that had a tinge of evil.
“Show yourself you coward!” yelled Cain as he rose from his seat in his office. He senses a very strong amount of power filling the room. It was strong enough to rival his and even might surpass his in a fight. There was a bright light approaching as Cain shielded his eyes. When he was able to see, he was in total awe. Standing before him was a man with short silver hair that shines like the moonlight and steel-colored eyes that can pierce the soul. Not only does this man was wearing a most exquisite white suit and trench coat but had huge white wings.
“Who are you”, asked Cain trying not to show his nervousness towards this stranger.
“Who me? Someone who can help you get what you truly desire. True happiness with your true love”, responded the stranger as the white wings folded into the body. Smiling, he went up to the cruznick. “Introductions are in order. Muraki Kazutaka. Let’s just say that I’m not quite human.”
“Cain Nightlord. I’m not human in any sense of the word. So, how will you help me?”
“You have tried almost everything to detain your brother and always came up short. Your situation is similar to mines in every way.”
“So, you have a problem with getting what you want.”
“Yes. It gets pretty frustrating knowing that you have them and in the next minute, they’re snatched from your hands.”
“I know the feeling. So I repeat my question. How will you help me?”
“Quite simple. I will capture your younger twin brother.”
”I see. So what is your payment for this impossible task?”
“Nothing much. For payment I require you to capture a certain shinigami for me.”
Cain had to think for a moment. If he couldn’t get his brother, this powerful stranger will have less success. Then, it dawn on him. It can work out for both parties.
“I see your reasoning in this arrangement and I will accept your offer. I will add an amendment to this contract.”
“Which is?”
“That we become partners. For I see that our goals are quite similar.”
“That they are. We shall share everything and hold nothing back. Are you prepared for such a commitment?”
“I am. Let the agreement commence. So tell me. How will we seal this contract?”
Giving a smile that can captivate any person; Muraki came up and placed his lips on top of the cruznick. This caught Cain off guard but when his tongue explored Muraki’s mouth, he was amazed at how similar it was to his brother. It was very intoxicating. Muraki was savoring the kiss as his tongue stroke Cain in pure passion. It was like kissing his beloved shinigami; so soft and delicious. When they parted the two smiled.
“Your kiss is exquisite”, purred Muraki. “Just like my Asato.”
“And yours is so delicious”, moan Cain. “Just like my Abel.”
“And thus the contract is made. You will obtain Asato Tsuzuki…” grin Muraki.
“While you capture Father Abel Nightroad”, smile Cain.
“I’m tempted to say an old movie phrase.”
“Me too if it’s what I think it is”.
The two laughed as the spoke together.
“I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”*
* This famous last line came from the movie Casablanca. Humphrey Bogart spoke these words to Claude Rains as two so-called enemies become the best of friends with a common goal.
