Chapter 10
YuukiSan: Here is the second update for today. This is the Chapter the prolonged the updating. NinjaMouse\'s muse died on her.
NinjaMouse: That and the fact you wouldn\'t stop bugging me to finish the Chapter!
YuukiSan: Well I was threatend by Kyatto who was going to stalk me and pelt me with leeks!

Chapter 10
The next morning, Yuki woke up even more slowly then usual. He still couldn’t believe that Tohru had ended everything out of nowhere. The dazed nezumi rolled over and looked at his clock.
12:45
Shigure must have told everyone to let him sleep, which Yuki appreciated, considering he had gotten very little sleep during the night.
The gray haired youth pulled off his covers and stumbled out of bed. He grabbed the first clothes his hands contacted, for once not caring what he looked like.
Yuki walked downstairs in search of food. However, once he entered the kitchen all thought of food quickly fled his mind.
There stood Kyou with his back turned to Yuki and staring out the window. The nezumi stood in the doorway, fists clenched at his sides, anger welling up inside him.
Then without realizing, he screamed.
“BAKA NEKO!”
Kyou turned, wondering what the damn rat was screaming at him for this time. He only managed a quarter turn before Yuki’s fist met his face.
“What the fuck?!” Kyou yelled as he started blocking Yuki’s moves.
“YOU STOLE HER FROM ME!” Yuki screamed as he attempted to kick the neko in the stomach.
“What the hell are you talking about?!” asked Kyou as he moved out of the nezumi’s reach.
“YOU STOLE HER FROM ME! TOHRU LEFT ME FOR YOU!”
“She what…” Kyou paused for a moment, which resulted in Kyou getting kicked in the groin.
As he landed on all fours Yuki kicked him in the stomach making Kyou roll on his back. As tears stung his eyes, Kyou flipped onto his feet straight into a fighting stance.
“Yuki listen, I never thought I’d say this, but I’m not going to fight you. Not when I know what you’re going through. I felt the same way when Tohru said she chose you,” Kyou said calmly, trying to soothe his enraged and heartbroken cousin.
It didn’t work. In fact it only made it worse.
“No you DON’T! You have no idea how I feel. I gave her everything I had. EVERYTHING! She told me she’d always love me. And you stole that from me, BAKAYARO!” With that Yuki charged at Kyou.
The redhead waited until the last minute and then stepped aside, his gray haired cousin collided with the wall.
“She’s only sixteen Yuki. So are we. Who knows what’s going to happen in the next couple of years. Did you honestly thing that she’d never leave you? I mean look at Shigure. He’s eleven years older then us and he’s still alone.”
“What about Hatori?”
“Yeah and look how wonderfully that one turned out. He had to erase Kana’s memory.”
This didn’t exactly have the effect Kyou had been hoping for. Instead of making Yuki think normally, it enraged him…even further.
“I’m not going to loose her to YOU!” the nezumi screamed.
It was at that moment the neko realized there was only one way to stop Yuki, and that was physically.
As Yuki sent every punch and kick he could think of Kyou’s way, the cat backed out of the kitchen and into the main room. Kyou ended up getting eye contact with Shigure and sent him a look that clearly said, “HELP!” This resulted in Shigure scrambling from the room.
A few moments later Kyou could hear the inu on the phone.
Probably called Hatori. Good, Yuki’s going to need him, Kyou thought as he drove an uppercut into Yuki’s jaw.
“Haa-san I need you to come over here NOW! Kyou-kun and Yuki-kun are fighting!” Shigure screamed into the phone.
“So,” came Hatori’s calm almost monotone voice.
“No you don’t understand, Kyou’s actually winning!”
“Nani?!”
A crash was heard in the background at that moment.
“Kyou-kun if you’re going to kick Yuki-kun through the door would you please open it first…ok that didn’t sound right.”
“I’ll be right over,” came Hatori’s answer.
Hatori made it over to Shigure’s in record time. Haru had heard of the fight and had insisted on coming. Hatori didn’t really have the time to argue and agreed, thinking that if worse came to worse, Haru could help by distracting Kyou.
When Hatori arrived at the house, he found Shigure who was beside himself. There was also a large hole in the door leading to the backyard, which they could see Kyou pummeling a hardly conscious Yuki.
Hatori, Shigure, and Haru all ran into the backyard to break up the fight. Shigure put Kyou in a full nelson and Hatori placed himself between the cat and the motionless body of the rat on the ground, while Haru dropped to Yuki’s side.
“That’s ENOUGH, Kyou!” stated the dragon forcefully.
“He started it!” Kyou yelled fighting against Shigure’s hold.
Kyou suddenly came back to his senses and saw his cousin’s still body on the ground. As the inu let go of Kyou he stood there staring and Yuki in disbelief.
He had finally won.
