"Mmmm, what you speak of isn't uncommon." Wei begins after Lee had explained the problem at hand to him. "How attracted is your magic to hers?"
"I've found myself blushing around her when she is near." Lee explains.
"What do you feel from your own magic when this happens?" Wei questions. Lee thinks for a moment trying to remember how his magic was feeling every time his was near hers.
"I think...,it feels as if it wants to protect her." Lee hesitantly answers.
"I suggest to you that you don't fight those urges from your magic. Forcing yourself to go against your magic could weaken it in the long run." Wei explains.
'That makes sense. It would be like fighting myself and my magic is the only thing I can use to protect myself from the cards.' Lee ponders. "I guess you're right. If I waste time fighting my magic's need to protect Sakura, I might find myself injured by a card." Lee sighs out. He didn't like it, but the explanation made too much sense not to be correct.

"Thanks you guys, I needed this." Rita says as she, Sakura, and Madison perused the shop they were in a few days later.
"Hey, we know how much you hate Mr. Terada's spelling tests." Madison comments.
"Oooh, I like this one." Rita says holding up a broach that had a sword emblazoned on it. "Maybe Wulf will like it."
'Oh no, if that's a card...,no, I'm just over sensitive to the magic the cards put out. Maybe one of the cards touched it.' Sakura thinks trying to reason away what her senses were telling her. "Hey, why don't we go to my house and study together for the spelling test." Sakura suggests and the other girls agree readily.

The three girls sit in the living room, tea and pudding in front of each of them, begin to go over the list of words that would be on the test. Unbeknownst to them, Kero was watching them from the shadows. He was eyeing the broach that Rita was wearing. If his suspicions were correct, that was the sword card. And as Kero feared, the card's on persona took over Rita's mind and she began to attack the other two girls with the magical blade.
"Sakura! That's the sword card! It's one of the most dangerous cards in the entire book!" Kero shouts as Sakura and Madison manage to get themselves outside the house.
"I noticed!" Sakura shouts using jump to get out of the way. Madison, always prepared, pulls out her camera and begins to film the fight.
"The card is challenging you. You've got to fight her." Kero explains.
"I can't hurt her, Kero!' she replies avoiding another slash.
"It doesn't matter Sakura, the card is challenging you!" Kero cries out. The sword card possessed Rita attacks again, but sword meets another sword.
"Lee!" Sakura shouts.
"You know how to use that thing like that?" Kero asks incredulously.
"Stuff it stuffed animal!" Lee shouts blocking another attack. "Sakura, I know you don't want to do it, but you've got to fight her. If you don't the sword card will keep using her to hurt other people." Lee growls. He continues to block Rita's attacks, but eventually, the sword catches him cutting into his robes at the upper arm and Lee hits the ground hard.
"Lee!" Sakura shouts and runs over to him. The mage winces in pain from that attack.
"That card...,is too...,skilled for me...," Lee pants out. Sakura was checking over the shallow wound the sword had given him.
'Darn it! There has to be a way to stop her...,I know!' "Illusion, display the one thing that Rita fears...Illusion, release and dispel!" Sakura cries.
"Good thinking Sakura." Kero applauds. The Illusion card turns into Mr. Terada holding a spelling test. Rita's natural fear comes to the surface and she drops the sword.
"Sword card, return to your power confined!" Sakura shouts slamming the staff on the blade and the card is re-sealed and floats into Sakura's hand. She signs it and quickly goes back to Lee. "Madison, make sure Rita is ok, I'm going to clean up Lee's wound."
"Right," Madison says stopping her camera and going over to the dazed Rita.

'Oh boy...,c'mon Lee...,keep that blush under control!' Lee berates himself. His robes were open and most of his upper body was exposed as Sakura cleaned and tended to Lee's cut. Feeling the bandage taped on, Lee puts back on his robes. "Thanks," he quietly mumbles.
"It's the least I could do to thank you for helping me, Lee." Sakura states looking into his eyes. 'What is wrong with me? Don't I have feeling for Julian?' she asks herself.
"I better go before your father and or brother get back." Lee states breaking Sakura out of her thoughts.
"Oh...,oh! Yeah, right." Sakura says now blushing herself. Lee smiles to himself. It was now her turn to blush. Hopefully, the rest of the deck wouldn't end with her patching him up.
