Hybrid Birth
Alyria lets out a high pitched yelp as she feels the first of her litter moving through the birth canal and her instincts as a mother tell her to bear down and push the pup out. She follows her instincts, blinded to everything else including Rei walking into the room to make sure there are no complications. She delivers the second pup with no issues, but the third pup is the largest and facing the wrong way. Alyria howls in pain and snaps her jaws as Rei moves in to help her. Alyria’s tail lashes at the ground as her eyes glow a pale blue threat at her adoptive father. She does not recognize him in her current state, everything but the instinct of motherhood lost to her. She turns and snarls, a deep and low threat at the human male as he positions her so he can reach the pup still trapped within her. Alyria keeps growling, her jaws dripping what could only be a mild poison fang. She’s intent on protecting her litter at all costs and moves to bite Rei, but as she does, she feels the pressure telling her to push again and lies back down, letting out a small hiss as she brings her last pup into the world.
Alyria growls as Rei backs out of her room, letting Storm know that he’s now the father of three pups. The offspring are pups, fully canine Pokémon. The two born without complications are fully formed females, one Riolu, and one Suicune, the largest of the litter, the male, is a Suicune. Alyria looks at her female Suicune pup and thinks one word, the translating collar on her neck giving the thought voice, “This one’s name will be Luna.” The Riolu female is curled into a ball, the other two pups nuzzling to Alyria’s breast to feed their first meal. Alyria murrs softly as her pups feed from her, cutting off the contented sound as she spots the door opening.
The hybrid mother bristles, howling out a string of “Cario, Lu Lu Lucario!” The collar saying what her mouth no longer can, “Stay away from my babies!” Storm pokes his head in, murring softly at his mate and dropping a freshly killed Linoone at her feet before whimpering and rolling onto his back to show he is not a threat. Alyria bares her fangs at her mate before snapping at the offered meal, knowing her mate is for now doing his job of supporting her and the newborn pups.
a/n: yes I know this chapter is painfully short, I'm not good at birthing scenes, more gore than most deaths I write.....Anyway, I have a life now and rather enjoy living it, so my writing takes longer than it used to. I will keep updating though. ^_^
