Chapter Eleven
Chapter Eleven – Revenge Is Sweet
Shuichi (POV)
I woke up at about 5pm, which was fine as I wasn’t planning on leaving until about 7pm, when it would be fully dark. It was so good to be wrapped in Yuki’s arms once again. Getting up, I make my way into the bathroom and take a shower.
Walking back into the bedroom, I put on my normal clothes and then I slip on the black jeans and black jumper I bought on top, along with the plain black trainers. The black gloves I put in my pocket for later. I put the balaclava and the gun, complete with the silencer, in a small black bag. I also put the pictures of my sister in, along with my trusty fishing knife.
Okay, I was ready. Sitting down I light a cigarette, and watch Yuki, who was still sleeping. I really needed a drink to calm my nerves, maybe a joint as well, but I didn’t want to take anything to impair my judgement. I need a clear head for what I was about to do.
I wonder if anyone’s found Ma-kun yet. The guilt I feel is nearly overwhelming, but I push it away. The time for guilt will come when my mission is complete. Fucking hell, I sound like a spy or something. I snort at that ridiculous thought.
I look over at Yuki when I hear the bed squeak. He opens his eyes and looks at me.
“Where are you going?” He asks.
“You already know the answer to that.” I say, my eyes never leaving his.
He nods his head and gets up, picking his clothes up off the floor.
“I’m coming with you.” He says as he slips his clothes on.
“No, I want to do this on my own.” I say, getting angry.
“Tough, I’m coming. I can drive you. Then whenever we get to your destination, I’ll let you do it alone. I’ll just be your driver.”
I sigh and turn away from him. I guess letting him drive me wont hurt, but when the task is completed, will I be able to look him in the eyes?
“Fine.” I answer, still not looking at him.
--
When we arrived in Yokohama, it didn’t take us very long to find the house Taki is staying at. It’s a small house near Yamashita Park, which is convenient.
“Okay, stay here. I’ll be back when I’m done.”
He pulls me towards him and holds me.
“Be careful.”
I kiss him softly, then pick up my bag and get out of the car. I stop outside of Taki’s house and put the balaclava over my head. Taking out the gun, I walk round the back of his house and knock on the back door.
He opens the door warily and as soon as I see his face, I unleash all my anger. I push him back into the house and hit him over the head with the gun. He falls to the floor unconscious.
I know I have to be quick, so I get to work.
--
When he regains consciousness, he’s tied to a tree in Yamashita Park. He’s in the same position as my sister was. He struggles, but I made sure I gagged him. I don’t want him to make any noise and alert anyone.
“Long time no see.” I greet him.
He turns around and his eyes widen. I’ve taken off the balaclava. I smirk at him, his expression is priceless. I wish I could take my time and really make him suffer, but I can’t get caught.
With the knife in my hand I advance on my prey. I laugh as he struggles.
“Did my sister struggle when you killed her?” I ask.
He sags as he realises he can’t get away.
I smirk cruelly for a second, before the anger completely takes me over. My grip on the knife tightens as I move closer to the bastard who murdered my sister. I rip open his shirt, and put the knife to his chest, pressing enough to make a small cut.
“I’m going to make you wish you never met me.” I say, fury in every word. What I do next can be very easily explained. I cut him. I didn’t make one little cut, I made long, deep, painful cuts. Cuts that would leave huge scars, if he was going to live, which he wasn’t.
I carve some words onto his chest and arms. Bastard. Murderer. Worthless. I slash the skin on his arms, watching the blood drip down to the ground. It suddenly occurs to me that I should hurry, and that the bastard isn’t bleeding quickly enough. I take out the gun, and point it at his head.
He looks up at me, eyes filled with pain and tears.
“You should have known I’d get you in the end. You should have known killing my sister would have damned you to this.”
He whimpers, quickly closing his eyes. I tighten my grip on the gun, and pull the trigger. The bullet sinks straight into the bastard’s black heart. As he twitches, I lower the gun, my face expressionless.
I quickly stripped off all of my black clothing, used the jumper to wipe the blood of the knife, and put everything in the black bag. I took one last look at the bastard, then turned and walked away.
I don’t know what emotions I feel right now. I walk back to Yuki’s car and get in the passenger seat. I don’t look at him. He starts the car and begins driving back.
