Wond And Snow

A/N: Once again...Yin this is so for you. One more thing, try writing with a tiny fuzzy pointy A sexual kitten on your arm and you will appreciate this a lot more. One thing, this will seem way weird at the beginning, just stay with it and it will all come together.

One not so bliss fill year later...

Nuriko and Tasuki....

“Tasuki get up!” Nuriko threw a pillow at his lovers head. It hit the tangled mass of fire orange hair and rolled off onto the floor, “TASUKI! Come on! We have to get there on time!”

“Mmmm. Five more minutes.”

“NO!” Nuriko marched over to the bed and smacked Tasuki square in the head, “I will not give you anymore time! I WAS ABLE TO GET UP EARLY! ME!!! Now you HAVE to too or I am with holding sex for a month!”

Tasuki sprang out of bed and bounded over to the dresser. He threw his clothes on in record time, brushed his sloppy hair and wheeled around to flash Nuriko a cocky fanged grin, “Ready!” He announced.

Nuriko shook his and walked out of the room, “Come on Tasuki! We have to be there 5 minutes ago!”

Tasuki bolted down the stairs and threw an arm over his lover’s shoulders, “Sorry I over slept.”

“You better be or I will kick your ass,” Nuriko said as he and Tasuki left their tiny apartment they bought a few months ago.

“Yeah ya’ will. Look they won’t even notice we’re late,” Tasuki offered.”

“It’s not that I’m worried they’ll notice Tasuki, it’s just polite to be there on time for something like this.”

Tasuki looked down at the snow-covered ground as they walked to their car, “Yeah...yer right. For something like this, I shoulda gotten up on time.

Chiriko and Chichiri...

The wind nipped at their faces and Chiriko and Chichiri walked down the tree covered path. The snow had begun to fall again and the whole town looked like a postcard. Chichiri held Chiriko close to him as the trudged through the deep snow and the path began to twist through the ever-thickening trees.

“This is going to be really hard,” Chiriko said in a small voice.

Chichiri tighten his hold on his small lover, “Yeah it will be noda,” Chichiri’s voice was filled with hurt, “But not as hard as it is for him right now.”

“That’s who I was talking about,” Chiriko cast his eyes at the ground, “How could all this happen in such a short time?”

“I don’t know Chiriko. But some good things came from it.”

Chiriko looked back up at Chichiri, “Only a few. But the things gained are nothing compared to the things lost.”

Korin and her mum....

Korin bounded down the stairs and ran into the kitchen, “We have to hurry mum! We’ll be late!”

“Are you sure you want to go?” He mother asked, looking up from her fourth cup of coffee.

“We can’t just NOT go!” Korin looked horrified, “He needs us ALL there. No one can stay home today mum.”

“You’re right honey. Come on, let’s go.”

“It will all be okay right mum?” Korin asked as they headed out side.

“I hope so honey. I hope so.”

All of them....

Nuriko and Tasuki walked hand in hand toward the cemetery gates. They were late, though neither one thought anyone would notice. They walked slowly up the paths and glanced at the gravestones and memorials lining the sides of the paths. They walked up a few more slopping hills before they saw anyone.

Chiriko waved at his brother when he saw him walking over a small hill. Chichiri waved too, one arm still wrapped around Chiriko’s shoulders.

“Mornin’!” Nuriko called, the wind catching his voice.

“Hey,” Chiriko called back, “Are we late?”

“I think so!” Nuriko yelled making sure his little brother heard him over the blowing wind. Nuriko and Tasuki slowly walked toward Chiriko and Chichiri, bracing themselves against the wind.

“Which way is it again?”

“I think it’s just up that hill and to the left!” Chiriko pointed to the hill behind him.

“Let’s go!” Tasuki joined in, tired of standing still in the deadly cold.

“Yeah!” They all agreed and started walking up the slightly larger hill.

“WAIT FOR US!” A voice whipped through the wind.

“Korin?” Nuriko turned his head to see his mum and little sister run toward them. Korin had a hand on a felt hat and was holding her mothers hand, pulling her up the path.

“Come on!” Korin charged ahead of them, her mother being pulled behind her, “We are late!”

They all obediently followed Korin up the hill, eyes squinting and faces red from the non-stopping wind and snow.

At The Grave...

When the all got to the right place they could see a figure with windblown chestnut brown hair in a black coat hunched over a gravestone holding flowers. He was covered in snow and appeared to be freezing cold, like he was read to just ice over and stay that way forever.

The whole group walked slowly forward, not wanting to disturb Him. Korin walked further then the others so he could read the gravestones.

Hotohori put flowers at Tama’s grave and whisper, “I could have help you if you had told me,” before standing up and turning to the others. Tears fell down his face and he smiled the saddest smile in the world, “Thanks for coming.”

“He really loved you Hotohori,” Nuriko said softly, his voice hurt from having to yell through the wind and he was choked with sorrow.

“Really? Then why didn’t he tell me when he started seeing her again? Why didn’t he tell me she was talking to him, telling hi did didn’t love me, telling him he was nothing, he should die? Why didn’t he say he needed me to help him?” The tears wouldn’t stop falling from Hotohori’s eyes.

“Because he loved you,” Korin piped in, “He loved you and still does love you even if he’s gone! He didn’t want you to think for a moment that he didn’t love you.”

“Then why did he do it?” Hotohori barked, hurt and anger flashing through his eyes, “Huh? Why did he jump off a roof into traffic? Why did he kill himself if he loved me?”

Korin took a step back and stayed silent. She had no answer for him.

Hotohori turned from the others and ran off down a random path. He didn’t know where he’d go; he just had to run away.

“Stop running Hotohori!”

He stopped, “Who said that?” He clenched his fists at his side, not wanting an answer. He knew that voice.

“Turn back. They are your friends Hotohori. They want to help you.”

“No one can now Tama. No one can do anything. No one can bring YOU back. That’s all I need.”

“You’re right. No one can bring me back. I’m gone and that’s it. However, you’re wrong, you can be helped. Go back to them and they will help you. You need friends now Hotohori. You need them more then you know.”

“I just want to know why you left me. Why I wasn’t enough for you. Why you had to let her ruin you.”

“I ruined myself Hotohori. I let her into my mind, I let myself be blamed. I’m the only one at fault here. Forgive me for leaving you. I love you Hotohori and one day we can be together again. Until then, you have to go on and let yourself be helped and be loved by your friends.”

“Don’t go,” Hotohori closed his eyes against and clenched his fists tighter, his nails digging into his palms, “Don’t go.”

“I have to Hotohori. I love you. Goodbye!”

“NO!” Hotohori opened his eyes and wheeled around looking for Tama.

Nevertheless, it was too late.

Hotohori stood there as the snow fell around him and cried.

10 minutes later....

Hotohori emerged from a cluster of snowy white trees, face wet and palms a little bloody. He slowly walked over to his friends and fell to the ground. Nuriko, Tasuki and Chichiri hoisted him up and held him.

“Let’s get him out of here,” Nuriko said.

“Help me,” Hotohori whispered, “don’t leave me alone.”

“It’s okay Hotohori, we’ll make sure everything turns out okay,” Korin said, “We’ll help.

A/N: End. Unless no one likes this then I will rewrite it. But...end.
