Ken sighed happily safely wrapped in Ran\'s arms while his lover slept. He liked watching his koi sleep though he didn\'t get to do so because he was normally the first one asleep and the last one up but he slept this afternoon so he didn\'t need to sleep now. Ran felt Ken sigh as the warm water relaxed any pain he knew his lover as feeling. Ken smiled and kissed his lover breathless. He smiled softly and snuggled into warm loving arms feeling totally safe and complete. He smiled and kissed his lover as sleepy brown eyes fluttered closed. He smiled and joined his lover in slumber.

Kai bit her lip and knocked on Ran\'s door. The house was rather quiet because every one was down stairs getting breakfast. She poked her head in the door keeping her eyes closed. \"What is it Kai?\" Came the smooth voice she knew as the redhead\'s. \"Do you two want to come down for breakfast? If you do better get down there now or the chow hounds will eat it all.\" There was a soft sigh and she opened her eyes looking at the two cuddled on the bed. \"Awe you two look all cute and stuff. Should I just bring you up something?\" One of Ken\'s eyes opened and the brunet grinned. \"I would love you forever.\" She smiled and shook her head. She was such a softy. She closed the door quietly and rushed down the stairs gathered the food and rushed back up opening the door slowly and setting the tray on the nightstand.

Ken grinned and grabbed the grapes and nodded to his friend who was standing oddly in the room. He frowned and looked at his lover then at his friend. \"Something wrong Kai?\" The girl sucked in a deep breath and looked him dead in the eye and pulled out a camera snapping a picture and running the hell out of the room slamming the door. \"That was odd.\" He shook his head and kissed his love then shoved a few grapes in his mouth. \"Yup.\" His lover frowned at him and squished his puffy grape filled cheeks. \"Eat slowly.\" He grinned and swallowed and took one grape and held it to his lover\'s lips that opened instantly. \"What ever you say my ice princess.\" He giggled at the glare then yelped as he was pinched on the thigh. \"Bad kitten.\" He stuck out his bottom lip so it was trembling slightly and his eyes filled with tears. \"What did I do?\" He had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing at the panicked looked his lover was giving him.

Ran almost swallowed his own tongue as his lover\'s bottom lip trembled and big brown eyes became liquid with unshed tears. He pulled the boy close and kissed him gently. Ken shivered slightly and pulled the blankets closely around him searching for the warmth of his lover. Chocolate eyes fluttered open when he found no love only cold silk. He sat up and looked around spotting the dimly lit moon reflect off of pure white skin and deep crimson hair showing his lover to be the creature he really was, a creature completely urethral and as magical as an unicorn dancing in the pale lonely moon. \"No. I was just thinking.\"

\"About?\"

\"Us.\"

\"That made you sad?\"

\"Yes.\"

\"How?\"

\"Do you not love me?\"

\"I love you with all my heart and soul. That is what made me sad.\"

\"Loving me made you sad?\"

\"No the thought of lousing you made me sad. The though lousing the one I so dearly love made me sad and afraid. I don\'t want to be alone again Ken but I don\'t want to turn you because there is so much pain and loneliness that go along with it. You know you are going to meet people and they will die and it\'s just sad. Being immortal is a sad lonely life but you came and took my loneliness away. I swore to myself I would never fall in love but I did.\"

\"Ran I\'m willing to deal with lousing people as long as I don\'t lose you. It may hurt to lose my friends but I would die if I lost you. I won\'t leave you Ran, I told you I would have someone else turn me if I needed to.\"

\"Would you really become a vampire for me?\"

\"In a heartbeat.\"

\"Do you love me that much?\"

\"With out a doubt.\"

\"I love you Ken.\"

\"I love you too Ran. Lets go back to bed I\'m sleepy.\"
Ran nodded and walked with his lover back to the bed where they curled into one another. \"I had a dream you died and I asked to be buried in the casket with you and my body slowly rotted away and I died but you were still so perfect.\" Ken looked at his lover and sighed deeply. \"That\'s a morbid dream.\" He nodded and pulled his lover in for a kiss. Ken kissed back lightly and then snuggled into him. He smiled and yawned nuzzling his nose into apple scented chocolate tresses and smiled holding both of his lover\'s hands and drifting off to sleep.
