Pain and Panic
The tie subsides and Alyria pulls away from her mate, nuzzling him like a Pokémon again. Her form has changed again, not as drastically as before, but enough that she needs a translator to speak.
She attaches the silk scarf with her translator to her neck and growls softly, her voice coming through.
“I hate being a hybrid. Stupid form changes, stupid translator.” She growls as she and her mate walk out the door, just as Luna and Judge walk into view. The young Suicune is bleeding from a gash in her hip where Judge’s claws ripped into her hide, her mane is matted with sweat and drool, and her tails are slightly torn, but the look on her face is nothing short of pleasure.
Alyria glares and growls at Judge, her now crimson eyes narrowed giving the hybrid mother a look that makes even Shadow whimper in fear. Luna steps in front of Judge, her ruby eyes staring down her mother’s. Alyria glares at her daughter, turning off her translator for the time being and talking to the Suicune in Pokéspeak.
“Luna, he hurt you. I should tear his throat out for such a crime on my daughter.” Alyria snarls, her entire body bristling with threatening energy. Her eyes shift to Judge, the Entei flattening himself against the ground in submission. Alyria growls and fires a Dark Pulse at the Legendary Dog, causing him to leap out of the way with a yelp. Luna runs after her mate, her paws like thunder upon the ground.
Shadow steps forward and nuzzles his enraged mate, a whimper sounding from his muzzle as Alyria’s eyes flash red again. The hybrid gives a soft sigh and turns the translator back on before curling up against her mate.
“I’m sorry Shadow, I kinda lost it didn’t I?” Alyria whispers, stretching out and wagging her tail against her mate’s foreleg. Shadow gives her a scolding look.
“Kind of? I thought you were going to kill him.” Shadow whispers, laughing softly as he and his mate nuzzle each other.
Outside, Luna and Judge are talking softly, the Entei cowering against an old Pecha tree. Luna walks up to the elder Legendary and licks his muzzle sweetly.
“Luna, I’ve been battling with Alyria since before she realized she was a hybrid, I was there when she was attacked by Firecry, when she defeated her first gym leader in the Kanto Region, and when she won against the Elite Four Champion of Johto. I have never seen her behave this way towards me. I am actually afraid of her, Luna.” Judge whispers softly as he watches the Suicune dance around him chasing her injured tails.
Luna stops suddenly as she sees a golden eyed Arcanine staring at her from the tree line. She opens her mouth to ask Judge who it is, but the words don’t come out as the Pokémon uses extremespeed and grabs her by the neck as he runs by. Luna shrieks as she’s grabbed and Judge has time to lift his head as his mate is carried off by the golden eyed dog.
