Ken held Kai's hair in a death grip while holding the blades of his weapon to her neck. He was exhausted and could hardly stand but he would have won and killed her if they were really fighting. They had all been up since four-thirty this morning and practicing since five. He wanted to sleep since he and Ran didn't do so the night before. "Nice job Ken." He nodded and released his friend sighing deeply. "Lets call it quits for today every one I'll make lunch." Every one sighed in relief and dropped their weapons loosely at their sides. He went over and slumped against his boyfriend who looked about as tired as he felt.

Every one went inside and sat down at the table. Ran flopped into Ken's lap and snuggled into the man he loved. He sighed deeply totally relaxed and drifting on the edge of sleep. Lunch was set on the table and they all went at it like ravenous dogs. He was now full and very sleepy. "Ready for a nap love?" Ken shook his head looking almost dead on his feet. "If I take a nap I won't sleep tonight and you'll have one very grumpy koi on your hands tomorrow." He smiled and nuzzled his lover's neck. "You didn't sleep much last night love. We'll take a short one I promise." His lover nodded as the room cleared every one going off to take a nap of their own. He took Ken's hand and led him to the room.

Ken striped off his cloths and hopped into the shower washing away the sweat and dirt. Ran slipped in behind him and they just stood for a while relaxing in the hot water. He sighed as the finished and dragged his body to the bed and flopped down curling into his love and drifting off to sleep almost instantly. Ran smiled at his sleeping love and pulled the blankets around then and kissed his lover's head and drifted into the sweet land of slumber.

It was late when Ken awoke. He looked at his soundly sleeping lover and smiled lightly. Ran was his and his alone. He kissed him lightly then crawled out of bed and pulled on some boxers. A snack would help him sleep some more. He quietly snuck through the silent house and opened the kitchen door and grabbed a snack then went into the library where his friend Kai was hunched over a computer. "Kai?" The girl looked up at him and a sad smile flickered over her lips. "What cha doin'?" The girl looked up at him again and sighed. "Running a grid of the city. We are close but still so far. Takatori was on the move once you escaped and my contacts lost sight of him and his clan a few were killed by the dark ladies." He blinked and sat next to his friend munching on his rice ball and muffin. "Who?" The girl didn't look up but stopped and sighed deeply. "Four very powerful vampires. You, Ran, Yohji, and Omi could take them but they are still dangerous. The trinity of Rozenkreuz is more dangerous though. Crawford, Nagi, Schu, and Farf will have to take them. I may have Manx and the other three girls take the dark ladies, they have some other odd German name but I can't think of it right now." He nodded watching the dim light flicker over his friend's lovely yet tired and puffy looking face. "You've been crying." The girl paused her work once more and nodded a little sadly. "Ronan broke it off with me. He is staying around because it's in his blood to hunt vampires. I hate immortals...no I don't I'm just bitter against one right now." He nodded sadly gently rubbing his friend's back.

Ran sat up and looked around for Ken and sniffed the air. No danger just silence and the sweet smell of his lover. He stood and slipped on a pair of pajama bottoms and headed down the stairs sniffing out his lover. He took the way to the library ditching the kitchen. He cracked open the door and saw his love and Yohji's odd sister. "Aya found out what happened to you Ken and told us. I'm sorry I wasn't there sooner or that I just didn't do something sooner. I know what rape is like so if you ever need a friend to talk to I'm always here." He saw his lover smile sadly and hug the girl. He slowly stepped in and walked across the room. "Ken why aren't you in bed?" Big brown eyes dimly illuminated by the laptop looked at him. "Couldn't sleep. I'll be up in a while." He sighed and flopped in his lap curling into him. "Come to bed now, I can't sleep with out you." The odd girl chuckled softly and looked at the clock. "Well you slept a good hour without him, I think you'll live." He glared and stuck his tongue out. He was any thing but mature when he was sleepy.

Ken smiled softly and continued to talk to his friend while his lover dozed on his chest. He let his fingers run through soft red hair and sighed deeply. "You two really are good for one another Ken." He looked at his friend who said the same thing about her own boyfriend. "I can tell with other people, like Yohji and Schuldich. I know I didn't get along with Schu at first but that was during a hard time for me. My parents didn't want me so my brother finished raising me. Yohji knows more about girls than he ever needs to. It was hard having some one else come in and take attention away from me but they are good for one another." He smiled softly and adjusted his boyfriend a little better on his lap. "Thanks Kai. Hay I helped raise you too." His lover grunted a little. "No wonder she is so odd." He chuckled, as did Kai. "Yeah well me and your sister have really bonded being raised by our older brothers." His lover grunted again. "Good now my sister is going to turn all odd." Kai laughed good-naturedly and gasped slightly then snickering evilly. "Found you!" Ken looked over and the girl grinned at him. "You found Takatori?" The girl nodded slightly hacking into their computer system. "I love wireless Internet so easy to hack into and track." The girl sat back and covered her tracks back to Kase's computer. "Alright now all we have to do is train and we'll be good to go in a few weeks." He smiled happily and nodded. "Better get more sleep then. Come love lets go." His lover grunted and he picked him up. "Night Kai." The girl nodded off doing something else.

Ran stared at the clock glaring death at the glowing numbers. He looked at Ken who started giggling. "You are so cute when you are trying to glare the alarm clock to death." He snorted and curled into his lover. "I don't want to get up." He felt Ken nod and hum lightly in the back of his throat. A slight knock came to the door and Yohji popped his head in. "Um there will be no training today and if there is it is on your own time because Kai collapsed from exhaustion." Ken sat up suddenly and looked at him then at the blond. "Is she ok?" The blond nodded. "Oh yeah Schu is trying to keep her in bed now. She is being a pain and trying to get up even though she can't stand so she's not too much trouble. So stay in bed you two." The both nodded and layback down he snuggled into his lover and sighed happily.

Ken sighed and looked at his lover who was gently stroking his stomach. He was up now and didn't want to stay in bed. "Let's go somewhere today Ran." His lover nodded and he grinned brightly. "Let's go to the park!" One violet eye cracked open and looked at him then a slight nod. He grinned and pounced his sleepy boyfriend. "Yeah!" Ran looked at him then at the clock. "Need another hour of sleep first kitten then we can go play in the park." He nodded happily and kissed the man deeply. "Kay but we have to stop by Yohji's house first and pick up some more of my cloths because I'm living off of what I've left here and Omi and Nagi have washed for me, I'll ask Yohji and Schu if they need anything." His boyfriend nodded and curled into him sighing happily. He grinned and kissed his lover deeply. "Ran I'm not sleepy." His lover grunted and nipped at his neck. "I am so settle down or I'm tying you to this bed." He grinned and nibbled and the tender ear. "Kinky." Ran grumbled and cuddled into him ignoring him.

Ken waited patiently for and hour and five minuets then got bored singing every song he knew and those he didn't. He probed his lover's ribs gently and the man grunted and snuggled into him. He wiggled out of the firm grasp and to the end of the bed where he crouched and pounced. "DAH!" He giggled and kissed his lover gently. "I gave you an hour love now get up." Ran groaned and curled into a ball. "Ten more minuets." He shook his head and started shaking the man. "Come on Ran get up I want to go play in the park and if you let me do that then when we get home I'll let you do what you want with me." One violet eye cracked open and he gave his best pleading looked. "Anything I want? Even cover you in caramel and chocolate and lick it off?" He nodded not fully sure what to say. "I'll even pay for the caramel and chocolate syrups and anything else you want." His lover bounced out of bed and into the closet getting ready for the day. He had to bribe his lover with sex to get his way. Well it could be worse.

Ran helped Ken shove his cloths in to a duffel bag and a few other things into a box then shoved them in the trunk of his car. "I'm hungry lets get breakfast. We haven't had a date in a while so lets call this a date." He nodded and pulled into a small café. They ordered a nice breakfast and he wanted to kill the waitress because she was flirting with his koi. Ken was his and that's all there was to it. The girl came back with his coffee and Ken's milkshake. Who could drink milkshakes a nine in the morning? Ken took a sip and licked his lips missing a bit of the chocolate substance. He leaned forward and gently licked his lover's lips. Their waitress froze then smiled slightly. A few minuets later they got their food. Ken got cherry stuffed pancakes and he got eggs. His koi was so cute eating happily like nothing else in the world mattered and nothing was wrong. He sighed and kissed his koi lightly. "We should get some cherries too." His love nodded smiling shyly.

Ken twined his fingers with Ran's as they walked along the park. The day was warm and sunny and the birds were singing happy little tunes. Today was perfect if it weren't for the lingering shadow of threat and possible death. He shook the dark thoughts from his head and leaned into his lover sighing contentedly. A gentle squeeze was applied to his hand and he smiled brightly. He was in love and nothing could spoil this second for him. He slyly grabbed his lover's waist and pulled him into a kiss. "I love you Ran." His lover nodded and nuzzled him gently. "KEN NII-CHAN!!" The pulled away from one another and looked at the heard of young kids running towards them.

Ran watched his koi get tackled buy ten or so young kids and hugged tightly. The soft smile his lover gave the young kids melted his heart. "Ken come play soccer with us." Big brown eyes looked at him and he nodded slightly. His love smiled and winked at him. "Ok but only for a bit." The kids nodded happily and dragged the smiling brunet off. He sat down on a bench and watched his lover run around the field smiling and laughing with the kids. An older lady sat next to him and smiled as a small boy waved at her. "It's good to see Ken back. All the kids have missed him. He's the little league coach. He's so good with the kids. I just hate Ken's boyfriend. That poor boy coming here with bruises and just smiling like nothing happened." He looked at the lady and sighed deeply. "I take it you are talking about Kase." The lady nodded glaring a bit at the name. "He's not dating him any longer and hasn't been for about a month." The lady looked at him and blinked. "How do you know that?" He shrugged slightly and smiled as his lover winked at him. "I'm dating Ken. I'm madly in love with him too. I've never met any one like him and he just makes me feel whole like he was the missing part of my soul. I know it sound cliché but it's true." The lady smiled and stood silently.

Ken grinned and patted the kids on the head thoroughly worn out. They had been playing for two hours and the kids never stopped for a second. "Go get water guys." All the kids nodded and he looked at his boyfriend who was surrounded by all the mothers he knew. He shook his head and walked over to the mothers and his lover. "Ken dear how are you we haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been? How come you didn't tell us you got such a handsome young boyfriend?" He smiled and shrugged slightly moving closer to the redhead. "He's been hording me away in his castle. No I've been busy and I bumped into some problems but they should be resolved soon so I'll be back in a month, hopefully, I'm also looking for an apartment so I can get out of Yohji's house." All the ladies nodded and smiled waving the two off. He grinned and flopped into Ran's lap. "Sorry I took so long." His lover smiled and whipped a few sweaty bangs from his face and kissed him gently. "I enjoyed watching you. The kids make you happy and you are so cute with the kids." He blushed and kissed his lover softly. "Shall we go to the store and pick up what we need." His lover smiled and kissed him.

Ran sat in the car for a while and sighed deeply looking at Ken. He didn't want to make love to night no matter how tasty a chocolate covered Ken sounded. "Ken let's just go home and cuddle. Unless you want to be covered in chocolate." His lover blushed crimson and he smiled gently nipping at his ear. "Have I told you how much I love you Ken?" His lover smiled and gently kissed him. "Not today." He smiled and pulled his lover closer deepening the kiss. "I love you more than anything." His lover grinned and kissed him deeply. A sly tongue slipped in his mouth and he moaned. He liked an aggressive Ken. He pulled his lover a bit closer and sighed happily. "Let's go home Ran." He nodded and threw the car into drive.

Ken lay there snuggled beneath his lover while they kissed and touched gently.
He grinned happily and gently nipped at his lover's ear. "I love you Ran." His love smiled and kissed him deeply. He loved every velvety soft touch and soft fluttering kiss. He loved to be loved. He sighed contentedly and slipped his tongue into the warm sweet mouth. His lover moaned and plundered his mouth with a feverish passion. "I love you Ken." He smiled and wrapped his arms loosely around his lover's neck and gently ran his hands through crimson tresses. "My Ran oh how I love thee." His lover smiled and kissed him gently then cuddled into him. "My Ken how I love thee." He grinned and hugged the man tightly.
