An Erasing Trip

"How long were we going to be gone again?" Josh asks loading up his bag on the luggage rack above them.
"A couple of days from what I can gather. There's supposed to be some test of courage ceremony done on the second night." Wulf explains putting his bag up next to Josh's.
"What is wrong with this school?" Josh asks himself setting himself down.
"Hey, I rather enjoy it." Wulf says smiling and sits besides Josh. The two boys then see Lee, Sakura, and Madison coming onto the bus followed by Nikki, Rita, Chelsea, and Zachary.
"You sure you can handle it?" Sakura asks Lee as not only did he have his own bag, but Sakura's as well.
"Don't worry...,I've got it." Lee states coming over to where the girls were going to sit.
"Thanks Lee," she says with a smile and Lee blushes. Wulf chuckles realizing that Lee probably had other motives for carrying Sakura's bag.
Joining us Lee?" Wulf asks.
"I'll be sitting with Rita and Nikki. Chelsea will be keeping an eye on Zachary." Madison says smiling to herself at her plan to get her friend with Lee. Sakura sits and Lee joins her. Wulf rolls his eyes realizing that Madison was trying to play matchmaker. So, maybe he and Josh could get that stone rolling. Five minutes into it though, Sakura falls asleep on Lee's shoulder.
"The subject's reaction to the female is visually noticeable." Josh comments as if he were examining a lab experiment.
"Blushing seems to be all he can do around her." Wulf adds.
"Not to mention the inability of the subject to say more than five words around her without blushing. I believe that we can conclude that the subject is extremely attracted to the female." Josh concludes.
"I'd quite agree." Wulf replies.
"Oh will the two of you just shut up." Lee hisses and the two boy snicker.

'I thought I felt something out here...,' Lee thinks walking around the beach at night. His magical senses hadn't let him go to sleep. 'There's a card out here but I don't know where it is.'
"Lee?"
Lee jumps a little hearing Sakura's voice. "Couldn't sleep?" he asks trying to quickly recover from not noticing that she was approaching.
"Nikki told another one of her scary stories again." Sakura explains and Lee rolls his eyes,. Spirits existed, but ghosts didn't. It was as simple as that.
"Don't let those stories scare you. You're a card captor." he says. "Chosen by that stuffed animal."
"Huh?"
"You were chosen by that stuffed animal. While he might not be much, he can spot talent when he sees it. You broke the seal and you were chosen by Kero. I was forced into this because of my lineage. I wasn't chosen nor did I break the seal on the Clow book."
"Do you hate me for that?" she asks in a small voice.
"No, I don't hate you for it. Destiny is on your side. I'm just a mage who when his father died was forced down a road by the elders of his family to be what they wanted." Lee lets out not realizing that he had just let it spill that his father was dead. He finds himself being hugged by Sakura which makes him blush yet again.
"Oh Lee, I didn't know...,I didn't realize the pressures that you might be under from your family."
"It's ok, you couldn't have known. Even that stuffed animal couldn't have known. The elders would rather me compete with you for the cards. My mother, on the other hand, for some reason told me to help you and that's what I'm doing. I think so far my mother was right. Besides, my mother isn't one to disobey."
"Sounds like Madison's mom." Sakura comments. "If your mother is back at home, then who do you live with."
"Wei, the family butler." Lee states. "He's been training me since I was four.
"Butler?" Sakura asks and Lee blushes realizing that she didn't know that his family was quite well off.
"Yes, we are....,'secure'." Lee retorts.
"Why were you out here in the first place?" Sakura asks quickly changing the subject.
"I felt a card from the cave, but now it's gone." Lee answers.
"A card?"
"Yeah, we'll just have to wait until it shows itself to capture it." Lee states. "C'mon, we better get back to our cabins before we are caught out here."

"There doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary in this cave." Josh comments as he and Wulf make there way through the cave carrying the candle.
"It'll be quite uneventful...," Wulf starts, the Drumhilde male confidence showing itself, but the pair hear screams coming up ahead. "On the other hand, let's go see what is going on."

"Listen, there are no ghosts. Now, we've got to cross this pool of water and get to the other side. If we don't get to the erase card soon, everyone will be gone for good." Lee says as he grips her shoulders and looks into her green eyes willing her to understand. It seems to work as he sees the strength lighting her eyes.
"Float?"
"Float." Lee affirms and the float is released and the two cross over to where Erase was awaiting them. The two don't realize that Josh and Wulf had been hot on their heels. "What in the world?" Josh says seeing the Float card depositing Lee and Sakura on the other side of the pool of water.
"Mmmm, I think our two love birds are a lot more than they appear to be." Wulf states.
"You don't think?" Josh asks sarcastically.
"Erase card! Return to your power confined, Erase card!" Sakura shouts.
"Wulf?"
"C'mon, let's go before they spot us. This isn't the place or the time to be catching them." Wulf states.
"What was that?" Josh asks.
"Magic."
"Magic? But that's...," Josh starts but realizing that saying that was an impossibility would just be foolish.

"Awe, aren't they so cute." Madison quietly says filming the sleeping pair. Lee was asleep with his head leaned back while Sakura was using Lee's shoulder as a pillow again. Madison was now sitting with Josh and Wulf.
"Uh, why are you filming them?" Josh tentatively asks.
"Oh, it's just something I like to do." Madison replies. While everyone had forgotten what had happened, these two while acting like everyone else were doing just that, acting. She needed to know how much they saw. Wulf was too confident to be flustered, but the skinny boy genius beside her was another matter.
"Ok, what did you two see in the cave?" Madison asks directing her question at Josh. She bats her lashes at him trying to fluster him.
"Uh, well...," Josh begins now blushing himself. Wulf, however, squeezes the smaller boy's shoulder.
"I don't think either them or us are ready to talk about what is really going on around here. Neither of us want to get involved in something that'll be over our heads, but let's just say the secret isn't as secret as you and those two think." Wulf states. Josh clams up and decides to try and nap himself.
'Uh oh, they know something. What should I tell Sakura? If they aren't going to do anything about what they saw, then I guess I can let it go for now. Hmmm, Josh certainly was quite susceptible to my flirtation. I think I can get him do help me no problem.' she thinks and puts an arm around the sleeping boy. Wulf looks at Madison who gives the blond an evil smile. Wulf quickly averts his gaze not wanting to know what the girl was up to.
