Night\'s Addiction

Ran gently kissed Ken's arm up to his shoulder. The weeks of hard training had made Ken's arms more muscular and made his koi even more beautiful. He didn't think it was possible for Ken to become more beautiful but he had. He gently slid his fingers over the curves of his lover's arm and sighed happily. "What are you doing Ran?" He smiled and kissed the mop of brown hair, which was slightly longer now than when he first met Ken. "Admiring you. Your arms have gotten muscular." His love nodded into his chest and smiled slightly kissing him gently. Ken had changed slightly in personality as well; he hadn't lost any of his innocence just some of his shyness. "I love you Ken." His lover smiled and kissed him deeply gently running a tongue over his lips. He opened his mouth and allowed that talented muscle to taste him in any way possible.

Ken snuggled back into his lover and sighed happily. He missed mornings where he just got to cuddle and kiss his lover. This would have been a great morning if they weren't attacking the Takatori vampire coven tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn. He sighed heavily and nuzzled Ran's neck. "Something wrong kitten?" His shook his head and sighed again. "No just thinking about tomorrow." The room went oddly silent and his lover sighed. "I've been thinking a lot about that as well." A heavy blanket settled over the room only allowing breathing and two heartbeats to be heard. "Sucks don't it?" He said in the softest of all whispers. There was the soft wisp of a body moving against silk, as he was pulled closer to the firm chest of his lover. "As long as you are fine by the end of tomorrow night I'll be fine as well. We have the advantage over them Ken." He nodded slowly and sighed deeply.

Ran sighed looking up into the dancing shadows being slowly dissolved by the lucid morning light. He wished all problems and fears could be as easily dissolved by a simple thing like light and softness. Fear was a primal as need and his greatest fear lay with in his greatest need. When had it come to his life revolving around one single person? He looked at the half asleep Ken and gently ran his fingers through crimson highlighted brown locks. "Your hair has gotten longer. I think I like it." His lover snorted and stretched a little. "Thanks. I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not. You would look dead sexy with long hair." He smiled and shook his head. "You hang out with Yohji and Schu to much." His lover chuckled and smiled gently tugging on his ear tails. "I like you the way you are Ran." He smiled and kissed his love lightly.

Ken sighed deeply and looked at the clock. There was no way in hell that could be right. It couldn't be that late in the afternoon, he never slept that late unless her and Ran had spent the whole night making love but they slept last night. Well he slept last night. He sighed and decided to forget the time and cuddle into his lover only there was one problem his lover was no longer in bed with him. He sat up and looked around and sighed again slowly slipping out of bed and pulling on boxers and a shirt from the floor. He would take a shower and get clean cloths once he found out where Ran was and see if the sexy one wanted to join him. He padded down into the kitchen, which only held Yohji and Schu making out, and then into the library where Aya and Knight were making out, Ran would kill Knight once he was no longer needed, then to the few other rooms that Ran should have been in. No Ran to be found. He pouted and sighed heading back into the room.

The smell of fresh flowers danced to a slow song, gently drifting this way and that as the breeze played its dulcet melody. Ran sat quietly amongst the roses just thinking. He tried to plan a strategy for tomorrow but his thoughts kept coming back to Ken. His eyes drifted up to his window and he vaguely wondered if his kitten was still sleeping. He came out here so he could stop thinking about Ken but it seemed every time he was away from Ken he only thought about him more. He growled to himself and sighed then looked up at the sound of Ken's voice softly singing. He looked over to his balcony and saw his love leaning on the rail shirt open freshly cleaned and singing. His koi was so beautiful and had a nice voice too.

Ken sighed as he looked down suddenly feeling dizzy. Stress always made him sick. He threw up a few times before his shower. He really wasn't feeling well and he really wanted his lovely redhead to come and cuddle with him. He sighed and inhaled the smell of the flowers gently dancing on the sensual breeze. He needed to throw up again. He turned slowly and walked back into the room and into the bathroom where he tossed open the lid and looked into the water. He needed a walk. He sighed and walked down the hall and out the front door. Some one was going to kill him for going off alone. He sighed and slipped on his shoes then grinned at his jacket and helmet. A bike ride would do wonders.

Ran came from the garden and looked at his lover getting his bike from the garage. He walked over wondering what his koi was thinking. "Hay Ran! Where were you?" He shrugged and kissed his lover lightly gently brushing away a few strands of dark hair from his lover's eyes. "I was in the garden. What are you doing?" His lover grinned and held out a spare helmet. "Care to join me?" He rolled his eyes but grabbed the helmet anyway and slipped it on pressing himself against his lover's back as soon as he got on. He didn't like motorcycles much so he planned on clinging to Ken for dear life. The engine revved and he closed his eyes tightly and clung on to the brown leather jacket.

Ken took off a neck breaking speeds deciding to go up to his favorite place. His boyfriend was relaxed but clinging on to him for dear life. He want to laugh but just gently patted a pale hand that gripped onto him more tightly. He smiled as he came to the high winding rode and let his spirit fly free with the wind. He pulled to a stop and his lover clung to him for a few more seconds then released him once he turned off the bike. He smiled and took of his helmet and sighed walking over and laying in the long grass. Ran came over and flopped next to him then curled into his warmth. He smiled and gently ran his fingers through crimson hair.

Ran sighed deeply not sure of how to approach the subject he wanted to. He loved Ken but he was afraid his love might take things the wrong way. "Ken." Big brown eyes locked on to his and his heart fluttered into his throat. "I've been thinking that once all this is over we should..." Tender fingers touched his lips and chocolate eyes looked at him like a lost street kitten. "Ran please don't say we should break up. If we do I'll understand but I don't want to think about it now." He blinked and pulled his lover close and chuckled slightly. "Ken silly I don't think we should break up ever I think we should move in together. We'll buy a small house close to your work and live there during the week then come to the big house on weekends." Chocolate eyes blinked at him for a few seconds then a bright smile came over his lover's face. "I'd like that." He smiled and kissed his lover deeply curling his fingers into soft hair and gently resting his forehead against the other mans.

Ken jumped three feet in the air when the alarm went off at four in the morning. He sat for a second then peeled out of bed to get ready. Ran glared at the clock then smirked slightly. Today was his day for revenge. Takatori was going to pay dearly. There was a soft knock on the door and a blond head popped in the door and Omi smiled faintly at him. "Where is Ken?" His loved came from the closet ready to go. Omi smiled softly and shut the door. He stood and stretched placing a quick kiss on his lover's lips then heading into the closet to get ready himself.

Every one was gathered in the dinning room ready to go. Omi, Nagi, Yuki, and Pawn handed out the headsets and every one quickly tested them and nodded everything was good to go. Free shuffled his cards and pulled one out smiling and setting it back in his deck. Yohji leaned against his best friend and smiled easily. "What are you thinking Kenken?" Brown eyes locked on to green as a slight shrug was given. "I'm not sure if I can kill Kase Yohji. He may have done some bad things but he was still my friend. I don't think it would be any easier to kill you." The lanky blond gently patted his friend on the shoulder and hugged him briefly. "I'm sure you'll figure things out when the time comes." The brunet nodded and sighed deeply.

It was still dark as the 26 silent figures slipped onto the compound. Nagi had found blue prints of the place and they all spilt into smaller teams to slip into the once abandoned hotel. The soft single came over the line and Ran glanced at his lover who nodded and pointed to the window. He nodded and stood below it giving Ken a deep kiss and lifting him up to the window. His lover slipped in the building without a single sound and Yohji fallowed closely behind. He nodded to Omi and the boy leaped up and he fallowed. His lover nodded down one hall then the other. Apparently Takatori did some restorations. He bit his lip and looked at his lover wanting nothing more than to stay with Ken. "We should split up, long range and short. Ken and I will head left you and Yohji take right." Omi whispered softly. He nodded giving Ken one more quick kiss and fallowing the tall blond down the hall.

Nagi felt the slight tingle of potential before he saw Rozenkreuz. He looked at the pink haired girl and nodded to his three comrades. They nodded back and Farefello blended himself into the shadows. Schuldich grinned and winked at Crawford and he took off down the hall the pryo giving him chase. Crawford grinned slightly and slipped into the early dawn light bleeding through the windows making his glasses temporally blind the tall green haired man while he reached forward and ripped out the annoying lip ring. He never did like those things.
Free glanced at his small lover and sighed deeply. They had run into a few vampires on the way in by nothing to bad they all looked at one another and nodded as the order to head to the basement came in. Chloe was worried about his boyfriend who was only in a group with his younger brother. Yuki nodded as he got the link from Omi, Pawn, Sena, Aya, Ronan, and Nagi. They were all on the same computer link and could all see the layout and where every one was via tiny watches every person had. He nodded to his teammates who all turned on their watches and headed to the basement.

Aya smiled a little at her lover's soft question and her brother's stern voice. She looked over at the other three ladies and they nodded slightly. "We are fine Knight. Be careful every one." She heard a few mummers and one snort." She smiled slightly and looked at the other three and the four figures coming down the hall the young girl with teal hair and a teddy bear getting the closest first. They quickly hid waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Kai nodded her silently signal to Sena and Kyo. They were close to the basement and ready to strike at any moment they just had to get the uglies away from the door. He cursed softly. Kyo looked at Sena and they both nodded. If every thing went well here and they both lived they were going to get together. They all had their weapons at the ready and heard Ken's voice coming over the line claiming a plan. They all nodded and got ready to break the door.

Ronan nodded to his older brother who nodded back and they pulled out their weapons the saw this as the perfect time. All they needed now was Ken's distraction. They were both curious to know what the boy was planning and the soft "Miss me?" The both lunged for the door.

Knight nodded to his group and slipped silently into the building. He froze as soft sensual breath ghosted across his face. He hated vampires except Aya. He slashed through the creature easily enough and nodded to Pawn who started to hack into the system to find Takatori or any other vampires. The other people in the groups were highlighted in red, Rozenkreuz white, the four dark ladies black and every one else in blue. He nodded and clicked on the communication device. "Every one except Rozen and the wenches are stationed in the basement. There seem to be about one hundred if the computer read out is right. I think we got our selves out numbered." A few responses crackled over the lines from each of the team leaders. "We are headed down there now. Omi, Ken you guys cause a distraction. Schwartz is already facing Rozen. Cats how are you guys?" Knight asked Aya softly. There was a few more words exchanged between every one then it went silent. "Ran what do you want as a distraction?" Omi asked softly.

"No worries Omi I have a plan. Ran Love don't kill me ok." Ken said brightly.

The line went silent and Ken winked at the small blond then hopped up into the air duct. He was going to get himself killed or seriously injured but hay any thing for the group. He grinned a little evilly as he looked down at the large group of vampires. Oh it was certain he was going to die. He kicked open the vent and hopped down. "Miss me?" The room was still then every vampire lunged toward him.
