Night\'s Obsession

Ran spun and killed the creature behind him and growled moving like water chopping his way through the ugly minions and hissed as a cut landed on his arm and growled hacking the ugly creature to bits. He glanced to his lover, Ken and Hiroshi were circling one another Ken had foregone the sword in favor of his claws and smiled slightly then turned back to the fight. He loved Ken with all his heart and his lover gave him the strength to carry on and not allow his own darkness consume him.

Ken chuckled softly watching the man closely and striking out landing a nice long cut along the man's ugly face and smirked proudly at the howl of rage. He spun and killed the creature sneaking up on him then turned back to Hiroshi and attacked landing a nice hit in his gut then yanking up. The man was lousing a lot of blood and slowing down but damn he was determined. He snarled and moved again as a slow swing was directed at his side and got a hit in the neck.

Kai spun and used her two small swords to easily kill the two creatures behind her and turned to look at the young girl by her side as seven of the creatures turned to dust. "Shouldn't you be going after Hiroshi?" The little girl smiled at her and winked one big gray eye. "I'm letting Ken have his fun first." She smirked and took out the creature climbing down the wall with her daggers and spun trying to attack and almost chopping off her love's head in the act but stopping just as her blade touched his skin and smiled moving close in an embrace and killing the monster behind her lover and placing a quick kiss on tender lips then spinning away and going back to battle.

Chloe fought with his roses and his sword with no problem. He turned just in time to see his lover go down in pieces and screamed moving and felt something catch around his throat and the last thing he saw was his lover's beautiful eyes looking up at him begging him to be safe as his head was separated from his body.

Crawford looked up just in time and moved blocking the unknown attack on his lover and pulled the sword from his chest and killed the ugly monster with it snarling and turned to his lover. "Careful, I may be invincible but you are not so lucky." His lover nodded and he looked around and saw the odd creature putting up razor wire and pulled out his gun firing five times and hitting the thing dead on killing it smirking softly. "Watch your necks some one planted some nasty traps!" The others nodded one moving as if they could see where the wire was. He turned and fired more shots then pulled out another charge and reloaded his gun and smirking kicking out as he saw the attack coming his way before it even happened.

Nagi called for the wire and wrapped it around the heard of creatures going for Yohji and smirked winking at the tall blond who nodded in return. "Wire clear!" The others then moved normally and he smirked turning to Omi who was clearly seeking revenge for what was done to him and teleported next to Ken taking care of the brunet's little problem so he could focus on Hiroshi. "Get in a good hit for me and Omi." The brunet nodded to him and smirked dragging his claws down the man's chest and winking at him. "Get Annabel I'm almost ready for her." He nodded and teleported next to the gray haired child and smiled. "Ken is almost ready for you." The girl nodded and started moving just touching the creatures with the tips of her fingers and turning them to dust.

Hiroshi spun and grabbed Ran holding his sword to the redhead in one last attempt to defend himself. "Move and I'll kill Ran." Ken just chuckled and he pressed the blade closer to the pale throat his blood seeping into the other man's cloths as Ken pulled a move he didn't even see and had Ran free and his arm laying on the ground in three pieces. He looked into cold ice blue eyes and stepped back always remembering the boy's eyes as deep innocent brown. "I'm not human Hiroshi it's just your darkness can't feel my light but now I have darkness inside of me because you took Ran and used him as a toy. Ran is mine and I don't share kindly. Goodbye." He stepped back and felt cold small fingers touch his back and streaked in pain as white hot pain laced through him and his body crumbled to dust around him but his soul remained tightly in Annabel's grasp.

The battle was far from over because they still had a thousand or more creatures to fight then once this was over they would have at least three friends to bury. Ken moved quickly getting in to the new battle and moving slowly toward his lover killing anything that stood in his path. He sighed deeply and watched Sena stand and tried to move but was blocked then shouted for the young man to watch out as an unseen monster came from the wall. All he saw was the sword plunging through Sena's heart and then sliding up chopping through the shoulder. He gasped and looked down at the sword sticking through his own chest and growled stepping forward and spinning killing what ever it was behind him. "Kai! Omi! The walls!"

Kai spun throwing darts and daggers at the wall hearing some of them land in flesh and smirking as the monsters hit the ground. She turned and saw a lot of Omi's darts then head several gunshots go off from Schu and Crawford. She looked at her watch then smiled slightly. "Five minuets!" The others nodded and ran for the doors or picked up the dead and headed for an exit. She ran and easily navigated the halls and grabbed Annabel seeing as the poor girl was confused to what was going on. She ran fallowing closely behind Ken who let her pass and smiled her thanks.

The battle then headed out side a few hundred feet away from the castle and they were no longer fighting as many creatures in as tight of quarters. They were all out for revenge seeing as four of their very best friends were dead and several of them had been tortured or raped by the now dead man. Ran looked around and saw Rook then Bishop go down in pieces and frowned as the ground vibrated below him then the castle came crumbling down breaking what ever magic shield was up and turning all the creatures into dust before them. He stood still for a long while just watching the castle crumble to the ground as Nagi helped it along leveling the whole thing and smiled. He was free and for the first time in centuries he felt free. There was no darkness over his heart and no doubt about him and Ken.

Ran sighed and looked over friends who were dusting themselves off and smiled as his lover pounced him wrapping strong legs around him and kissing him deeply. He grabbed Ken's ass holding his lover where he was and pulling him closer all at the same time and grabbed onto silky soft brown hair deepening the kiss. This was so right he wanted to cry or have his wicked way with Ken on the soft grass they were standing on. Ken's legs were warped tightly about his waist and strong arms hugged him tightly as their lips moved in a deep passionate kiss. He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against Ken's and smiled at the grin he could feel on his lover. "I love you Ken." His lover smiled and moved in for another deep needy kiss that was short and sweet. "I love you too Ran." He smiled and spun around holding his lover tightly and laughing. He was finally free.

Ronan smiled at Kai and kissed her cheek as they gathered all their fallen friends together. He heard Annabel sigh deeply and it was clear the young girl felt bad. Ken and Ran had now joined them and they were looking at the faces of their friends and family. "I'm sorry I can't bring any of them back their bodies are too damaged for me to do any good. The most I can do is make then whole." Every one in the group nodded knowing that was the right thing to do and the young girl summoned her power and pulled the bodies back together and clearing away all the blood making it look as though their friends were only sleeping. "There is a chance I can bring back Sena." The little girl said softly and she watched Omi step forward resting his hand on a small shoulder. "Sena wouldn't want to live with out Kyo. They are all in a better place now." Every one gather nodded and he stepped forward slowly. "Annabel it's time for me to go as well. Thank you for bringing me back so I could fight with my friends but there is nothing here for me." The girl nodded and Kai gripped his sleeve. He looked into lovely eyes and brushed a few blond locks from his once love's face. "It's my time Kai. I love you and I always have I just wish I wasn't a fool and held onto you. Shion will take good care of you, well he better or I'll kick his ass. You love him and are happy and that is more than I could ever wish for." He took off a silver ring that was twisted into a lovely Celtic knot and placed it on her finger. "Just so you won't forget me." He smiled and pulled Kai in for a deep kiss then hugged her for a long while.

Kai felt Ronan go limp in her arms and fell to her knees supporting her friend's weight and sobbing softly. She sighed deeply pulling herself together and laying her friend next to his brother and smiling as Shion's arm wound around her waist and pulled her close to his warmth. "It will be hard to say goodbye to all of them." Every one nodded their silent agreement and she smiled at all of her other friends her brother and her lover.

Ken looked at Sena, Kyo, Rook, Bishop, Bran, Chloe and Ronan all peaceful on the ground and sighed snuggling into Ran's side. "Why don't we all go home and rest a while and let our hearts settle. We will all miss our dear friends but I'm glad as many of us made it alive out of there as we did. I love all of you and thank you so much for fighting with me a second time." Every one nodded and Kai and Aya glomped him in a tight hug. He smiled and felt the tears stream down his face. He was oddly happy and oddly pained all at the same time. He hugged the two girls back tightly and smiled gripping his friends hands in a firm shake giving a personal thanks to each and every one. Knight and Pawn were all that remained of one group and Farefello had to watch the two family members he was closest to die. He hugged the pale man and smiled softly trying to comfort him. Soon after they all parted ways to go back home and deal with their grief in their own way. He looked to Ran and kissed his lover softly and took his hand in a tight grip. "Lets go home love." Ran nodded and pulled him close wrapping an arm around his waist and kissing him soundly.
