Warnings: I do not own the Trigun cast but Netamu and Yumeyu are my creations so no stealing!
What I put in parentheses is basically a translation of what Vash and Wolfwood are saying.
Chapter Two:
Vash yipped and ducked as another full glass of beer came hurling at his head. “Hey, washit! Somon coogay a booboo.” (Hey, watch it, someone could get a booboo) Came his slurred, drunken words. “Woofie, tell dose men to dop it.” (Wolfie, tell those men to stop it ) The blonde moaned as he stood and fell against Wolfwood.
“No… nomo to drink…” (No, no more to drink) He told Vash, his breath heavy with alcohol.
“Aww, Woofie, jus one moe? Peeze?” (Aww, Wolfie, just one more? Please?) He asked, his lower lip pushed into a pout.
He moved his head from side to side. “No, we go home now.” He draped his arm around Vash and turned to the door.
“You two boys leaving already?” Asked the bartender, raising the glass he was drying to the two men.
“Yuh huh.” Wolfwood answered as they neared the door to leave the saloon. “Thankoo fer da drinks, day were…goo-ood.” (Thank you for the drinks, they were good.) He smiled and handed the bartender his empty glass.
Vash reluctantly handed over the glass and sighed. “Yoo no fun!” (You're no fun!) “You“You two want an escort back to your rooms?”
“I think they would need more than that, friend.” Spoke a female voice at the door.
The three looked over to the entrance where there stood a teenage girl, hands akimbo.
“And who would you be, little lady?” Asked the bartender.
She glanced up at the man. “If I told you that I would be forced to kill you.”
“Hey, dat’s not nice. No…no kill. Ove and ese!” (Hey,thats not nice! No.. no kill. Love and peace!) Vash gave her a look as his face turned green.
She smiled to herself at the position that Wolfwood held Vash, his arm protectively around his waist. “I only kill if I have to.”
Vash crossed his eyes at her and pressed his face closer to hers. “I dun likey you. You’re no verrrrrrr nicE!” (I dobn't like you. You're not very ncie!) He raised his hand and shook a disciplinary finger at her.
Wolfwood gently clapped him on the shoulder. “We go to bed.”
“Where are you staying?” She asked, her gently blue eyes smiling with kindness. She raised a hand and ran it over her long chestnut braid.
“At da fur..furverer…” Wolfwood leaned forward as he tried to say the name. (Think Jack Sparrow trying to say “parler”. I think that’s how its spelled in French. O.o I Aced that class too. )
“The Ferveyer?” She offered to the struggling drunk man.
“Yeah The Ferverer!” Wolfwood yepled excitedly.
She shook her head. “I have a room there too.” She turned to the bartender. “I’d like a shot of Scotch when I get back please.” After making sure the two didn’t need to be carried out she stepped out onto the sandy road and helped the men down the steps.
The two men, each a bout a foot taller than herself, swayed uneasily in their drunken stupor . “Do you two drink like this every night?”
Vash gave a heavy sigh. “Yeah.”
“Those who drink try to forget a past that no one would want, Vash.”

Okay. I have to tell all of you that I know this is boring but it will get better. Legato will come in and mess things up. To let you all know, for those who don’t, the girl, Yumeyu, is a lesbian. You’ll realize later when I introduce one of the orphans that Woldfood had cared for. Yumeyu is 17 so if she and Wolfwood or she and Vash… just ew. Wolfie’s almost 30 and Vash is over 100 so, yeah. I’m not that bad. I can be. But not here. The introduction of Legato will change things so just hang in there till then.
