Note: To Inulover28, I've never seen "The Omen" so I've got no clue what you're talking about, maybe I should watch it. To all my reviewers/readers I'm glad you all like the fic so far, I hope you enjoy this one as well and I get twice as many reviews (please please). I'm sorry it took so long for me to write but some complications with some medication came up and I was out like a light for three days. Let's just hope I never have to take that medication ever again. o.O
PS: I lost my spell checker when I reformated my computer, so if there are mispellings then I'm very sorry. I also don't have much time to proof read t pup puppies so grammer and puncutation can be off at some parts. Sorry about that.
chapter Beta
"I don't get it,ki mki mummbled to himself as he paced the room.
He had heard his brother panicked, the measure of fright in his voice had sent chills down his spine when he herd the scream. He had raced down the hallway, broke a vase when turning the corner to quickly. He scrambled to his feet when he had tripped, all to reach his brother who held the door knob to one of the many TV rooms. The green eyes of his little brother's had been squeezed shut as tears dampened his white knuckles. His arms shook ever so slightly and it took Ikki a good five mintues of soft words to get him to let go. When he went inside the room his brother held tightly to his broud back, pressed so tightly as if to make himself disappear. But he didn't see anything in the room, it was perfectly normal, except for the one picture that was broken on the floor.
At first he was a bit upset that he got so riled up over nothing, then he saw the small blood trails dribbling down the pale skin of his sibling. Upon seeing the crimson liquid he grabbed the green haired boy's arm and pulled him into one of the many rooms that held a first aid kit. When first glancing at it he thought that maybe when the picture fell it could have hit Shun or even hit something else and the glass could have grazed him. That theory was ruled out when he cleaned the blood away, the skin was red and puffy, the hair showing signs of being pulled with great power. He had demanded to know what had happened, who would have done such a thing to his precious family, the answer was not what he expected. The story of these black creatures was something that he would have never thought would come out of the boy's mouth. Sure Shun read up on local ghost stories, then again he did that himself, it was only normal to show interest in things you don't understand. But Shun never wished to encounter anything like that, out of all the saints, Andromeda was the one that was least likely to actually believe in such things.
So now, Shun sat in a green chair, the high back and soft texture of the piece of furniture allowed his lithe body to relax back in it. Pheonix continued to pace, not wanting to believe thas brs brother would lie, let alone to him. So what could have transpired? Maybe he hallusinated it all... then again what would cause the hallusinations?
Ikki stopped in his worrisome walk, it had already been an hour or so since he had first started. Kneeling in front of his brother he looked up at those gentle green eyes that still held traces of fear. Taking the youth's hands in his own he smiled, hating the sight of the bandage that wrapped around Shun's head.
"Now Shun... you're possitive that these... things had attacked you right?"
The boy nodded slowly.
"Then I guess I have not choice but to believe you."
"You-You mean it?"
"Would I lie to you?"
Shun shook his head and slowly wrapped his arms around his brother's shoulders whispering a thank you. To be honest he had been scared that Ikki wouldn't believe him, that he might have thought of something else and was just going to say something to make him feel better. Yet the look in those dark blue eyes of his elder brother told him that he was trusted for telling the truth. And right now he actually felt a bit foolish to even think that his brother would not believe in him.
The rest of the day went by fairly quickly, most likely because he spent the rest of the day with his brother. They had gone out to eat and had stopped by a book store. Shun had bought a few recipie books that mostly consisted of stews and deserts. While Ikki interested himself in comic books and the slim music selection that was held with in the store. They had stopped by an archaid on the way home and indulged themselves on the various mind-numbing games, such as DDR and shooting games from America like Area 51. When they got out of there they probably had blown over a hundred dollars and the night sky had settled in. They were starting to walk home when they passed by an old nicknack shop. Ikki stopped at the sight of something inside the store.
"Hey Shun, wait out here for me okay?" He quickly dodged into the shop, "I'll only be a second."
The boy nodded and decided to pass the time with looking at one of the books he had perchased. He wrinkled his nose at the one recipie called 'Beer Beef Stew', he didn't really like the taste of alcohole, cooked or not. Going through a few more pages he started to read up on what a 'chicken mushroom stew' called for. His shoulders shivered when a cold gust of wind blew past him. Closing his book he placed it back in the sack tempted to go inside and look for his sibling. It would be warmer inside, always a benifit when the wind was starting to feel like winter gusts. His face scrunched up in a slight expression of distaste when he started to think about it. It was almost July and yet there was cold wind like this? That wasn't all that natural. He suddenly perked up, maybe Hyoga was around and just pulling some kind of joke.
Looking around he spotted the blond standing across the street under the street light. The saiberian waved with a smile on his face.
"Hyoga!" he chimmed happily. "What 'cha doing there? Come over here and visit."
The blond lowered his hand, his lips moved but Shun couldn't hear him. He stepped closer to the street, his feet next to the small ledge of the curb, "What was that? I couldn't hear you, Hyoga."
Same lip movement happened again, but he could just barely hear his fellow saint. A hand slapped his back, thrusting him forward out into the street. When the hand pressed against him he could feel the flesh and bone. Chunks of the palm where missing, parts of the flesh slimmy like the skin had melted. As hll hll he twisted around seeing only Seiya behind him. The sounds of a car horn blurred out his friend's shout as headlights came closer. Everything seemed so slow at the moment, the screatching of the tires, the lights encrouching upon him. He could hear his own heart beating at a slow pace, he didn't know why he was so calm. Maybe that's what it's always like just before someone dies...
Seiya's hand shot forward, gripping the front of his friend's shirt he yanked him back with as much speed as he could possibly muster. The green haired youth was whipped out of the way of the car, the vehicle's antenna clipping off a few hairs as he was cleared from his own possible death. Shun hit into Seiya from the vilosity that his friend had pulled him at. He instinctively held onto hisend end trying to balance himself out. The two stumbled onto the side walk, tripping,and falling to the hard cement.
The bell of the shop door rloudloudly when Ikki bolted out. He quickly pulled his little brother off of the ground, holding his face he nearly shouted out his words.
"Shun! You okay? Look at me Shun, let me see you. Are you hurt?" His large hands cupped soft cheeks as the boy tried to look over to see Hyoga, only to see no one there.
"I-I'm fine Ikki," he finally got to speak over his brother.
"You idiot!" Phoenix shouted shaking the youth by his arms, "What where you doing?! What the hell got into your head?!"
"What are you talking about, Ikki?" He moved a bit only to have his sibling's grip tighten, "Ikki you're hurting me."
"Ikki," Seiya grabbed the man's wrists speaking calmly. "Calm down, he tripped that's all. Let him go man."
The dark haired knight snorted and released the startled youth. He mumbled an apology and turned away quickly from the sight of those eyes filled with shock and bewilderment. Ikki knew that Shun didn't know what was going on, it was something that just happened so quickly. But he couldn't help but feel nervious, and his anxity only came out in bad ways. The eldest of the bronze knights had this sickening feeling, something that started to worry him after he heard the story from his brother and he just hoped that he was wrong.
~Hours later~
Phoenix tossed Pegasus a cold soda as he turned around closing the fridge as he did so. Seiya easily caught the can from his seat at the kitchen table. He wore his usual clothing but with a black shirt instead of a red one. His hair was messer than usual and the oder of sweat was distinctive, telling anyone that the boy was on a jog and just happened to come across his friends.
"So what do you think?" Ikki took a swig of his drink.
The brunet made an unsure humming sound. Getting up he sat on the table feeling a bit more comfortable in the rude manner of using a table. "If he says he saw Hyoga I have to believe him," he popped open his soda can.
"Did you see him?"
"No, but that doesn't mean that Shun couldn't have. Think about it man, they haven't seen each other in a while, Hyoga was the first to leave and they're best friends. Knowing how sensitive Shun is it might be getting to him that there are so few people around, being accustomed to having a large number around and all."
"You're saying that my brother hallusinated it then."
The smaller teen gave a saticfied exhail after drink half of his soda down, "No man, I mean he might have seen something more like a preminition. Maybe Hyoga is going to show up all of the sudden."
"Do you think that's possible?"
"Why are you asking me? You're the guy that can create illutions in the mind. Besides, think about it. The only reason why we fighters don't get hit often is because we predict a move, we see it coming before it happens, who's to say that preminitions are only limited to the training of the body."
"You should like Shaka."
"You asked..." the leader of the bronze saints thumbed the rim of the can in his hands. The ticking of the kitchen clock seemed to match the pace of his thoughts.
"Go ahead and say it."
He gave a sigh, "Ikki... What he said about feeling a hand against his back... Do you think that's real? I mean do you think it really happened."
Ikki's hand crushed the can, spilling liquid down his fist and onto the floor. He threw the reminets of the aluminum to the side while yelling at his friend, "There is no fucking way that Shun would willingly jump in front of a speeding car!!"
Brown eyes widdened then narrowed, "I never said anything like that! I was wondering if he has had enough sleep recently!"
"Sleep?"
"Yeah, sleep," a sigh came from the saint, feeling better that the tention was going away. "Strange things happen when you don't get enough rest. I know when I was training and didn't get enough rest I would slip, trip, fall, and some times it felt like I was being pushed or pulled but that was just me feeling gravity and placing a familiar feel to it, like a hallutionation."
Ikki slumped against the counter a bit, looking up at the ceiling, "No he hasn't been sleeping well for some time now. He's been having nightmares, something that deals with Hyoga."
"Hyoga?..."
A nod was his reply. There was a long moment of silence before the elder spoke up again, "Seiya..."
"Yeah?"
"It's late, take a room and get some rest."
"What about you?" he watched as Ikki walked out of the room.
"I'm going to check up on Shun," he waved over his shoulder.
~~~~~~~~~~
Shun sat on his bed, he felt too tired after his evening shower to change into his pajamas, this resulted in him only having on his underwear and a large white button up shirt on. He ran his hair brush through his slightly damp hair enjoying the dim light that his lamp provided in the room. Earlier he had turned off the lights and plugged in his desk lamp, actually he wanted to light some candles but that would call for to much effort that he wasn't willing to expense at the moment.
Humming lightly he tried to push the negitivengs ngs that had happened through out the day from his head. But one image remained in his mind, the sight of Hyoga standing there waving at him. The look in those blue eyes, even though he was so far away when he saw those eyes he knew something was wrong. It was like it wasn't Hyoga just someone that looked similar to him, but the feeling... the hair, the build of the body, the clothing... He gently set his hairbrush to the side, getting up to turn off the light. His mind wanted so badly to register it as his friend but his heart knew so much better. Giving a sigh he swiftly clicked off the light and tucked himself into his bed. Tomorrow was a new day and he was positive that it could only be better than today.
Soon as he felt himself slipping into a nice sleep he was jarred from his state of peaceful rest by the knocking on his door. He gave a heavy sigh, hoping who ever would go away and just think that he was asleep. After a moment of silence he was sure that who ever it was had left, that was until his door started to crack open. He sat up slowly hearing the door click shut, the feeling of someone else in the room prominent. Rubbing at an eye, Andromeda stifled a yawn.
"Ikki, what is it?" he asked his guest that slantered to his ide.ide.
The elder sat down, placing his hands on either side of Shun's hips. The younger felt a twisting feeling of warning well up in his gut. Ikki's eyes held a hungry,al lal look to them.
"I-ikki... is there something the matt-" he gave a gasp as his brother suddenly pushed him down to the bed. His wrists pinned to his mattress as his brother possitioned himself over him. "W-what are you doing?!" he shouted, bringing up his knee to wedge between their bodies.
Ikki's large, strong hands forced his brother's hands above his head. Soon as one of his hands loosened Shun wrenched free from the grip and started to shove his sibling off of him.
"Get off of me!" he squirmed trying to free himself. "What's gotten into you?! Get off now!!"
His attempt to completely free himself was wiped away when the Phoenix saint shoved Shun's knee down, his legs becoming ed aed as well as his hand being recaptured. The elder streched his body over the more feminen male, pressing his hips against the youth's. Andromeda shouted out a cry of distress from feeling the hardness that his own flesh and blood was sporting. He clamped his eyes shut as a hot tongue ran up his neck and jaw leaving a trail of saliva behind. "Please don't do this, please don't do this," he chanted as kisses continued to be administered. Having his hands now in the captivity of only of hof his brother's, he felt his stomach churn when he felt his shirt tear open. The buttons popping off to allow calased fingers roam over the tender flesh of his chest. With each touch with each kiss he felt his body become dirtier.
Ikki's hand wandered down to the rim of his little brother's underware. Shun screamed out when the hand slipped under the thin cloth to wrap around the limp member. His mouth was quickly covered, a warm tongue slipping in to whip around savoring the taste. With tears running down his face Shun bit down on the tongue causing Ikki to pull back. Not wasteing a moment, Andromeda knocked his brother off of him. Throwing the blankets up, he created just a small distraction that he hoped would be good enough to allow him to figure out an escape route, even if that meant jumping off the balcony.
Seeing Ikki getting the blankets off, he didn't want to chance running past his brother to get to the door. He needo geo get out, away from Ikki just for the moment, just until his brother was back to his normal self. Darting to the large windows, he pulled them open. Climbing onto the balcany edge he started to jump only to have a pair of arms wrap around him. He gave a pained screamed for help and he was pulled back into the room his voice quickly silenced.
