Author’s Note’s: Hey everyone! Because of the nice reviews I received for the first chapter I’ve decided to go on with this fic. I’ve also decided to make the Tsume x Toboe pairing more central to the story, at the same time maintaining the Hige x Kiba relationship (They’re soooo cute!!!).

2. Watching and Longing.

~Toboe’s POV~

I’d woken up a while ago; I mean how anyone (except Tsume!) could hope to stay sleeping with all the commotion going on was beyond me. I got up off Tsume’s chest, making sure not to wake him, and crept round to the back of the cave; where all the noise was coming from. As I peered round the corner I saw Hige and Kiba sleeping beside each other. I didn’t think anything of it at first but then I picked up a strange smell lingering about the cave. I lifted my nose to the air and gave it a good sniff. It was like, salty, or something and it took me a while to get what it was.
This was big, I mean did Kiba and Hige actually… you know. They couldn’t have, I mean come on. Its obvious Hige’s gagging for it but no way would Kiba do that. He’s such a straight guy, literally. It’s kinda like me and Tsume.
I turned back to look at him, still resting peacefully. His flesh felt so tepid against my own, warming my whole body over. I know us huddling wasn’t meant to feel, sexual in any way (I think…), but the scent of his fur and the warmth and, and the beat of his heart. I got really excited about it and had to turn away from him so if he woke up he wouldn’t notice it there.
That scent was still there, I wanted to go in for a closer look. They both looked so serene with one another. Kiba lay on his side with Hige snuggled up tight to him, his head resting on the white’s neck. I needed a closer look.
I took each step then waited three seconds to see if they reacted in any way, before proceeding on with the next (a little technique I’d picked up, hehe.). It took forever but I finally got close enough for a good inspection of things.
There was something else in the air just then, the Kiba-cum withstanding I mean. It made me feel a little dizzy at first, but then warm… I dunno. It was strange. Then I realised it was the scent of their ecstasy, they had done it. I worked my way round Kiba to Hige padding my feet lightly, my nose tracing along above their bodies. Hige too smelt of sex, and I was getting a little turned on by all this. They must’ve really gone at it hard. Wow, who’d of thought that they-
“Toboe.” Something whispered harshly. I scrambled back quickly before realising it was Hige and I gave him a little grin. “What are you doing here Toboe?” He asked nervously.
“We’ll there was noise, and I smelt something…”
“Whatever just go.” He seemed really adamant for me to scram. I moved in closer and whispered in his ear.
“So what was it like, you know, with Kiba?” I enquired giddily. “Was it good?”
His face became really panicked of a sudden and I could hear his heart beat intensify. Was this a secret, I kept thinking.
He lifted his head of Kiba and shoved my body. I took the hint and went swiftly back to Tsume. All I could think as I nestled myself back onto his soft fur was: If those two can be together, can’t we Tsume?

~Hige’s POV~

I couldn’t get back to sleep after that, even with Kiba next to my body. Toboe knew everything, although it wasn’t like we were careful or anything. I mean, did Kiba really think those two wouldn’t notice the stench of us back here. He lay there deep in slumber, so unaware of everything. He wanted it secret, ‘just between us’. God, would he think I let them know? Surely he would realise that Toboe just smelt us and figured it out. Oh god. This unclean feeling scathed over me, but was displaced by a gentle nudge.
“Hey there.” Kiba said to me, those gorgeous eyes looking at me again. “You O.K?”
“Well, yeah, I mean, I dunno.” God I’m such a spaz.
He smiled softly before licking my face tenderly. I closed my eyes as he did this, trying to amplify the feeling of him. We brushed faces and nuzzled all over until unexpectedly he pulled back giving me a mischievous smile. I smiled back unsurely, what was I going to say? He leaped up taking me by my neck scruff and tugged on me. We exchanged playful growls and wrestled and rolled on each other. This bliss was almost enough to make me forget about my betrayal, as I saw it. He had mened ned down, his body bearing over me. Leaning down he suckled the ridge of my throat, it was so tender and his touch so definite. I felt him getting more and more turned on with each nip and stroke of my neck. I too was aroused now fully. How could he want to do it now, with them round the corner soon to wake? Did he want to keep us a secret or was it some test of my loyalty?
He padded backwards, stroking his nose down my body, stopping at my belly. He rubbed and stroked it, moving in circular motions. I liked that a lot. He kept going down until reaching my arousal. He worked it all over, sometimes leaving it so to tease my hardened balls with his tongue then returning for another go. My cock throbbed, it didn’t take me long to cum with him going like that and he lapped up every drop, swallowing it down.

Although not as raw as the last time, this little session left us both collapsed on the floor panting. I would have gladly spent all day with him embracing, but the sun was up; meaning we needed to scavenge together a meal before we went on.
We stood up and stretched ourselves out. As we walked Kiba brushedselfself against me affectionately.
“Your quite frisky in the morning, aren’t you?” I said licking him.
“What about you?” He said nudging me. “Oh Kiba, do you like that oooh.”
“Shut up. And you and your ‘oh it came from you didn’t it.’”
We laughed together, still walking close to each other. But as we turned the corner and Toboe and Tsume came into view we separated, Kiba walking in front. Everything felt colder after that, especially with Toboe sitting there, grinning.

~Toboe’s POV~

Hige and Kiba walked towards me. Tsume was still sleeping soundly, but I was too excited after discoverthe the events of last night. As they passed, I could smell it again. They’d done it again, just now. Hige was trying not to look at me, he lay down and tried to make his eyes avoid me. It must have been some kinda secret then, I mean with the way Hige was acting. I looked at Kiba, he seemed the same as always; indifferent.
“Someone will have to go for food, we need a meal before we venture on.” Kiba said calmly.
“I aint going, I went last time.” Said Tsume, springing to his feet. “Send the fat one, he eats the most anyway.”
“I’m not fat.” Hige snorted. I giggled at this and managed to catch Hige’s gaze. He looked at me sternly, thinning his eyes. “Toboe has to come too if I’m going.” He exclaimed.
“Fine, Toboe go with Hige for food.” Kiba said.
Did Hige think I was that dumb? He was gonna try and get me to shut up about them. Its not like I even cared that much, and its not exactly something I can shout from the hills and expect a lot of interest. I have to see how he played this one.
It wasn’t long before we’re outside running through the snow towards the rocky area. The blizzard had past and the sky hung clear in the sky. Hige was in front stalking for the scent of anything edible. We ended up with a few rabbits and a wounded pigeon; quite a feast all things considered. The cave was a few miles back so we stopped beside a large boulder for a break, resting our kills in a little pile.
We hadn’t talked at all during the hunt. I guess Hige wanted me to think he was focusing hard on sniffing out food.
“you you never answered my question before.” I said cheekily. I approached him as hey lay on the smooth rock floor and lay beside him. “What’s it like?”
“Toboe please.” He winced. “Kiba told me not to say anything, and now you know and he’ll think I told.” He seemed really upset.
I felt really bad that I was causing him all this worry and pain. “I’m sorry.” I said trying to comfort him with gentle strokes of my muzzle. “I won’t say anything, I promise. I just want to know abit.”it.”
“Yove ove Tsume don’t you?” I got very flush. “Just like you and Kiba.” was my retort.
Something weird happened, we were lying together, I ceased my comfort and looked down at him. He looked really attractive just then, in among all this talk of love and sex. The scent of his sex was still pungent even here. I leant down and kissed him, my tongue reaching deep into his wet mouth stroking his own. What the fuck was I doing?
“What are you doing?” He asked, immediately pulling back.
I panicked, and moved away from him looking down. “I’m, I’m really sorry. I just wanted…”
Was I this willing to give up on Tsume just because there was a chance that Hige would take me. Would I try the same with Kiba? I began to cry a little, feeling so stupid I turned away from Hige trying to hide my tears.
He came up and rested next to me, I hadn’t had much physical contact with members of my kind, so having Hige nuzzle me felt really good.
“It’s O.K Toboe.” He said softly. “You’re just a little confused, everyone gets like that sometimes.”
He was right; I was so in need of comfort I was willing to toss myself at anything for a soothing feeling. (How pathetic of me). I wanted Tsume, his touch, his love. I always thought he’d never want me, but seeing Kiba and Hige together, it made me think again. Hige licked my cheek. I liked this affectionate feeling I got fhim,him, though I knew now it could not be sexual, not form Hige. I’waysways seen him as bit of a loaner, and cocky. Maybe this thing with Kiba was changing him.
I tried to get up so we could go back, but he stopped me with his paw, making me turn to face him. He inclined himself forward and we kissed again. He put his tongue inside my mouth and massaged mine. Our tongues pressed and twined giving me a moist, warm feeling until Hige pull back again, leaving me feeling even more confused.
“Do it like that from now on, when you try it on Tsume.” He smiled. I titled my head and looked at him unsurely. “Well you said you wanted to know things.” We laughed together.

~Hige’s POV~

Poor little Toboe. I’d seen him differently today; I was seeing everyone different now. I never thought he was so in need like he was, I had to give him something, even if it was a kiss. Though he was quite a good kisser despite his inexperience. My worry about Kiba and our secret went a way, he wouldn’t say anything. Another thought came me, what a strange pack we were becoming. All males and all hot for each other (I was very much convinced Tsume was that way inclined.)
When we reached the cave, Toboe and I deposited our pile of meat on the ground in front of a drooling Kiba and Tsume.
“Not bad huh.” I chuckled.
“Depends how much you ate before you got batubbtubby.” Tsume scoffed, tearing into one of the rabbits.
I picked up two other rabbits, leaving the bird for Toboe, I dropped one in front of Kiba who quickly tore into it. I lay beside him with my meal. It was good seeing us all eating and enjoying ourselves. It dulled the knowledge that we had to go on, into the snow again. The thought of Kiba’s warmth again flooded my mind, it hoped we would be the same were ever we ventured. Kiba and I finished first, followed by the others. Now the problem was the final rabbit.
Tsume was first to try and snag it, but was stopped by Toboe who took it in his mouth and tried to run off, but I quickly pounced on him. Soon all four of us leaped and tussled each other over for this rabbit. It was more playful than a struggle for food.
It ended up that we split it up four ways, with Toboe smugly claiming the biggest piece for himself. After this final munch we were all completely full and rested our stomachs before the run.
“You know,” said Toboe, licking stray bits of meat from his teeth. “It wouldn’t be so bad if we stayed in a place like this. A warm den, all of us here like this. That would be like paradise for me.” He mused.
I looked over to Kiba, watching a r a reaction. He smiled at the pup’s idea. This seemed strange, of all of us Kiba was the strongest believer in finding Rakuen; I find it odd he didn’t object to it.
“That would be something.” Said Tsume, tossing away a rabbonebone. “But I don’t think the world we live in would allow for such an effortless existence.”
“We all must sleep, we will move on after the moon is high.” Kiba said. “Its getting colder now, we must huddle.”

Tsume and Toboe nestled together and after a while, Kiba decided we should go to the back of the cave; ‘For the heat’. As we travelled I saw Toboe, head rested on the sleeping Tsume, he smiled at me as we disappeared round the corner.

We’ll that’s chapter 2 for ya’ll. Next one should be up within a few days and will contain loads of Tsume/Toboe citrus-ness. R&R plz!
