“Jim, you know my views on this.”
“Gene, she was used by Hanzanko”
“And she is still an Anten 7 Jim. Look Jim, it is nothing
personal, but in order to ensure the safety of Melfina and this crew, Hanmyo
and her cats are going to have to be confined to your room, she cannot leave it
without either Susuka or Aisha attending her. Her cats likewise cannot leave unless
they are leashed. Until we have a complete disclosure from Hanmyo of the Anten
7 my policy will be in affect.”
“Gene, I told you. She is too afraid of Hanzanko to tell us
much. Why can’t you trust me?”
“Because as skipper of this ship, the safety of my crew is
my highest concern and job. My policy is for Hanmyo’s protection just as much
for everyone else Jim. It is not that I do not trust you, but trust is
something that I cannot give lightly when it concerns our safety.”
“What am I going to tell Hanmyo then?”
“The truth Jim that is all you can do. Now these are
inhibitors, (slides a bottle of pills to Jim) make sure to put one in her food
each morning. Ghilliam will be checking and if they are not being proscribed
I’ll remove Hanmyo from your room and restrict your access to her. Am I
understood Jim.”
“Yes.”
“Alright, go to her and Jim; thank Aisha for recovering
those cats. She really went out on a limb for them.”
“Thank you Gene and I will.” With that Jim left the room.
{Hmmph, Jim usually is the one we rely on to be our
conscience. With this girl though, I had to put aside myself and become the
Skipper I am, I hope he understands.}

“Remi, Mata you know you can’t catch him.” Hanmyo giggled
along with Melfina as they watched the two chase Ghilliam around the room.
[We know but it’s fun.] Was the
two’s reply.
Yawning, Hanmyo started to fall asleep as she settled back
down into Jim’s bed.
“Melfina I think it is time we let her sleep.” Susuka said
from the door.
“Alright, I needed to finish her laundry anyway so it isn’t
reeking of Carbon Dioxide.” Melfina responded as she got up from Jim’s bed.
As Melfina and Susuka left the room Remi and Mata jumped
unto the bed to join in Hanmyo’s cat nap. That was how Jim found them when he
entered his well their room 15 minutes later. At first he could only stare, as Ghilliam
shut the door behind him, at the flower that was on his well their bed. Since
her clothes were being washed, she was wearing one of his shirts as a
nightgown. Her purple hair was loose and spread out showing its radiant glory.
Still he was sad. {What’s saved affords no indication of what is lost.} Pulling
up his chair he sat down and allowed her beauty to lure him asleep.
AN. Short chapter I know but I will write more later. So
patience. I have another story Redemption in the Inu Yasha section I am working
on. Though it is on Adultfanfiction.net it is better to read on MediaMiner.org
as this site does weird things to my fics.
