Entering the house quietly she walked to her room. Cye and the others watched her enter and walk to her room lost in thought. Her bright eyes glowing with sadness. All she wanted to do was run and hide from this place from everything. ~Why is my first instinct to run?~ she asked herself. She thinks back to before she came here. She wondered if her friends missed her at all.
Flash Back
She is standing next to a tall boy with long black hair. He turns to look at her his blue-green eyes glitter. \"Anira you need to go and see your brother. I will take care of the others while your gone. We are guardians so don\'t worry to much.\" He hugs her as he speaks. She watches as another boy walks toward her. His blue streaked black hair braided back. His green cat eyes show sadness. \"I don\'t want you to go sis, but you need to meet your older brother.\" She hugs him; \"Thanks Joe-Sye!\"
End flash back
Anira took her brush off the dresser and starts brushing her her black hair. As she finishes brushing her hair she hears Cye enter her room. \"What is it you want Cye?\" She askes. Cye watches her braid her hair back; \"I just wanted to know if you wanted to talk.\" She turns to look at him. \'Damn he is so cute!\' She thought. \"I guess, What do you want to talk about?\" She looked at him. Her silvery grey eyes glittered as she watched him. Cye sat down on her bed. \"Remember telling me that guys scared you?\"
\"Yes! Why?\"
\"Well I don\'t mean to scare you. I mean no one in this house will hurt you.\"
\"I know you all won\'t hurt me. Its just.............\"
\"Just what?\"
\"I have had some bad experiences from trusting people. I am starting to act like my little brother.\"
\"You have a little brother? Does Rowen know?\"
\"No he was born after Rowen left. His name is Joe-Sye.\"
Cye handed her sketch pad back to her. \"This is yours.\"
\"Thank you\" She took it from him. \"I guess you looked in it.\"
\"Yeah\"
\"The picture of me and several girls is one my friend Mark did. Its the original guardians we have lost some of them since then. Only four of us are still alive. The picture of Mark I drew to remember him. The last picture I drew my first night here. I thought you all looked cool standing around the living room like family.\"
\"We looked like a family?\"
\"Yeah\"
Cye looks at her. After all the guys had been through they felt like family. He felt proud to know she thought they were a family. Suddenly she leaned into him and kissed him.
