Chapter 2

-------------------
Clarissa Geovani.
Born of a Semi-Welathy family.
Italian/Slovic family that is.
She was 22 years old and still un-married.
Many men came to her doorstep , but was never intrested in matrimony.
Such a pity.
"Hmph.I give up on men. They can kiss my bloody ass for all I care."She said to her mother while scrubbing the clothes in the tub.
"I don't like it when you curse , it's un lady like."
"But it's true , they're only intreseted in games , not marriage."
Her mother sighed.
"You'll find Mr. Right one day. They don't always come knocking on your doorstep proposing his act for his love for you , but you'll find him sooner or later."
Clarissa slumped down.
Scrubbing in week old water wasn't the best thing either , old water and soap mixed together gave it a fowl smell , sometimes unbearable. It's kind of useless washing clothes in this kind of water.
But someone had to do it.
and work had to get done.
The sun wasn't helping either.
--------------------------------------
"GOD DAMNIT!!!"
He slammed his fist down on to the desk.
"And tell me why again my troops have been destroyed?"
The scared, shaking soilder stood their and began to speak,
"Well...umm...we were ambushed.By German troops , sire. There was no warning at all. From the current record , all have perished.Except myself and 4 other soilders , sire."
"YOU MORTAL FOOL!GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!" he roared at the soilder and he was gladly to obliged.
He fell back against the chair and sighed.
'My army is weak.Full of weaklings.'
/Perhaps the village has stronger men?/
'No...there just mere farmers and blacksmiths.'
/It won't hurt to check it out/
His mind prooved useful. He might as well.

He did loose half of his army.

--------
The Count sent his messenger to the old village to pronounced that all men who are fit and old enough , without sickness , are to prepare themselves and to report to the Captain's head quarters.
All ages including 8 - up.

Some decided to hide their sons.

So unfortunate their consequences.
