An Unexpected Hunger
For years Usagi guarded the silver crystal from the hands of those who would abuse the power contained within. She fought countless of battles and with her soldiers at her side, Usagi never lost the heart to continue fighting and winning.
After the defeat of Mistress 9-. Usagi wondered if the Earth was finally at peace. For the time being the Earth was safe and, she would be able to live a semi-normal life. Usagi admitted that in the battle she made choices she probably should not have made. However, Usagi always tried to find the best in people and the best in Mistress 9 was the soul of a lonely little girl.
A little girl who was a senshi with so much wisdom and strength. Usagi envied the soldier of destruction, Sailor Saturn. The soldier held in her hands the power to destroy a planet. Nevertheless, the Silver Crystal had the same amount of power.
Usagi knew for a fact she was capable of destroying the Earth with only her and the Silver Crystal's powers. The young girl did not understand why she was thinking of such things. Her destiny was to save the Earth and become future Queen of Crystal Tokyo. However, the soldier knew that not everything was written in stone.
Because of these sudden dark feelings of Earth's destruction- Usagi wondered if she was craving more power. She thought about this earlier at school. The young girl did not see why she would want or need more power. Usagi had all the power she needed and that was hidden in her broach.
Usagi's thoughts were centered on Sailor Saturn and the Silver Crystal. The only disadvantage Saturn had when it came to using massive power, Hotaru would be sacrificing her life. That was the price for any soldier her used all the power they had.
She had been protecting the Silver Crystal from anything and everything. In the past Usagi pondered if the only reason she had the soldiers was because they wanted to keep the crystal safe. If that was the case Usagi could not blame them. They have given their lives for a simple and small stone more then once.
With her fingers Usagi lightly touched her broach. Closing her eyes she could feel the power on the inside. Usagi always felt her body heat up when ever she touched her broach. She knew the comforting warmth was coming from the crystal.
Laying down on her bed Usagi released a sight. In the back of her mind the Moon Princess wished she no longer needed the Silver Crystal.
