Chapter 1
Ryo,Kanto,Sage,Rowen,and Cye were outside training when White Blaze started to growl. Ryo looked over at him."White Blaze what's the matter?" he asked as he walked over to him.Before Ryo could even touch White Blaze, he started running down the trail. Ryo watched him in bewilderment. Ryo felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist. He looked over his shoulder and looked right into his boyfriend's steel grey eyes or eye as it were since his blonde hair covered his other. "What's wrong Ryo?" he asked.Ryo shrugged.
"Don't know. White Blaze just took off.Wonder what caused him to growl?" Ryo said.Sage shrugged as well. "Maybe he saw a bird or something. don't worry about it." Sgae answered unwrapping his arms from around his waist. Ryo took one last look down the trail before going back to practice.
(Few minutes later)
The boys were laying on the grass trying to catch their breath when White Blaze came back.Rowen sat up and gasped. Ryo sat up quick and saw a girl with raven black hair on his back. He rushed over to her and lifted her off White Blaze's back. He felt somehing wet on his hand and removed his hand. What he saw made him panic for the girl. It was blood. "SAGE!" He yelled. Sage appeared by his side in a matter of minutes. "What? What's the matter?" He asked. Ryo showed him his hand. "The girl she's injured." Ryo said. Sage took the girl's shoulders and held her like that so Ryo could find the wound. Ryo gently moved the girl's hair and saw her entire shirt was soaked in blood. Ryo gently lifted the back of her shirt and saw open cuts on her back bleeding. Sage and Ryo made eye contact and nodded. Ryo took the girl from his boyfriend's arms and lifted her off the ground. Sage ran ahead to tell Mia and to get his medical supplies. Ryo followed Sage at a slower pace so not to hurt the girl further. He followed Sage into the spare bedroom and laid the girl on her stomache and removed the back of her shirt. Sage started to heal her back while Ryo wiped away the blood both fresh and old. Sage also noticed past scars on her back.He also noticed a faded marking on her shoulder he leaned closer and saw it was a fire ring.'That looks very familiar.' he thought to himself as he healed her back. When they were finished Mai kick them out of the room and put a new shirt on the girl. When she finished making the girl comfortable she joined the boys outside. Ryo and Sage were still standing looking at the lake. Rowen was the first to say something. "Well what's wrong with her?" he asked. Ryo looked at him with his obsideon black eyes."She was totured that's for sure. she has scars on her back from past beatings. When she wakes up we'll be able to find out more. Sage found something interesting on her shoulder." he said.
"What was it?" Cye asked.
"It was a birthmark in the shape of a ring of fire. I only know one person with that kind of birthmark. She was a friend of mine and my sister Satsuki, but she and her family left our town and moved to Tomeada. We haven't heard from her since.That was two years ago." he said. "What was her name?" Kanto asked. "Jennifer Wanntabe."
