The New Proff of Sandgem Town
Disclaimer: Don't own Pokemon just Yuki.
Oh and for a little background since I WILL be using Japanese names;
Shirona=Cynthia

Hyouta=Roark
Yuki sat on her bed frowning down at the pokeball containing the Riolu her parents had given her. She sighed pressing the release button. The little pokemon burst out looking afraid of her and Hikari couldn't blame the pokemon. It probably sensed her anger earlier.
"It's ok. I am not angry anymore." She said in a friendly voice.
"Riolu!" It cried happily hurrying towards her to snuggle close. She hesitated before scratching behind it's ears as it cooed.
"Alright Riolu. I will try and be your trainer. And one day I will find the pokemon who helped me yesterday. What do you say? Want to be partners?"
"Riolu!"
Yuki ran a hand along her forehead because the day was very warm. But she smiled because she could see the red roofed building that signaled Sandgem Town's pokemon center.
"Good. Now I can really get started." She said hurrying foreward. She was caught off guard when she smashed right into someone hard and fell back on her ass.
"Itai!" She gasped.
"Watch where you are going!"
She looked up annoyed to see a boy a couple years older than herself glaring. He is GORGEOUS! She thought dazed for a moment. Dressed in black and purple leather, with spiky steel grey hair and steel blue eyes he looked cold but hot at the same time.
"Um..hi." She offered pushing herself to her feet.
"Don't hi me! Watch where the hell you are going Kid!"
"Kid!? Hey..! Where are you going Jerk!? Come back here!" She yelled running after him. She abruptly ran into his back when he stopped.
"What do you want Kid!?" He sneered.
"A pokemon battle! With you! One on one!" Yuki held up her Riolu's pokeball.
"Heh. Fine."
They faced eachother in the grassy feild just outside of Sandgem Town.
"Ok Riolu! It's YOUR turn!" Yuki said calling out her pokemon.
"A Riolu!? Around here? Impressive but we'll see how much exactly. Budew I chose you!"
The grass pokemon like a bud burst out bouncing up and down.
"Riolu use your Quick Attack now!' Yuki ordered.
"Bide Budew!" The boy said lazily. Budew tensed it's whole body and glowed brightly as Riolu shot foreward so fast it was almost invisible. It launched right at Budew but was knocked backwards hard barely landing.
"Rio!?" It demanded shocked and outraged.
"That attack should have hit." Yuki said in confusion.
"My Budew is using Bide. Right now she is storing up all her energy and in two more turns will unleash it all on YOUR Riolu. While she is storing, her defense goes up." The boy said smugly. Yuki scowled thinking fast. What can Riolu...
{I can use Counter you know.}
Yuki jerked in surprise as she "heard" Riolu's voice in her head.
{I..can hear you.}
"Budew unleash your energy!"
Yuki waited until right at the time, the grass pokemon unleashed it.
"Counter now!" She yelled.
"Whaaat!? Counter!?"
The attack launched right at Riolu who braced itself, absorbing all of it before launching it right back at Budew. Budew shreiked as it flew backwards slamming into the ground hard.
"Budew return now! Don't think this is over. I will beat you soon!" The boy huffed and stormed off.
"Wonderful job Riolu!" Yuki cried hugging the little pokemon who squealed happily.
"Chatot!!" A loud cry reached her ears and a feathery, flying thing crashed right into her almost knocking her off her feet.
"What the..?" She started but saw a rainbow colored bird pokemon clutching to her shirt with both feet.
"Chatot!" It cried again before bobbing it's head back and forth.
"What do we do Riolu?"
{I do not know.}
"Well we can't just leave it here. Let's bring it to the Pokemon Center."
"This Chatot will be just fine. It was just hungry is all." An ever smiling Nurse Joy said as they watched Chatot dig into a bowl of Poke Chow. The nurse set down another bowl for Riolu who daintily began to eat.
"Where do you think it came from?"
The nurse frowned slightly.
"You did not see any human trainer around?" She finally asked.
"Nobody. Did you Riolu?"
{I did not.}
"Well I will set up some flyers advertising it's dissaperence. And.."
"Excuse me Nurse Joy."
A tall young man with dark hair wearing glasses and a long white coat entered.
"Ah Professor Lucas!"
"Have you seen a..CHATOT!?" The man looked startled but happy at seeing the bird type pokemon. He hurried foreward but Chatot squawked before flying up to grip to Yuki.
"Oh? It would seem my Chatot has taken a liking to you. Would you care for Chatot?"
"What? Me!?" Yuki asked surprised.
