Death in the Plane

Well here it is folks =]
Try and think it out, you should be able to get the murder, I think I left enough clues for you ;]

~~~~~
The walls were covered in the blood of the poor woman. She was covered in slashes and had deep protruding wounds in her torso. Her head slouched down, now resting on the toilet; her body was sprawled out in disarray. There was a singular spot on the wall where the blood had been smeared, where someone had come in contact with it. Also on the floor, where there was some pooling of the blood there was another smear of a shoe print. Also in the pooled blood there was a few strands of dark hair that stood out on top of the blood.
“Hey Kudo, there are two things off.” Hattori whispered slouching down to the kid.
“Yeah, I know, it’s strange, but let’s talk to the flight attendants first. We won’t be able to do much with the crime scene now, the police will be upset if we disturb it after all.” Conan added, nodding towards the flight attendants who were now trying in vain to keep the onlookers calm. Thankfully only the first class passengers had gathered.
“This is the captain speaking, please return to your seats, we are turning on the fasten seat belt sign.” The voice came over the intercom, obviously for crowd control.
“Um excuse me. I’m a detective, Hattori Heiji.” Hattori said, introducing himself to the flight attendant. “I was wondering if you’d seen anybody come forward to the cabin with this woman?”
“Oh, I’ve heard about you. Your that high school detective from Osaka.” Hattori beamed with the name recognition, looking down at Kudo with a grin. “Yeah they say you’re almost as good as that other high school detective… you know Kudo Shinichi?” Conan grinned wider than ever as the blood drained from Hattori’s face, smile instantly changing to a glare.
“Yeah, I know him. Actually this kid is his assistant. He even helps out the Sleeping Kogoro, on his more difficult cases.” Hattori grinned and slapped Conan’s back a little harder than necessary. “He’s actually pretty decent, if you don’t mind, we’d like to ask you a few questions.”
“Oh wow, that does sound impressive. I suppose that’d be ok then.” The flight attendant replied nervously, though she did seem to be a little more relaxed in knowing that these kids were competent detectives.
“Well first things first, do you know the name of the victim?”
“Well I’ll have to check the roster, I recognize her though from where she was sitting.” The flight attendant proceeded to grab a clipboard out of a cupboard near the front of the plane. “Let’s see now. Hmm… She should be Ito Haruki.”
“Did you see anybody come into the restroom with that woman?”
“Um... Well no actually, I’m sorry; I didn’t even see her enter the restroom. She must have gone in while I was preparing the drinks.” She paused for a second, thinking. “Although, I can tell you where she was seated.” The flight attendant pointed across the cabin to a seat on the opposite isle to where Kudo and Hattori were sitting earlier. “She was here by herself I think, she didn’t talk to anyone the whole flight, that I saw. She just seemed to keep to herself really. She didn’t even look or say anything to the woman sitting next to her the whole flight; she seemed distracted and worried really.”
“Is that really so unusual? Some people just like their privacy, and others just have fears of flying.”
“Well she didn’t really seem to be afraid of flying; she was quite cheerful when she first passed me in boarding. It wasn’t until we were in the air that she seemed to be scared.”
“Thanks that’s a big help.” Thanked Hattori. “One more thing though. Do you keep knives in the pantry, which could have been used for this?”
The flight attendant shook her head. “No, all the knives that we have are plastic and fairly dull. You’d never be able to slice someone with one. It’s for safety reasons.”
“Thanks, I didn’t think so, but thought I’d ask.” Hattori said while turning with Conan to walk back down the aisle. “We’ll go talk to some of the passengers now if you don’t mind.”
The flight attendant nodded. “I don’t mind, but please try not to disturb the passengers too much.”
“We’ll be good, miss.” Conan said waiving back, before turning to catch up with Hattori, who was already down with Kazuha and Ran. Quickly running the few yards down the aisle to catch up was no trouble, and the three were already whispering amongst themselves, talking about the case.
“It’s a simple enough case.” Hattori was saying to the two of them. “All that’s left to do is find the murderer, and it’s not like they could have left here.”
“But what about the knife used, Heiji?” Kazuha questioned. “How’d they get it on the plane, and where’d it go?”
“Ah that; don’t worry about it. We already have all that figured out. Right brat?” Hattori stated confidently messing up Conan’s hair. “Anyway it should be easy enough to find the murder, since we already have a strong suspicion on who did it too.”
“What how’d you two do that so quickly?” Ran couldn’t believe it. Hattori was without a doubt a first rate detective, and Conan did pick up on a lot of small things that most people missed, but to already have the case mostly figured out after only a few minutes of glancing at the crime scene, and a few questions of a flight attendant was amazing.
“It’s an easy case Ran nii-chan.” Conan was smiling, but he had the same confident look in his eyes as always when there was a case to be found.
“Well come on squirt.” Hattori grabbed Conan by the collar and started pulling him back towards the front, before Conan turned and started walking on his own. They cut across the front of the cabin and crossed to the second aisle. “So how do you think we should do this then? Just confront the woman directly?”
“It’s worth a shot. That person is going to be edgy after just killing someone after all. That person was too careless.”
“Yeah, that person made it too easy. Almost don’t need to question a bunch of people, though I suppose it doesn’t hurt to cover your bases.”
“That’s the idea I suppose. Well let’s grab the passenger sitting next to the victim first. She’ll probably be the easiest to bring in.”
“One would think. Remember to let me do the talking; nobody is going to take a squirt seriously in a murder investigation after all.”
‘Oh and a teenager from Osaka is SOOOO much better.’ Shinichi couldn’t help but think to himself. ‘Like anyone would take a teenage detective seriously… Wait… I’m a teenage detective… Well I WAS a teenage detective, and now I’m stuck as a pre-teen detective.’ A look of grief struck Conan’s face as he was snapped back to reality when he realized that Hattori had asked him a question.
“Kudo, KUDO!” Thwack. Right across the back of Conan’s head. “Pay attention fool. Which one of those women do you think it is?” They were standing at the front of the plane, looking down the opposite aisle from where they were seated.
“Well ‘It is a capital mistake to theorize before you have all the evidence,’ (^1) so why don’t we go look for some first eh?” Thwack.
“Don’t you quote Sherlock at me fool.” Conan rubbed the back of his head from the second assault Hattori put on him in a manner of seconds. Hattori just sighed rubbing his knuckles. “Suppose your right though. Let’s go round them up.”
In their search of the aisle, the found three women who fit the description of what they knew of the culprit, one of whom was the passenger who was sitting next to Ito on the plane. Hattori was actually quite polite; for once Kudo couldn’t help but think to himself. And soon they had all three suspects rounded up, and were questioning them with the stewardess at the front of the plane.
The first of the three, the woman who was sitting next to Ito on the plane, was Takahashi Naoko. A woman around 5’3” with long black hair, and an average build. She was moderately dressed, wearing a shirt, thin jacket, skirt and heels. The second woman was Kobayashi Yasuko, tall and thin, she wore a business suit, and knee high boots that had spiked heels, which didn’t quite seem to match. Her brown hair framed her face, and came down to her shoulders in the back. The last suspect was a Hayashi Ume. A slender brunette with long wavy hair, dressed moderately in baggy pants with a tight top and a thick fluffy jacket. She wore ankle high boots as well.
“So you think one of us is the murderer huh?” Plainly stated by Hayashi. The other two girls bared shocked looks on their face, though it was hard to tell if it was from the actual statement, or the way she said it.
Hattori smiled. “We don’t THINK one of you killed Ito Haruki, we KNOW one of you did.” All of the girls stepped back a bit, shocked at Hattori’s blunt statement of fact. Conan stood back leaning against the cabin wall, watching and listening. Nobody takes a preteen detective seriously anyway. Kudo already knew who did it anyway. He knew the second she walked forward, it was too obvious, and now she was trapped. So how are you going to walk her into it Hattori?
“So why don’t you tell me why you did it?” Hattori asked, turning to the culprit.
