"So, what is the big secret you needed to tell me?" a black haired girl states as she and Sakura come into her room the following day.
"I needed to tell you this because you'd find out eventually even though certain guardian beasts would say I would need to keep this a secret," she growls in the direction of her desk. The top drawer opens and Kero pops out.
"And I still say I'd don't like those that don't have any magical powers knowing." Kero shoots back.
"I promise you Kero, she'd find out." Sakura states.
"Uh magic? Kero? What is going on?"
"Madison, get ready for the tallest tail you've ever heard. Madison, this is Kero, guardian beast of the Clow cards." Sakura introduces and Kero puffs out his chest.
"What is a Clow card?" Madison asks and Sakura shows her Windy.
"I found a book full of these cards. I pulled this one out and said its name and all the other cards went flying out of the basement." Sakura explains. "Now, I've got to capture them or they will do terrible things out in the world."
"Oooh, I get to make you battle costumes!" Madison says in glee. Sakura sweats at her friend's enthusiasm at the prospect of turning Sakura into a dress up doll. Sakura turns towards the window and gets a far away look in her eyes.
"Uh Kero, what am I...,feeling?" Sakura states.
"Ah, your natural talent is coming out. What you are feeling is a Clow card. A weakened one at that."
"I guess we better go and check out." Sakura says sighing. This wasn't what a teenage girl was supposed to be doing.

"I believe that is all, Wei." Lee states as he hand Wei the last bag.
"Good, we must get to the airport or we shall miss our flight." Wei states.
"Uh Wei, why did we get a flight so early?" Lee asks getting into the car.
"I think your mother wants to keep Meilin in the dark about you leaving. She may be a good fighter, but she's bullheaded and still needs training to be of any help on whatever your mother saw." Wei answers.
"So you believe my mother saw more than she's letting on?"
"Yes, I believe so."
"I don't know, helping a girl...,"
"When you're a little older you'll appreciate girls a little more." Wei states with a knowing smile.

"It's around here...,somewhere." Sakura states as the three look for the source of the magic. Madison stops and concentrates for a moment.
"Hear that?" Madison asks.
"Uh," Sakura says and tried to focus on whatever sound Madison was hearing. Her friend had better hearing, or Madison's ears were more sensitive. Madison could tell you if a video camera was filming or not. She even could tell you if the camera switched to a second tape.
"That way, it's in that direction." Madison reports. Sakura turns and her new magical senses tell her that the card was in that direction. The trio pick up the pace and run in that direction to find the card. When they do find the source, Sakura's eyes widen seeing a large bird half curled up in a ball. Sakura could tell somehow that the card is in pain.
"I think the card is hurt Kero." Sakura states.
"That's the Fly card in its visible form, but I don't know why it's hurt." Kero explains looking more carefully at the card.
"Maybe it landed wrong when Windy blew it away." Madison offers. Sakura approaches it carefully. It was a wounded animal and wounded animals were very dangerous.
"It's ok, why don't you return to your card form, Fly." Sakura soothes. She starts petting the head of the bird lovingly. It sighs in pleasure feeling the magic from Sakura. The bird reverts back to card form and lands in Sakura hand.
"Whoa, that was a little too easy." Kero states.
"I just put my name on it, right?" Sakura confirms with Kero pulling out a pen.
"Yep," Kero states. "That will denote that it is yours."
"And just think, I got the very first one on tape!" Madison celebrates. Sakura sweats seeing that indeed Madison had her camera.
"Uh, Madison, you better not show that to anyone else." Kero growls.
"Don't worry, Kero, this will go in my private collection." Madison says smiling.

"Hey squirt...,you almost missed dinner." Tori teases.
"Oooh!" Sakura growls and stomps on Tori's foot hard.
"Owe!" Tory shouts hopping on one foot. "Dad, I think she broke something!" Tori shouts. Mr. Avalon shakes his head at his children's antics.
"Alright you two, sit down before it gets cold." their dad says and the two sit to enjoy dinner.

"This is certainly a large place." Lee comments bringing the first of the bags into the new apartment.
"It also has an extra bedroom in case Meilin does show up.." Wei says smiling. Lee sigh at the prospect of Meilin coming. For some reason Meilin had it in her head that they were meant for each other. He runs a hand through his messy hair. It wasn't like he wasn't interested in girls, it was the fact that he didn't know if he could open up to one..
"We better go get the rest of them." Lee says and the two head back out to the car to get the rest of the luggage.

A boy wearing glasses smiles into the fire burning in the fireplace.
"And the nexus prophesy begins," he comments smiling. "Do you not believe me, Spinner?"
"Master, predicting the future isn't the best of the magical arts." Spinner, a blue creature similar in size to Kero states.
"True, but things are starting to come to pass. Once they go through the judgement, I must test them."
"Can there be two?" Spinner asks.
"There must be two, or the will shall be consumed in fire and darkness." the boy says as if he were quoting something. Spinner rolls his eyes knowing where his master got that line from. Of course, if his master was right, dark times were ahead.
