chance meeting, together again?
Chapter two - Chance meeting, together again?
Tohru unzipped the door to her tent after having gotten ready for school. "I'm going to school now mom." Tohru said looking back at a photo of her mother. Tohru hurried off to school she was early so she decided to take a small walk when she noticed a house. Tohru walked up to the house and noticed a small set of the zodiac animals. "Those are cute, but theres no cat." Tohru said.
"Whats this a girl on my porch?" A man said.
"Oh im sorry I know I shouldn't really approach someones home with out permission, I just noticed these and wanted to get a better look." Tohru said.
"Its ok I don't mind at all. You said something about the cat? so you know the story of the zodiac?" He asked.
"Oh yes my mom told me the story, and I have always liked cats." Tohru said smiling.
"I see, hmm wonder what he would think if he knew." The man said to himself quietly.
"Huh?" Tohru asked.
"Oh nothing." He said.
"Shigure are you talking nonsence to miss Tohru?" Another boy said.
"Oh Yuki you live here too." Tohru asked.
"Yes. May I ask how you came to be here at my home?" Yuki asked.
"Oh....umm.... I live near by." Tohru said smiling. Yuki and Shigure looked at eachother both thinking 'near by how is that possible'
"I see, would you like to walk to school together Tohru?" Yuki asked.
"Ok." Tohru said smiling.
"Good bye Shigure I will see you when I get home." Yuki said.
"It was nice to meet you Shigure" Tohru said smiling as she and Yuki left for school. When she arrived Arisa and Saki waited for her at the front gate of the school. "Good morning Tohru" Arisa and Saki said together hugging Tohru.
"Good morning Arisa and Saki." Tohru said smiling.
"Who is this Tohru?" Arisa asked.
"Oh! Arisa Saki this is Yuki I ran into him on my way to school today so we walked together." Tohru said.
"Nice to meet you Yuki be a good friend to our Tohru." Saki said. Yuki smiled and nodded.
"I will." Yuki said.
"Tohru you seem pale are you getting sick." Arisa asked.
"No im fine really im not sick." Tohru said smiling. She Arisa and Saki walked into the school together and when to class.
"Tohru do you have to work today after school?" Arisa asked.
"yes I do i'm sorry that I wont beable to join you after school." Tohru said smiling.
when school ended and Tohru was leaving and and passed by Yuki.
"Are you heading home miss Tohru?" Yuki asked.
"No im heading to my part time job and then ill be heading home." Tohru said. Yuki nodded and smiled
"You friends are right you do look pale so go easy will you?" Yuki said.
"Ill be fine please don't worry." Tohru said smiling as she split paths from him and headed to work. As Tohru was heading back to her tent she was feeling weak and tired but she needed to do her school homework before she could go to bed.
Yuki and Shigure were walking home from having eaten out when they notice Tohru walking in the woods along the trail to their home and decide to follow her to see where she would go. Tohru is just coming out of her tent as they walk up behind her. When she noticed then she fainted and when she awoke again she was in a house with Yuki sitting next to her. "You have a fever and need to rest." Yuki said "you can stay here and rest." Shigure walked in seeming a little unsettled. "What is it Shigure?" Yuki asked.
"There has been a landslide due to the last storm." Shigure said solemnly. Tohrus eyes widened
"it wasn't near my tent was it!" Tohru asked, she got up and ran to her camp with Yuki and Shigure right behind her. When Tohru arrived her tent was completely covered by dirt. "NO! MOM!" She cried and fell to her knees trying to dig at the dirt. "I have to get mom out. No" Tohru cried.
"Tohru I'm sure your mom would want you to get hurt." Yuki said and helped her up. "come on in the morning we can get everything together."
"But mom." Tohru said as Yuki and Shigure helped her back to their house.
"Shigure im goin out ill be back." Yuki said.
"Going to dig up her things? I'll come with you." Shigure said.
"No stay with her, I can do it." Yuki said.
"By your self?" Shigure asked.
"I never said I was going alone." Yuki said as he left. Shigure sat next to Tohru.
"I promised mom I would finish school I cant let a fever stop me from going to school." Tohru said as she passed out.
When Tohru woke up her mothers picture was sitting next to her. "Mom, mom your here how?" Tohru said to her mothers picture.
"Miss Tohru your awake. here are the rest of your things." Yuki said. Tohru sat up.
"Yuki did you dig everything up it must have taken all night." Tohru said.
"No not at all. I will take your things up stairs." Yuki said. Tohru stood up following him.
"What do you mean up stairs? I cant live here I cant burden you guys." Tohru said.
"It's not a problem Miss Tohru. You have no where else to go right?" Yuki pointed out.
"Ok but Ill do house work as payment for living here ok." Tohru said as they walked into the room.
"Its a bit stuffy in here ill open the window and air it out." Yuki said, as Yuki opened the window someone came crashing through the roof right Yuki and Tohru stood a tall orange haired boy. Tohrus eyes grew wide with surprise there was only one she knew that had hair like that.
"Kyo is that you?" Tohru asked. Kyo turned at hearing his name his eyes widened as he realized that it was Tohru his first friend that called his name. "Kyo it is you!" with out thinking Tohru ran to him and grabed him in a big hug, and just like the past he transformed into a cat. When Tohru realized that Yuki was in the room still. "Oh no Kyo im sorry I didn't think I was just so happy to see you again." Tohru said starting to cry.
"Tohru don't cry its ok he already knows he's part of my family remember I told you there were others." Kyo said softly sitting in her lap with a paw on her face.
"Is it really ok Kyo?" Tohru asked.
"Yes its really ok." Kyo said and climbed off her lap and transformed back in to a human quickly grabing his close and putting them back on. Tohru stood up and smiled at kyo.
"Yuki what was that noise is Kyo back?" Shigure said. Tohru stepped forward and slipped n a piece of wood falling into Kyo and Yuki and upon seeing Yuki aslo transform into a rat it surprised her and she turned to Shigure quickly and ended up falling into him as well and he transformed into a dog.
"I'm sorry im so aorry I didn't mean to transform you all im so sorry." Tohru said.
"WATCH WHERE YOUR WALKING NEXT TIME!" Kyo yelled at her and he imedeatly regretted it.
"Im sorry Kyo im so sorry" Tohru said crying.
"We might as well tell her I guess." Shigure said.
"She already knows." Kyo said I told her along time ago. "I met her a long time ago and she found out and don't you dare tell Akito about that I will not have her hurt because of me."
"I wont tell him about the past but I will have to tell him about this, I have to go and ask if she can stay here as well." Shigure said. "Ill be going now to do that."
Kyo got up and ran off and Tohru stood to go after him. "Its best to let him be right now." Yuki said. "Tohru if Akito wishes your memory will have to be erased you wouldn't remember meting me or Shigure or even getting to see Kyo again."
"I understand and if that happen then still be my friend and please bring Kyo to me so we may meet again." Tohru asked Yuki smiled. "Ill go make something to eat." She got up and went into the kitchen to find a mess.
"Sorry its a bit of a mess." Yuki said
"No problem. ill clean up and then make some food." Tohru said and got started on cleaning and when Yuki came back to the kitchen she was done cleaning and almost done making rice balls for the three of them.
"You made some for Kyo as well?" Yuki asked
"Yes im gonna take them to him. I figure he'll be on the roof." Tohru said. "Here, heres yours. im gonna take Kyo his." Tohru took a plate with a few more that Yukis, Yuki figured she was gonna sit and eat with him. "Kyo are you up here?" Tohru asked climbing onto the roof.
"Yes Tohru im up here." Kyo said. Tohru walked over to him "Here I brought you some food." Tohru sadi placing the plate between them and taking a riceball for herself. Kyo smiled and took one himself and took a bite.
"your cooking is as good as ever." Kyo said smiling. Tohru smiled.
"Kyo?" Tohru asked.
"Yes Tohru." Kyo said.
"Why did you not come back Kyo, I waited for you and when you didn't come I went to look for you and then I got lost and couldn't find my way back, then a boy showed up and he led me home leaving me with a hat, mom told me to go inside and she stood outside with the hat and when she came back in she told me that you might not come back and that she thinks the hat may have been yours." Tohru said.
"I had a fight with your mother when I saw the hat I got angry because it had been mine, but it blew off my head and that damn Yuki he was there and picked it up and I hated him he gets everything he wants and I hated him I still do I was mad that he found you and brought you home safe that it wasn't me that found you like I told your mom I would. so I left and didn't even say hi to you and told myself I was never gonna go see you again and I didn't, im sorry Tohru." Kyo said. Tohru laid her head on his shoulder.
"Its ok. I still like you and want to be your friend." Tohru said smiling.
next chapter should be up by the end of this week or next week
