“Yes! I’m up! I’m awake!” Artemis jumped up out of his sleep, looked around, thinking that Mina came home and wanted her bed back. He looked around and didn’t see his charge, he glanced at the clock it said 1:00 am. “Where’s Mina? She always home before midnight.”

“Over here powder puff.”

Artemis looked over to the Mina’s dresser mirror, he saw a bright light illuminating from it. He sat in front of it, and the image of Majestic woman came into view. Blond hair, purple eyes.
“Mina??” he asked.

“Your were always so cute. But no. I’m not my granddaughter. Although we look so much alike.” she smiled jovially. “It’s me!”

“Your majesty. Goddess of Venus, Queen Aphrodite! It’s a complete honor to finally meet you! I’ve only heard of your glory.” Artemis responded in awe, and gave a kitty bow.

“Bah, enough with the titles. They mean nothing when the ones I love & care aren’t happy. Artemis, I haven’t much time. I can only speak to you this way for now. My dearest Minako is in terrible danger.” She spoke.

“I’m so sorry your majesty I have failed your kingdom. The princess has resorted the drastic means to support herself. I know of no other way to dissuade her.” Artemis whimpered.

“I know. My heart is breaking whenever is see her. We are connected she and I. Although she doesn’t know this, she is medium for our world. Venus is dying. This cannot happen! If the planet literally dies, it will lose rotation, become a supernova! My dearest Minako must find her other half soon! I fear for all the other worlds. They have it in their hearts & minds that they are to forsake their own happiness for the moon princess. When that is not so! There will be no future kingdom to look forward to if all the worlds die! No future generation to carry on the power. This must not happen!” Aphrodite stated.

“But Venus what am I to do? Or any of us?” Artemis asked. “Why haven’t you spoken to her? She’s you granddaughter!”

“I’ve tried. She can no longer summon her powers. She’s become disconnected with herself. And as such lost herself. Only one person can help her. And I wished he’d shown up a year ago before this whole fiasco started! In fact I’m ticked with Serenity! She never discussed her plans with me from the beginning! I’m in a good mind to kick her ass again this way till Sunday!” Aphrodite said angered.
“How dare she use my granddaughter for her end-game! When we are done talking I’m going to find her!”

“Your majesty please. I’m sure this debate can come another time. The moon princess is safe, and your telling me the other planetary princesses are in trouble. And it’s starting with Mina??” Artemis clarified.

“I’m saying it’s already started with all of them. Haven’t you noticed they no longer spend time together? I’m sure you’ve noticed. They used to be inseparable. It’s not just school and work. They need the bigger connection. I’m the goddess love. I know of which I speak! The negaforce will gobble up this world if things don’t get straightened out in this galaxy. These girls are young women. And I for one am tired of them fighting it all alone! Now! I’ve woken up this hermit up. I’m shocked he hasn’t woken himself up!” Aphrodite spoke.

“Hermit?” Artemis asked.

“Don’t worry, he’ll come. Time and space holds no time for deities! Anyhow, when you wake up please, I beg of you, find my dearest Minako. I cannot tell you all, but I will try to stay in touch! Now scoot!” Aprodite said.
Then artemis woke up. Sitting in the middle of Mina’s bed.

“Was that real?” Artemis pondered as he stretched, and looked at the clock, it said 11:30 pm. “Oh no! Where’s Mina?”

“HURRY ARTEMIS! My dearest needs help! Call the earth prince and the moon princess!” said the Goddess of Venus.

“Well that’s my cue!” Artemis said as he leaped from the bed. “Disembodied voices! Really!”


~~Somewhere flying over Japan~~

“Well, took you long enough. I was starting to get anxious.”

“What the hell? Who is this?”

“Lord Malachite, can you honestly say you don’t remember anything?”

“Only one person call me that since I’ve been reawakened in this world. And thankfully I know that’s not his voice. I’m sure Endymion doesn’t sound like that” Malachite responded. “I’m trying to sleep please bother someone else’s dreams.”

“I most certainly will not! You’ve been deliberately ignoring your summons!”

“The wars are over. The moon & the earth are united. Enough with the bull-shite! I’m tired of it! I’m no longer a pawn for either side! I’ve done nothing to no one. And I’m doing just fine living my lonely years as such” Malachite responded bitterly.

“Bless your heart my chosen warrior you do remember!” Aphrodite said gleefully. “Now please open your eyes so we can speak.”

“What the hell!” Malachite growled as he pulled off his sleeping mask to see the lovely blonde haired goddess. “Where have I seen you before?”

“It’s me of course!” Aphrodite grinned.

“Ok my brains a little fuzzy. Should I call security?” Malachite said as he pinched the bridge of his nose. He felt a warm hand press against forehead. He quickly opened his eyes, as his memories were literally dumped on him. “Oh it’s you.”

“You were always my favorite.” Aphrodite grinned as she patted his head. “I remember when you child. You were never astonished by my many miracles. In fact you were only interested in the side effects.”

“Yes you put unsuspecting people together like chess pieces and watched to see how things play out. It was ridiculous!” Malachite frowned.

“Nonsense. I can only put people together that are meant to be together. I only work with the hearts & soul’s desire. It wouldn’t be in my nature to do otherwise.” Aphrodite chided.

“Why is it, only I can see thru your nonsense? And see you at all when others couldn’t. It was frustrating.” Malachite said.

“Because you were chosen too.” She said in a frank way. “Don’t look at me like that. I never hand picked you. There are children that are born to see beyond the veil. And other born with many other abilities. You were chosen for something much greater.”

“Forget it! I’m done! Last time I was ‘chosen’. I was ensnared by darkness. And fought on a side that wasn’t even my own to fight. And doomed myself!” Malachite snapped.

“Tit for tat!” Aphrodite smiled. “I still need you. And this time I will protect you. I can’t otherwise.”

“I haven’t said yes, your highness.” Malachite sneered, as he crossed his arms.

“I beg of you my chosen one. You are the only one that can do this. You must save Venus.” Aphrodite pleaded.

“I’ve been thru enough! I really don’t see the point in all this.” Malachite responded.

“Your like one of my own, my dearling, this is your final mission. When you accomplish this, you will be a leader of your right, with my full blessing. And no this has nothing to do with the moon kingdom. Serenity can suck an egg!” Aphrodite pleaded.

“hmmm, what is it this time? I won’t have to kill people or suck their energy will I? I don’t want to be a precious gem again.” Malachite responded, a little intrigued the Goddess of Venus with be so upset with the late Moon Queen Serenity.

“Wonderful! I’m glad you accepted! And there’s no time to waste, when this plane lands in 10 minutes, I need you to burn rubber and find my dearest.” Aphrodite responded happily as she started to fade.

“Wait a minute! What am I supposed to do? What’s the mission?” He shouted. As he glanced at his watch that read 9:20 pm.

“Save my dearest, Minako. Only you can do it. Follow her beacon of energy.” She said as she vanished.

“First Class will be landing in 10 minutes”

“Minako?…..The princess?” Malachite murmured.

“This is my notice, I can’t work here anymore Tim.” Mina said as she handed her boss and handwritten paper. Her notice that she wasn’t going to work there anymore.
Mina worked her shift. She did the best she could out there. She even had to work the floor. Which was something she loathed because the guys were so grotesque and you could feel their hard-ons. They don’t mind letting you know how hard they are.
She made a lot of cash. More than enough for the rest of rent, and enough for gas and for food a week. Till she found something else. She was thinking about applying for part-time at some of the school. Student assistant.

“Um, I think it doesn’t matter.” Mina said as she laid it down on his desk. “ I can’t work here any longer. I’m done. I need to focus on school.”

“School huh? I think your over worked and stressed. How about I give you a couple paid days off? Give you time to cool your head?” Tim said as he left his chair and approached her.

“No, this is something I’ve thought about. And I think it’s time for me to call it quits. I just wanted to show my gratitude to you and your company. You gave me work and put up with my tardiness. And I will always be grateful to you.” said plainly, not liking the vibe she’s been getting from his demeanor. He took a step right in front of her. And she stood up straight not wanting to look meek.

“As I said I can’t accept that. If you want to show gratitude, I know of way you.” Tim sneered evilly as he reached out and grabbed her breasts. “Do you know how much money I’ll lose? Cherry?”

“Let go of me! You have no right!” Mina said as she slapped his hand away. And started to move past him to the door. The music was still blazing in the club.

“I have every right!” He sneer as he back handed her, and Mina fell to the ground. “I’ve been watching you shake that tails of yours. And now I think it’s time for me to taste it.”

Mina’s eyes were blurred, she’s never felt this before not even fighting as a sailor soldier. But since she’s hasn’t been able to tap into her powers, she’s now become useless, as a regular human.

“Get away from me!” She screamed as she tried to fight him off, but he slapped her again.

“God Damn your fucking hot!” he was drooling as he dragged Mina into his back room where there was a bed.
Mina frantically looking around for something, all she could see in the dark with the clock. It was saying 12:00 am. And she could hear Tim undressing hurriedly. No one would hear her scream with the loud music going on in the background.

Mina’s last vision was of a tall figure of a man bursting into the room, kicking Tim in the back of his head.
