Chapter Twenty
Integra woke to the feeling of arms around her. She snuggled closer to the chest she was held against. "So you are awake" Alucard murmured against her ear. She shivered in response. Since his taking of her innocence she was acutely aware of his touches.
Each one seemed to take on a life of it's own, wreaking havoc on her heightened senses. He was all to aware of what she was going through and he used it against her readily. Using the opportunity to touch and stroke, to kiss and nibble.
She arched and mewled against him, pale flesh touching pale flesh. Pale hair tangled with dark as tongue tangled in her mouth. His hands slid down her body, touching that damp part of her. Sliding a finger back and forth through her folds he chuckled down at her look of rapture.
"Why are you laughing?" she asked. Alucard nipped her chin, "Because you are like a wild thing. All desire and instinct. I knew you would be". She dragged a fang against his jaw, "That so?". He grunted in response, shifting his weight to slide a long finger within her.
Integra cried out against his lips, her hips bucking toward him, wanting his touch. Alucard held her down in the darkness. His shadows crept over her body, like hungry little wet mouths. Suckling against her nipples and working in tandem with his fingers.
She scratched along his back, claws drawing the thinnest rivers of blood, from him. He hissed in pleasure at the slight pain, returning the favor against her chest. He lapped at the rivulets, growling in want. "Alucard!" she cried out as peak neared. He bit her lightly, curling his fingers and feeling her arch hard against him.
They'd barely gotten the coffin bed open and he was preparing to ravish her again. Not that she minded, strangely, she found that she didn't. It was only a well timed knock that prevented him taking her once more. With a growling sigh, Alucard lifted his head to meet Integra's eyes.
"What is it police girl?" he asked. Seras' soft and hesitant voice carried through the door, "Master you should come at once, there as been a break through". Then her footsteps told him that she had departed once more. Reluctantly he pulled from Integra's embrace. "Another time" he muttered.
Twenty minutes later, Alcuard and Integra were dressed and present in her office. Walter and Seras were scrolling across the computer screen. Eyes narrowed in concentration. Whatever they'd found didn't sit well that was clear.
The two before them had been searching tirelessly for any link, any connection. A clue, a place to begin. There was treachery afoot and they needed to find a loose end in the tangled web of lies and murder that surrounded them.
"Well what do we have?" Integra asked from the doorway. Walter shook his head, "Sir Integra this is not good. It appears that the only link present is a round table member." She scrolled through report after report.
The round table council was comprised mainly of greedy, frightened old men. If they found out about her, they'd order her death. She knew that. She also knew that they despised a young woman taking over such an illustrious post. They couldn't be trusted. Not a man.
She narrowed her eyes and took her place at the desk. She tapped at the keys and swore softly in irritation. "Alucard we need to check out the docks. There is a report that talks about a shipment of scientific earth. We know what that means". Alucard nodded, "Inbound freaks".
Suddenly she saw what the others had been talking about. "This is the link? This man, Abraham Valentes?" she asked. Walter nodded, "Yes, he was sworn in about two years ago" he told her. She sniffed daintily and reached for a cigar out of habit. "That can't be possible walter" she snapped out, "He's dead".
Alucard dropped his heavy booted feet onto the corner of her desk drawing her attention, "Well love... so are you". Integra blinked for a moment and then realization set in. He was a vampire!
