I still don't own anything but the Covenant and I am not proud of that. Who wants to own a bunch of demons? Anyway I am going to be tweaking around with some character history. "Alarm off," a groggy voice says as the owner of the voice sits up in bed. Josh reaches over to grab his glasses and puts them on. "What a night, display date." he says turning to the clock's display to see the date. A look of recognition crosses the young genius's face as he adds up the days in his mind. A certain anniversary was coming up soon. He had almost forgotten that date was coming up. In fact, it would be this Saturday. "Great, not only do I got to figure out a new weapon to combat that demon I'll also be distracted with the anniversary. A genius's work is never done." Josh says getting on his uniform.

"You three have improved quicker than I have anticipated." Darren says to his pets at his locker.
"Your reward system motivated us." Rita says smiling. Darren smirks. He had taken his pets to a in between realm where time meant nothing. Victor Karthing didn't know why he had been invited to such an establishment by Josh's homeroom teacher. Why a private parent-teacher conference was taking place in a bar was even beyond the reach of the super genius.
"I guess you didn't find out who your son's homeroom teacher was did you?"
Victor turns to see Greg Laurie leaning on his cane. A look of recognition crosses his face seeing the other man right in front of him.
"Greg? what the hell are you doing teaching of all things?" Victor asks in astonishment.
"Come, sit...,I can't stand while we have our talk." Greg says and the two find themselves a corner booth.
"Why did you quit being a doctor?" Victor asks.
"My infarction with my leg made me leave the profession for good. I could still practice, but I choose not to. I became a teacher because I challenge those hormonal teenagers to think more than just about having sex."
"Are you still tied to...?
"Nope, I cut those ties the moment I left the hospital."
"And Stacy?"

If you're on a mission from GUARD(2)...," Victor says but Gabriel stops him with a hand.
"I no longer exist in GUARD's prospective." Victor gets a shocked look on his face but Gabriel continues. "Section 32(3) has successfully taken control over most of the world's secret agencies. They don't answer to anyone but the U.N. security council now."
"You can't be serious? The U.S. wouldn't allow that to happen would they?" Victor asks all anger with his former friend gone.
"Look, I know I lied to you in the past, but in a little more than a year's time Section 32 will start to execute a plan that will kick over all the ant hills. There's going to be a major governmental change at the highest levels in every single major power's government. The U.S. will be so enthralled in their own problems that they won't be able to block it." Gabriel calmly explains.
"Oooh, serious stuff. I thought you were going to announce that you finally contracted something." Greg jokingly comments.
"How did this happen?" Victor asks in astonishment.
"Simple, no one could stop it because everyone with power was involved."
"My god, ok, then why did you...?"
"Greg was the one I got in contact with first. I couldn't get in direct contact with you because you'd fly off the handle like you did after Marian(4) died. I know you were trying to protect junior genius and I don't blame you for doing that. I'd probably do the same if I'd been in your position. Let's put all that crap behind us and work on the beginning of the Black Shield."
"Black Shield?" Victor asks.
"There are those who quit their secret agencies that don't want to see Section 32 win. We now call ourselves the Black Shield."
"Hm, I doubt that you could seduce those within Section 32 like you could with your normal victims." Greg says smirking.
"Actually you'd be surprised, doc." Gabriel replies with a lecherous smile.
"All right, I'm willing to put our past behind us in order to stop this. So, what do you need from me?" Victor asks.
"Go back to being Q again, Vee." Gabriel answers.
"Hm, but I'll only do this on one condition." Victor says becoming serious.
"Wait, don't tell me, I can guess, keep my godson out of it right?" Gabriel asks and Victor nods. "All right, but how long can you keep him in the dark?"
"As long as I can." Victor answers simply.
"And what about the doc?" Greg asks smirking.
"You doc...,you need to get my messages to Vee. And to be on standby if one of our agents contracts something that only the great Laurie can treat." he says smiling.
"Too easy of a job for me. You think Vee over here can handle going back to being the one providing all sorts of cool gadgets?" Greg asks grinning at Victor.
"Yep. He might not admit it, but he enjoys it too much and he knows it." Gabriel says with a grin on his face.
"Your both nuts." Victor says shaking his head.
"Now, how about a toast to bright eyes(5)?" Gabriel asks and the two other men nod.
"I'm going to say this once Gabriel, try and seduce my son into helping you..." Victor starts to threaten, but Greg stops him by tapping Victor's leg with his cane.
"No one is going to do that unless they want to be castrated by Ms. Taylor, and I mean the older Ms. Taylor." Greg states smirking.
"Who...?" Gabriel starts to ask but Greg beats him to it by answering.
"She's the most powerful and influential woman in this town who just so happens to be the mother of Madison Taylor, junior genius's girlfriend as you would put it sex angel." Greg says while Gabriel stops himself from spitting out his drink while Victor looked floored.

"Is Black Shield going to set up shop here?" Victor questions.
"Give us about three months and we'll have a local branch here soon enough. What, eager to see me more often again Vee?" Gabriel jokes.
"Not really, but I'll just have to put up with you." Victor retorts.

"Get to the park...,it's Darren. Is Wulf with you?"
"Yeah," Josh answers. We'll be there shortly." he finishes and closes the connection.
"Trouble?" Wulf asks.
"Our incubus has decided to attack again."
"Glad I never leave home without my hammer." Wulf responds smirking.
"Hold on, I'm going to try something new with the retrieval program."
"Just what are you...?" he starts to say but the two disappear in a flash of light.

"Why did you do that?" Sakura asks as she, Lee, and Keroberos prepare to fight the demon.
"Even with the increase of power I've obtained it's still not enough to combat a group of heroes with such talents. Oh, I can crush the two of you but you would never allow yourselves to be caught off guard like that." Darren explains.
"Return my friends back to normal now!" Sakura demands.
"Why should I? I'm having too much fun letting them feed off my seed." Darren says energizing his energy whip.
"Demon Card! Release and dispel!" Sakura cries out.
'Well, let's see if I can take this thing without overtaxing my power.' Darren thinks preparing himself.

"You know Wulf, if you were to give up...," Chelsea starts to say but Wulf immediately cuts her off.
"Giving up isn't in our family's vocabulary." he says swinging the wooden handle for Chelsea's head in order to knock her out. She catches it and holds it in place.
"All right, let's see who's stronger, a boy or a girl." she snarls pushing back against Wulf's efforts.

"I've defeated your demon card, mistress. You've got nothing left to combat me." Darren says lightly breathing. He had struggled fighting against the card but had finally forced the card to go back into it's card form.
'Release us," the combined voices of the lovers card sends to Sakura.

4. Marian Karthing, Josh's mother, if that wasn't obvious to the reader. I took this spelling because it was the last time in the above part mentioned that she was mentioned. If you read it you'll see both Mirian and Marian. I think it was a typing booboo on his part, unless he tells me that it was Mirian.

5. Nickname for Marian that Gabriel likes to use.
