Sleeping in Class?

The two Avalon siblings were working frantically to get all the chores done. Their father was at the university working on a presentation for a class., so Tori and Sakura volunteered to do all the chores. Once all the cleaning was done, Tori collapses onto the couch.
"Man, how does dad do it? What are you doing squirt?" Tori asks.
"I'm gong to make dad a snack and take it to him." Sakura states going into the kitchen.
"We've already done our part for dad...,there's no reason to to that." Tori states. He didn't want her messing up the kitchen just after they had cleaned it. Nor did he want her going out where she could bump into that Lee brat.
"I know we cleaned the house from top to bottom, but I just feel like I need to do more." Sakura says and Tori sighs.
"You better clean up after your done then, squirt. I'm tired and I've still got to to to work later today. So if I wake up after my nap and this kitchen isn't as clean as I left it, squirt," he says threatening.
"Don't worry Tori, it'll be spotless when I'm finish with dad's snack." she replies and Tori drags his tired body up the stairs.

'What is going on around here?[' Josh thinks to himself. Everyone's walking around like they are about to fall asleep.'
"Josh? What are you doing here?" Sakura asks.
"Oh, hey Sakura. A friend of my father's wanted my dad to give a guest lecture today. I'm guessing your dad teaches here as well?"
"Yeah, I fixed my dad a snack and brought it to him. He's working on a very important presentation."
"Sakura, do you notice something strange about the people walking around us?" Josh asks as the two turn a corner.
"Uh...," Sakura thinks and then notices the drowsy looks on most of the students and teachers they come across. She almost stumbles over someone sleeping on the floor. Fortunately, Josh makes sure that she doesn't fall.
"Uh Sakura, could this be one of those...,cards?" he asks and Sakura's eyes widen. She reaches out with her magical senses to feel a card somewhere on the campus.
"Come on, we better go find it."
"Uh, I don't think I'll be able to help in that department. Shouldn't you call Lee?" Josh asks.
"No time!" Sakura says as she drags the boy down the hall.

"Dad!" Sakura shouts seeing her father dead asleep. She shakes him, but he doesn't wake up.
"What in the world is that?" Josh asks feeling a little drowsy. Sakura turns and sees a tiny periwinkle fairy with a star on its forehead and one overlarge feathered ear. It appeared to be carrying a wand in its hand as well.
"That's the visible form of the card. Windy! Release and dispel!" Sakura commands. Windy chases the card throughout the room. It manages to trap the card within its winds.
"There must be some sort of scientific explanation for this." Josh quietly comments.
"Sleep Card! Return to your power confined!" she shouts and the card returns to card form.

"Let me get this right, Sleep was at the university and it was in your dad's office?" Lee says. The two were talking on the phone since Tori wasn't letting out of the house the moment she came back.
"Yeah. I had to get it before it kept everyone asleep forever." Sakura explains.
"Josh was there? I doubt he was much use."
"well, it was all I had at the time." Sakura replies.
"I'd probably wouldn't be able to get out of the apartment with Meilin watching me." Lee states.
"Oh, I think we've another couple in the works." Sakura says giggling.
"Oh boy," Lee says rolling his eyes.
"Josh asked about Madison after I finished helping my dad finish his presentation. I think he likes her and if they get together I'll be able to torture her for once." she says and the two laugh. "I'll bring the card for you to sign tomorrow at school." she adds. Kero rolls his eyes as he continues to play his game.
'Why does she do that? Just because they are 'dating' doesn't mean that they can sign every single card! Yue won't like this. He won't like it at all. The cards will be divided against whatever Yue's final judgement will be. What if they both beat him? What then? Oooh! Why can't the kid just go home!'
