'How did I get stuck cleaning up the science lab? You'd think these teachers think I didn't grow up in a lab.' Josh complains. He turns off the light and heads out of the room and down the hall. He stops hearing singing coming from the opposite direction he'd been going. Attracted to it, the boy genius heads for the source of the singing. He opens the door to the music room to see...,
"Nothing? I swore I heard singing coming from in here." he says to himself. He shakes his head and decides to leave the school before anything else strange happened. If that was a card, he didn't have the proper tools to deal with it. He would just have to let certain people know about it later.

"C'mon, Nikki, you know Sakura doesn't like ghost stories." Chelsea states. "Besides, didn't Zachary start that in the first place?"
"No, Zachary has just been spreading it around." Nikki says.

"In here?" Lee asks during lunch as he and Josh examine the music room.
"Yeah. I hear the sound of a girl singing, I open the door, and nothing's there. Do these cards like driving us normal folk crazy?" Josh asks exasperatedly.
"They are right now akin to freed spirits. They can do whatever they want. Fortunately, this one is harmless if I know which one this is."
"So, it was a card?"
"Yeah, c'mon let's go." Lee states and the two boys leave.

"Well well well, if it isn't Lee and his little girlfriend." Kero taunts. "So, you felt it too, or did you just follow Sakura?"
"Actually it was Josh that told Lee about it." Madison says smiling and starts filming.
"What!?" Kero shouts.
"Stuff it you stuffed animal." Meilin shoots back.
"If you'd keep your little boyfriend away from Sakura...!" Kero growls.
"Well, if you little twit of a card captor would stay away from my Lee!" Meilin shouts. The two didn't realize that Lee and Sakura had completely ignored their other companions and with Madison following them, go inside.
"With friends like those, who needs Clow cards." Lee says dryly and Sakura giggles. The two quiet down and listen out for the singing. Hearing the singing, the two start running. Ten seconds later, a guardian beast and one hot headed Meilin come running as well.

"Meilin," Lee growls at Meilin. She had tried to attack the card the moment Lee had opened the door to the music room. Meilin bites her lip. She knew that look. He wasn't too happy with her at the moment.
"Lee, I can feel it. It's in this direction." Sakura says and Lee turns away from Meilin and begins following Sakura. Meilin blushes realizing that Lee probably won't talk to her for at least the rest of the capture.

"Which one is it?" Sakura asks.
"Song." Lee replies.
"Song?" she asks.
"Yeah. It's one of the harmless cards. It copies any song it likes." Lee says and Kero sighs realizing the kid knew his stuff.
"Hey," Sakura says slowing as they near the stairwell, "that's the song you've been practicing in chorus." Madison listens and she nods.
"I guess it likes the song I sang." Madison says smiling.
"Madison, quickly, start singing. That'll lure the card out and Sakura can capture it. If it feels threatened it'll never let us get near it." Lee explains. Madison starts singing and Lee and Sakura see a young girl wearing a blue and lavender dress and on her head she wears a bluish-lavender headgear. The headgear seems to resemble a treble clef, and the dress resembles the front of a string instrument.
"Song card, return to your power confined." Sakura quietly says taping the visible form of the card softly with the staff. The card is sealed away and the pair put their names to the back of the card. Lee turns his amber gaze to Meilin and she could see that it was that hard, cold stare that he had perfected.
"Go back to the apartment. I'm going to make sure Sakura gets home safely. Soon, the two of us are going to have a long talk. I might not be able to send you back home, but it appears I'll have to explain certain things to you." Meilin bites her lip. She was about to lash out at him, but that cold gaze hadn't been turned upon her in quite some time. He turns away from her and she quickly sees the ice melt from his eyes as he looks at Sakura. "C'mon, I'll get you home."

"don't be too hard on her, she my not have magical powers, but she thinks she can help." Sakura states.
"I know, but she's so bull headed that she might get hurt attacking one of the more aggressive cards." he growls running a hand through his hair. "We grew up together so I do see her as another sister."
"Another sister?" Sakura asks.
"I've got four of them...,boundless amounts of energy those four...," Lee says shaking his head. "I think liquid sugar flows through their veins." he says and Sakura giggles. The hairs on Lee's neck tingle and Lee stiffens up.
"what?" Another card?" she asks.
"No, we're being followed." Lee quietly states.
'He's right...,if I'm right that's...,' Kero thinks attached to Sakura's back.
"Well, love birds taking a midnight stroll. You two are nothing compared to my brother or my uncle." a shadowy figure around Lee's height states.
"Who are you!?" Lee barks.
"Oh, why don't you ask that little guardian beast." the figure says now coming into the light of one of the street lamps.
"Sian...,if you're here then...," Kero says looking scared out of his mind.
"Uncle Fei is watching and waiting, Kero. But don't worry, we'll crush these two after the last card is captured. We'll let the two of you do the work and once you are dead, the cards will belong to my uncle." Sian chuckles.
"Uncle Fei? Clow's father sent you and your uncle to a dark dimension!" Lee shouts.
"Thank the father of that scientist friend of yours. Fei put the idea of using the dimension we were sealed in to test his little toys." Sian says smirking. "See you when all the cards are collected." Sian laughs and vanishes in flames.
'No, this can't be happening! Fei and Sian are going to try it again! It looks like I have got no choice. I'll have to let these two work together. If I don't, Fei will twist the cards to his own sick means.' Kero thinks. The beast could never have imagine that the darker branch of the Reed family would show itself again.
