I say at the most three to four more parts before I end this arc. Don't worry, there's still more to come. Also, I'm doing something a little different with this part. You'll see when you read it.

It was noon on a summer's day at the Drumhilde residence. With school out, There' was not much 'normal' things for Wulf to do. Oh sure, there were the everyday household chores he did for his aunt, but to a descendent of Bran, these chores were trivial. At the moment, Wulf and his aunt were eating lunch.
"How is Tao doing with Icious?" Matilda asks.
"When he first came here, I thought I had to fight off an arrogant holy sage that thought too much of himself. This thing about Icious has changed him." Wulf responds.

/Flashback Begins\

It had been a couple of days since the last encounter with Darren. Tao looked down at the half succubus. He removed the sutra that was keeping her asleep. Her eyes open to see the one who had nabbed her. Those horrid memories tried to come back to the surface, but she beats them back.
"Why haven't you...?" she begins to asks but Tao stopped her.
"You may have demon blood running through your veins, but your heart is human."
"Please...,kill me! I can't take these memories." she cried out.
"Listen to me," Tao said lifting her chin, "you must overcome this. Your mother must have a reason for carrying you to term. You must avenge her death by facing your half brother."
"I...,can't," she said in a small voice.
"Yes you can, and I'll help you." Tao said sincerely.

/Flashback Ends\

"Has he done what he promised?" Wulf's aunt asks.
Wulf smiles and answers, "Yes."

/Flashback Begins\

"Tao, you have something to report?" one of the elders of his family asked the ghostly image of Tao.
"Yes. Our seers were correct about a very powerful demon coming to the same place where Lee Shaoran lives currently. There's been an unforeseen complication, though."
"What?"
"His sister is a half succubus who was violated by him. I wish to request to continue to rehabilitate her and that the arrange marriage between myself and Meilin Rae be dissolved."
"Why do you wish to dissolve the marriage?"
"Meilin is seeing a Drumhilde."
"A Drumhilde?"
"Yes. A direct descendent if I'm not mistaken. Lee's family will benefit more from that marriage than the marriage between myself and Meilin."
"What will you do to continue the line yourself?"
"She's slowly becoming attached to me. I wish to care for her."
"Hm, it is not unprecedented for this to happen. Demons who have reformed usually need our protection from those who wouldn't understand. We shall grant your requests and will inform Shaoran's family's elders of our decision."
"Thank you elders." Tao said, bowed, and vanished.

/Flashback Ends\

"I'm glad that Darren's somewhere having to recharge himself though." Wulf comments.
"Why?" his aunt asks.
I'm concerned that what Madison has been roped into doing will make her an even bigger target." he starts to explain.

/Flashback Begins\

'Why am I doing this?' Madison thought. 'I get a mysterious note to come to one of the classrooms after school with the reason not given. Oh well, I doubt that this would be another kidnapping attempt. That would just be a silly way to get me.' Madison opened the door to see a group of seniors and college aged students seated in the room.
"What's going on here?" Madison asked.
"You could say that we're a grassroots group that doesn't want to see Clayton as mayor of this town. We all know what she wants to do to those hangouts that all of us frequent." a male, probably near twenty-one, explains.
"What do you guys want from me?" Madison asked.
"Your mother is involved in Craygon's campaign...,we want...,no, need you to be our voice and direct line to Rendle."

/Flashback Ends\

"Did she accept it?" Matilda asks.
"She did. If Clayton finds out she'll probably redouble her efforts on kidnapping Madison."
"Has Josh found the connection yet?"
"Not yet, but he's bound and determined to. Hopefully he will and Clayton will be forced to drop out of the race."
"What about that conversation you guys had with Zachary?"
Wulf slaps his forehead. Zachary stumbling on that last battle with Darren certainly was unexpected.

/Flashback Begins\

Lee, Wulf, and Josh were outside of the school
waiting on the girls. They then see Zackary approaching them.
"What were you guys doing at the park last Saturday?" Zachary asked. The three boys look at each other with the same question on their minds. 'What did you see and how much of it did you see?'
"what are you talking about?" Wulf asked calmly.
"I saw you three plus Sakura, Madison, and Meilin fighting what looked like a demon. You had a sword Lee, you were using a hammer Wulf, and I don't even know what the heck you had Josh."
"Sakura' Lee sent in worried tones.
'What?" Sakura replied.
'We've got a problem.' Lee started to explain and opens his mind further to let her listen in as well.
"Are you making up another one of your stories?" Josh asked trying to keep cool.
"I know what I saw. What is Darren really and what has he done to Chelsea and the other girls?" Zach asked.
'That is a problem.' Sakura sent.
"What do we do?'
'You would think that your ancestor would have made a card for this sort of thing.'
'He was powerful enough to erase memories on his own. Unfortunately neither of us are that strong nor have knowledge of those spells yet.'
'I guess we put him to sleep and take him home. I guess we could tell his mother that he's running a slight fever and that his stories are becoming more out their than normal.'
"Look I know what I saw...," Zachary protested, but he drifted off to sleep and Lee and Wulf catch him.
"Let's get him home. Hopefully his mother will get him to think that he really didn't see us fighting Darren." Lee said.

/Flashback Ends\

"If the situation wasn't so serious then it would have been funny." Wulf smiles sardonically.
"What if he sees what he thought he saw a second time?"
"Then, I guess we'll have no choice in telling him." Wulf says and starts to clear the dishes.

He sits in the middle of the floor with his legs crossed in front of him. His breaths come out in a deep calming rhythm. Lee was trying to strengthen the growing bond with the element of light. It was difficult to connect to it like this because he had to ignore the element of electricity that flowed through the wiring of the building. He had to be able to cast it without having to rely on linking with Sakura to do it. His overly focused mind was suddenly flooded with images. He quickly gets to his feet and leaves the training room.
"Meilin!" Lee barks out.
"What!?" was the loud response Lee gets from Meilin's room.
"Call Wulf! Sakura and Madison have been kidnapped!" Lee shouts pulling out his own phone to call Josh.

'I wonder what Bran would think of one of his descendents having to wash dishes?' Wulf muses until he hears the phone in his hip pocket ring. Checking the number, he sees that it's Meilin.
"I'll..." Wulf begins but Meilin stops him.
"Madison and Sakura have been nabbed."
"What?" Wulf asks in disbelief.
"Sakura must have gotten a message to Lee through that link of theirs."
"I'll call...,"
"Lee's already done that." Meilin says and tells Wulf where to meet.
"Aunt Matilda!" Wulf calls.
"Another kidnapping?"
"Yeah, they got both Sakura and Madison this time." he explains as he goes to his room to get his hammer.

"Why did he order us to grab the green eyed girl as well?" one of the gangsters asks.
""She's one of Taylor's friends. Boss probably wants to know about those strange body guards that helped her escape those last two times." a second answers. A group of over half a dozen men had gotten the jump on Madison and Sakura. Currently, the two girls were being held in a room, gagged, lying on the floor, with their wrists tied behind their backs.
"Hey, the boss wants to see the emerald eyed girl first." a third says approaching the two guarding the door.

"How many hideouts do these guys have anyway?" Meilin asks.
"They've separated the two. There taking Sakura to see their boss." Lee states trying to keep up with the images he was receiving.
"Damn," Wulf swears.
"Meilin, you come with me. We'll get Sakura. Wulf, you and Josh get Madison." Lee says.
"I'll take care of the breaker box." Josh adds.

"All right you, who are those body guards that are posing as your friend's friends?" the boss asks. They had sat Sakura under a light with her hands still tied behind her.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Sakura says playing dumb. Lee and the others were coming.
"I don't believe you. You spend the most time with young Ms. Taylor. You would have to know about all of her body guards."
"I didn't even know she...," Sakura starts to say but she is cut off when the power goes out.
"Not again! Secure that damn door!" the boss orders. Four men take positions to each side of the door.

"The lights went out again." the first guard notes.
"Keep your eyes opened." the second advises.
"How can I see...?" he starts but he hits the ground.
"Hey! what...!?" the second tries to shout but he too falls to the ground stunned.
"This is getting a little too easy." Josh comments as Wulf breaks down the door. The two run in to find Madison was burning her way through the ropes with the laser component of the ring. She finally gets the ropes off and removes the gag.
"They put us in a room with a camera in it. I couldn't use the ring until you knocked out the power, Josh." Madison explains.
"C'mon, lets catch back up to Lee and Meilin." Wulf says and the three dash back out of the room.

The guards that had been waiting on the other side of the door had been surprised when the door fell off its hinges. Meilin quickly forces the four men to drop their guns. Before They try to reach for their other weapons electric stun needles hit the four knocking them out.
"Who are you!?" the boss asks.
"You're not in a position to be asking questions now are you?" Madison asks while Lee cuts the ropes holding Sakura.
"What are you talking about?" the boss asks.
"You work for Helena Clayton, don't you?" Madison asks.
"No, we are paid by her husband." the boss spits out.
"But you're doing this to help Clayton win the election aren't you?" Madison asks.
"We do a job for the right price." the boss says.
"That's all I wanted to hear. Did you get that?" Madison asks Josh. The boss couldn't tell who or how many was in the room with him.
"Yep, every word." Josh answers.
"What!?" the boss shouts.
"See you later." Madison says and the group leaves.

"Damn it! Your criminal connections almost got us exposed!" Helena Clayton rants at her husband.
"But it was...,"
"Shut up! I'm tired of your excuses. Fortunately, since I'm tied to certain people I can get this crap cleared up without anyone asking any questions. I guess I'll have to do this myself." she says and pulls out a black cell phone.
"You're not...,"
"I am. And this time there won't be any mistakes!"

"You're what!?" the head elder of Lee's family asks stunned.
"The marriage between Tao and Meilin is hereby dissolved. Our families' alliance doesn't need this marriage." the head elder of Tao's family explains.
"That's it! I've had it up to here with those two doing whatever they want! I want all of the mages and ninjas of this family ready to go!" the head elder rants. He looks to see that no one was doing anything. "Didn't any of you idiots hear what I've just asked!?"
"They did, but we aren't going to follow those orders, head elder." a second elder states. The old men representing Tao's family had quickly left. They didn't want to be caught in a family civil war.
"What!?" the head elder shouts.
"There will be no more arranged marriages for either Meilin or Lee. If they've chosen this path then they will walk it." the other elder says. The head elder silently fumes as Yelan smirks.

"Phew, that's over." Eli states.
"What did you do, master?" Spinner asks.
"I just implanted the idea that if Meilin does marry Wulf that the family would benefit from it better than the two cousins marrying."
"Why are you interfering in this?" Spinner asks.
"The bond that Lee and Sakura have forged will be the key in defeating Darren and purifying the demonic essence in Sakura's friends. That's why the lover's card did what it did. It had a suspicion that Darren would return for it. I guess I should have left that card in the deck to begin with. Now, I think that Julian and Tory are returning back to Readington." Eli says changing the view on the mirror.

"What!? What do you mean you're moving back in!?" Sakura rants.
"That's right, squirt." Tory replies.
"Why couldn't you and Julian get an apartment!?"
"I'm not staying with those two rabbits again! I need some sleep. Besides, since dad won't watch you while you're with that Lee brat I better be the one to baby sit the two of you." Tory says smirking.
"Oooh! Dad! Tory is being overprotective again!" Sakura yells.

"It's a shame that Tory didn't move in with us." Ruby says as she lays beside Julian as the two lay on a mattress.
"I think he wanted to continue to protect his sister again." Julian replies putting an arm around Ruby. "I guess we both better get jobs if we want proper furniture." he adds.
"Hm, it's like we're married, isn't it?" Ruby asks teasingly.
'Damn it...,not again. Can't Julian control himself around her?' Yue asks himself. 'At least I'm now close enough to help Sakura against Darren. I'll also have to remember to ask Kero about this desire that humans have that drive them to mate so much.' Yue mentally notes. He'd give Julian an hour before reconnecting to his senses again.
