In love and war (1)
Barrie18, I hope I can surprise you with this one. It seems that sometimes I really love to travel light, or, otherwise, this would not be a love story that I like to write. Jishe, darling, don\'t worry, I could never ever hold something like that against you. I hope you will not work yourself to death and I hope that I can provide you with a little entertainment for the time being.
Iason was sitting behind his desk, clutching his long fingers on the last reports coming from the battlefield. Because the attacks were drawing closer and closer, even if the rebels’ operations only aimed at rendering useless key parts of the grid all over Midas. It was quite obvious by now that the rebels did not intend to cause human casulties, but to cause enough damage to draw attention to them. “What are you schemming now, Riki? Do you really think that Jupiter would hesitate to drawn your so called revolution in blood? And I will have to think of a way of making it happen? Your world, as you know it, will end; Ceres will never be able to cope with what she has in store for them.” And Iason pondered why Jupiter had not decided, so far, to wipe out Ceres from the face of Amoi. Revolution had been there before, and from Dana Bahn, the flame of hope was rising once more. Why did she take the chances with those ill-bred mongrels? “Aren’t you prejudiced, Iason? You fucked a mongrel and enjoyed it. More even, he became special to you. How does this sit with your so called high morales?” He wished that he could quenched those suffocating thoughts, yet he realized that, when Jupiter’s order would come, then he would be faced with the toughest decision in his entire life; how would he be able to command the blood bath when every mongrel killed would have Riki’s face?
Raoul entered the room, sadness and sorrow written all over his beautiful features.
- How are you, Iason?
- Raoul, can you think of a way to get them out of there, unharmed?
His friend sighed.
- To pull them out from the line of fire?
He rummaged through his right pocket, his thumbs caressing the controls.
- There may be a way to locate them…
Even if he had not promised to Guy, it would have been obvious that Raoul was to never use that. Yet, Raoul felt compelled to do so, to try to save Guy’s life. Maybe Iason did not tell him everything, but he knew that a resolution from Jupiter’s part was on its way. And it could only mean one thing. So he took the little remote from his pocket, which he carried around all the time and placed it on Iason’s desk.
- What’s this, Raoul?
- This is the control from Guy’s ring.
- How…?
- He chose to keep that, … as a souvenir from me. I had just turned it off.
- You are a helpless romantic, aren’t you?
Iason took the control in his palm and asked tentatively:
- May I …?
Raoul nodded and raised his sleeve to watch the screen incorporated in a fancy bracelet. He frowned.
- They must be somewhere where the GPS cannot reach.
Iason knew it, already.
- Dana Bahn. But, Raoul, this is good. They will not stay like this forever. When they make a move, we will see it, right?
Raoul nodded again, feeling extremely tired. He elegantly sat on a neatly adorned chair, facing Iason. His friend was the first to talk.
- You know, Raoul, I have been quite an ass with you for the last months. I can barely understand how you can stand me on a daily basis.
- You got softer, Raoul chuckled. You would not have said this before.
- Before?
- Before Riki. You know well what I am talking about.
It was Iason’s turn to chuckle.
- You almost never say anything bad to me, Raoul. You are not just my best friend, but the best friend anyone would wish for. Where would I be without you?
- You’re flattering me. Something you want?
- Eh, you see right through me. The thing is that I want to ask you something, but, if you don’t want to answer, I will respect that.
- Please, go ahead, Iason. There is only one way to find your answers.
Iason got up from the chair and slowly moved through the room.
- How was your relationship with Guy?
- I … love him, but, …
- But …?
- But the feeling is not mutual.
Iason sighed.
- He is still in love with Riki.
- Otherwise, I guess he would not have put his life on the line to save him.
- I guess so. Yet, these mongrels seem to share some sort of bond that does not always cater to love, but to friendship and fellowship. Tell me, Raoul, did Guy really resist your charms? I find it so hard to believe.
Raoul smiled at the compliment.
- We had great times between the sheets. He didn’t complain.
Iason snorted.
- As always, you are modest. Why did he keep the pet ring?
- He wanted something to remind him of me.
- Then he feels something for you.
- I don’t know, Iason, I really don’t. Maybe he just wanted to humour me.
- I honestly believe that this is not the case. The pet ring? It must be something serious.
- I would very much love to think that way, too.
In the darkness of his room, Guy was caressing the bracelet that was so tight, it almost seemed carved into his wrist. He loved that tightness, it kept him on his feet; it gave him a sense of reality that he felt the need to clinge on to these days. Riki was back in full force, his actions were daring, as always; he was truly the leader that could fire up the spark in everybody around. He had to admit it: Riki had grown up. Guy sighed deeply. “It was just not meant to be.” And there was another thing that crawled inside his dreams lately. When Riki was away from him, he used to dream of his face. The need, the rejection, and all that, brought it back, even if they were only separated by walls, and that only at night. But, while he was asleep, the face in his dream had begun to change sureptitiously. He was surprised to feel strands of soft hair caressing his cheek, while he was away in his dreams. The hair of the dormant angel was copperish blond, and the eyes were no longer pitch black, but emerald green, tinged with humor and good will. Guy thought bitterly: “Now, that Raoul is far away, I dream of him?” He continued to touch the bracelet, caressing its surface. Memories of heated nights came flooding him. The need was there and it could not be denied. Carelessly, Guy let a hand travel to unzip his flier and take out his half hard dick. He whispered Raoul’s name, imagining the Blondie’s hands caressing his body from head to toes. He remembered well how Raoul used to take his time, preparing him, long foreplay that made his head spin, and his lips whisper words of surrender, of plea to be taken, to be penetrated. A tongue that used to trace his jaw until it reached his lips; even teeth chewing playfully on his mouth; little nips on his neck, going down, biting on his already hard nipples. And then, the skillfull wet tongue reaching between his tighs, warm air blown over his erect shaft, before he was engolfed in the hot wetness. Raoul used to take his time ravishing him, sucking him dry; always the considerate lover, he wanted to make Guy come first. Then he took Guy, face to face, with Guy’s legs wrapped around him, on his fours, like an animal, against the minibar, with Guy’s legs impossibly stretched, in the bathtub, with Guy on top … Guy began pumping hard, eyes tight, lips quivering, pleading: “Raoul, Raoul…” His semen bursted from his young manhood, splattering all over his chest and his belly. He panted heavily; it felt better, not holding back, letting Raoul open the door to his fantasies. He fell asleep, smiling for the first time in many days.
- What with that bracelet, Guy?
- Hm…
- You seem lost in thoughts.
- I do, don’t I?
- It’s from him, isn’t it?
- Yes, it is.
But Guy didn’t share with Riki the fact that it was his pet ring he was wearing. Riki brushed his shoulder in a friendly gesture, his eyes smiling mischieviously.
- He’s quite something, isn’t he?
Guy smiled back, a little shy, a surge of blood coming to his cheeks.
- I don’t know what to say, Riki. You know how I feel for you.
- Guy, shh, you don’t have to explain yourself. So what if you got yourself a Blondie? I did, too. Just imagine …
Riki’s throat tightened with laughter, his whole body shaking.
- Imagine, Guy, how would it be if we were the masters, and them, the pets?
Guy began chuckling.
- You have a dirty imagination there, Riki. But it would be pretty funky, Guy said, slurring the words in a sexy way, if you could turn home to a chained Iason. Have him crawl on his fours, butt naked, and put his head on your lap, asking politely if you are in the mood to penetrate his ass.
- Hi, hi, I bet Raoul would be quite a picture in a thong, all sprawled on the bed, with his hips up. “Oh, please, master Guy, I have an opening waiting to be filled”.
- Oh, Jupiter, Riki, you surely know how to crack a laughter!
They were now laughing hysterically, eyes watered, flushed cheeks, leaning into one another like in the old days. Guy stopped first, drying his eyes with one sleeve.
- Things changed, didn’t they? He sounded melancholic.
- I guess they did, Guy. But don’t worry, our friendship will never die. We’re both mongrels, this is our world, and we will take it back.
- But … don’t you ever wonder…? How can we take Iason and Raoul out of this?
- I’m thinking of a plan, let’s talk about it. I can use another good head for this one.
The evening was announcing as quite boring. Yet, Raoul and Iason had to attend. The room was filled with Blondies; the atmosphere was elegant, but it did nothing for them.
- Did you see any movement on that screen?
- No, Raoul answered, frowning, it seems that they are preparing for something. Now, let’s get over with this awful party.
They knew the ceremonial dragged for hours. So, they just sighed and began sharing little pleasantries right and left. It was way into the night, when the party seemed to be closing to an end. And all this time, Raoul hadn’t had the time to check on his wrist, which he had done compulsively during the last days, or he would have noticed the little blink signaling there was life on the planet.
- Are you guys ready? Riki asked. The commando was standing unmoved, waiting for the order.
It had been bold to think of something like that. “They will not look under his nose. Maybe because they carry it too high for us, ordinary humans.” It was just that crazy that it would just may work. And he had Guy’s support on that, and not only. His plans went well so far. And he was not going to miss his mark, especially not this time around.
The security had been breached in seconds. The lights flickered for one second, making all the blonde heads rise in surprise. Raoul caught his wrist with the other hand nervously, and casually looked at it. His eyes grew wider. He caught Iason’s arm.
- Oh, Jupiter, Iason! Guy is at the door at this very moment!
He didn’t have the time to say anything else, as the doors were blasted open, and the mongrels’ commando entered the lavish room. All the Blondies froze, seeing laser guns pointed towards them. Riki spotted Iason from the crowd and went directly to him, making everybody get out of his way, frightened. He drew his gun and pointed at Iason’s forehead:
- Everyone with a position worth mentioning in Tanagura’s system, come forward, or we will start shooting.
A wave of surprised, even scared whispers traveled through the room. Iason’s gaze remained unwavered, boring his eyes into Riki’s.
- Do as he says, Iason ordered.
The crowd moved and the order was obeyed.
- Good. It is pleasant to know that we have to deal with an enemy that is not a half-wit.
He grabbed Iason’s arm and dragged him, never letting the gun off his temple. Guy took Raoul immediately, and all the others were taken, as well.
- You can call out security, of course, but I guess they will still be asleep for another half an hour. Have a pleasant evening, gentlemen, and thank you for your cooperation.
The commando blocked the door, leaving the Blondies still inside screaming and cursing. The hostages were forced into a van, that looked nothing of the ordinary. The operation had been a success.
- Where are we heading? Iason asked, folding neatly his garment, so he could sit.
- Dana Bahn, Riki said, still not letting go of his weapon.
“Jupiter will be furious! What do you think you’re doing?” Raoul’s mind was screaming. Guy was still keeping his arm. But, in the darkness of the van, that hand traveled until it reached his palm and cuddled inside it, caressing it. Raoul tried not to move and turned his head slowly so he could meet Guy’s face somehow. Guy leaned into him, suresptitiously, and brushed his lips over Raoul’s ear:
- Don’t worry, you will not be hurt.
Raoul tightened his grip on Guy’s hand.
- None of you.
Guy risked a furtive kiss on Raoul’s ear, before withdrawing fast.
