Chapter 3
YuukiSan: OK this Chapter was no fun to write but I\'m so proud of myself! I\'ve never actually had a story with this much emotional range. It\'s great!!
NinjaMouse: Let\'s just hope all the Kyou fangirls aren\'t going to come and attack you now...since you did write this chapter so blame her. *points at YuukiSan* it\'s all her fault! I\'m just here for the pissy fighting scenes.
YuukiSan: Well then I\'ll just get you to \'deal\' with them, since you\'re just like Kyou in one way. You both have red hair and the temper that goes along with it.
NinjaMouse: Fine by me...watch out you little fangirls....Mehehehehe.

Chapter 3
“I don’t believe this, you didn’t just say that, are you NUTS!?!” Uo yelled when they were at school the next day.
“What’s so bad about her having feelings for The Prince?” Hana replied quietly.
“Do you know what’s going to happen to her if his little fan-club finds out!?! They already hate her enough!”
Tohru sat at her desk as her friends argued. She didn’t know what had made her come to the sudden conclusion that she had come to the night before.
She loved Yuki.
Tohru had known for a while that she had feelings for both Yuki and Kyou, but there was something about how it felt to just be talking to Yuki and having him tuck her hair behind her ear. She didn’t know when she had made this choice; all that she knew was that she couldn’t ignore it.
Now all she had to do was tell Yuki the truth.
As well as Kyou, and she knew he was not going to take it well.

As the three of them were walking home Tohru was busy thinking of how she was going to bring up this with Kyou. She didn’t feel too concerned about her conversation with Yuki since he was the one she had chosen.
She also knew that the cat and mouse hated each other and how winning her feelings had been another battle between the two of them.
The fact that Yuki had won was going to hurt Kyou, and that was the last thing that Tohru wanted. However, she also knew that she had to in order to be true to herself.
As they walked into the house Tohru automatically walked up to her bedroom and lied down on her bed.
She could normally see the bright side of every situation, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t find the bright side of this. She knew there was a possibility that Kyou was going to hate her after she told him. That was the thing that scared her most; losing Kyou as a friend. It had taken so long to convince him that she accepted him for who he was and she felt like all that was in the balance now.
Tohru has to do things Tohru’s own way.
Her mother’s words ran clear inside her head. The time had come and she knew it. Kyou’s feelings wouldn’t be saved by procrastination, if anything it’d make it worse.
Tohru stood and walked to Kyou’s room.
She found him studying for a test they had in a few days.
She took and deep breath and before she even knew what she was doing, “Kyou-kun”
Kyou’s head didn’t even move, and a mumbled, “yeah” was all the Tohru heard.
She took this as an invitation to continue.
“You remember what I told you down at the lake, well I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately…” she started as she walked into his room and stood bd hid him.
Kyou’s head snapped up with his cat ears perked, he spun around to face her so quickly she was surprised he didn’t injure himself.
“I’ve realized that I do love someone…” she started pacing and fidgeting with her fingers.
Kyou’s back went straight with all of his attention on her, watching every move she made.
“But it’s not who I expected. I don’t think anyone was really expecting it…well maybe some people were…”
“What, you’re in love with Shigure?” Kyou asked, mainly to get her to stop rambling.
“No, I’m in love with Yuki,” there was a stunned silence as both of them attempted to process what she had just said, “oh my goodness…I…I didn’t mean to say it like that…I’m so sorry Kyou!” she stammered as she took a step towards him.
“Don’t touch me,” his tone quiet and steady, and his ears were now flat back against his head, “you want to be with that damn mouse, fine go be with him,” he said as he turned back to face his homework.
“Kyou-kun.”
“I said GO!!” He screamed facing her with ears, tail, and fangs bared.
As Tohru left Kyou stood up and slammed the sliding door shut behind her.
“Kyou-kun,” she repeated to the shut door.
“Don’t worry about him too much. He’s ego’s just damaged. He’ll get over it,” she heard in the soft quiet voice that she had grown to love.
She turned to face Yuki who was standing there with a slight smile on his face.
“How much did you hear?” she asked through the tears.
“Enough. Try not to be upset about the baka neko,” he said as he wiped a tear off her cheek, “it might seem like he can never forgive you now, but he can’t hate you…no one can.”
Then Yuki was finally able to do the one thing that had been on his mind forever.
Kiss the one he loved.

YuukiSan: Awwww I want to hug Kyou better.
NinjaMouse: Yeah so instead of a pissy teenage boy, we\'ll have to deal with a pissy cat...with claws...and fangs....
YuukiSan: Ok...ok...ok...so you know the drill.
NinjaMouse: And remember I can find where you live.
YuukiSan: *coughs* Stalker *coughs*
