Psychopath, 3 part 1
Chapter3 Legato’s Curse – Psychopath, Fragile , is the state of a man’s mind. To what things can ‘he’ take? To what grounds can he not break? How long will it take to make him a psychopath? Fragile, is he. ’Fragile.’ Large double doors swing open, and a small boy runs far ahead of a crowd of Priests and Nuns! ‘GET HIM!!’ Shouts a Nun. Afraid, the boy runs into an abandon building and hides. ‘Don’t be afraid, love! We only want to help you!’ Say’s the tall Nun as she creeps slowly to catch the young boy. She reaches the inside of the run-down building and sighs at the sight of the child. Laying in the corner of the room, was the boy in fetal position, whimpering… ‘Xavier… Please love, don’t be afraid.’ ‘Sister Agnes, is going to take good care of you.’ She reaches a steady hand to touch Xavier. She runs her hands through indigo hair. As she ran her finger tips in strands of blue silk, wide yellow orbs peered back at her. Xavier’ whimpering ceased, and he purred under her gentle touch. His yellow eyes went a pale gold color! A smirk came upon the boys face as he bit into Sister Agnes’ hand and ripped a small bit of flesh from it! Blood poured from the woman wounded hand! ’Aggghhh! Little DEVIL!’ She screamed as she swatted the child back into a wall. ‘Agnes? What happened?’ Said a rather skinny priest as he walked over to the trembling Nun. ‘The little devil bit me!’ ‘Again? Yon needn’t be so harsh with the boy, Agnes…’ At that moment, Xavier spit the remaining flesh from his scarlet stained lips and laughed whole heartedly. Blood ran down his mouth as he stared at the priest and nun. ‘You see, Ronald?! He’s enjoying this!’ The Nun hissed as her hazel eyes narrowed. ‘Nothing decipline won’t cure, Agnes.’ Ronald said as he kneeled before the panic struck boy. Xavier smiled, although his mind was gone. He only seemed to know how to inflict pain on others. He had known true happiness once, but that was very long ago…All that remained in that boy’s mind was a psychopathic voice, and distorted memories. Happiness was nothing more than a dream, except for…’him’. **** Legato sat at an outdoor café, simply sipping a foam-like beverage. He had forgotten what it felt like to be around other people. He had grown up with his master, trained with the Gung-Ho-Guns, but never been on the outside world his master so hated. Legato knew he came from the outside, but where was a mystery. He took a deep breath and sighed. He had long forgotten the smells of many things. So many different smells, good ones, bad ones, even some he was unfamiler with. A shadow loomed over Legato as he enjoyed the view. Legato placed the cup gently down. His eyes stayed planted aimlessly ahead. Legato stayed facing forward, waiting on the figure behind him to make a move. ‘My fight is not with you,Beast…’ ‘Who cares! All that matters is you have betrayed the Master! Therefore you die!’ Zazie pulled a revolver from his side and pointed it to the back of Legato’s head! Legato raised his right hand, his left was still missing but he could still take The Beast with little or no effert at all! He waited on the boys move. A crowd of people had already surrounded the area and were watching. Legato sighed and said telepathically, ‘Not here, I would rather deal with this else where…” He said calm and cool like. Legato knew that if he started a fight with Zazie here, Zazie could run away when things got tough, something Legato hated more than his master, a coward… The Beast pulled the trigger! Everything around The Beast and Legato went into slow motion! Everything went a blue haze and before Zazie knew what hit him, he went flinging into a nearby wall! As for the bullet, it hovered in mid air only inches from where Legato had once sat. Zazie struggled to get up and was pressed right back down by a heavy foot pressed tightly into his chest! Legato stood over the young gunslinger, his gold eyes flashing a yellow light like lightning! Zazie yelped in pain as he layed beneath the indigo haired male. Bluesummers pressed harder into the chest of the Beast and smiled as he spoke. ‘It will take more than child-like ideals to bring me to my knees, remember that…’ All the while his voice never drew higher than a soft tone. Slowly, everything regained normal motion and Legato removed himself from the child. As Legato turned away Zazie reloaded his gun and pointed yet again! ‘DO YOU THINK I’AM THAT EASY TO BEAT!? YOU’LL PAY FOR HIM CHOOSEING YOU OVER ME!!!’ Faster than Legato could manage a metal power on his opponent, Zazie shot a white beam from his gun! Legato dodged it with almost no problem, but when the shot U-turned and spilt in two, that’s when Legato got worried! This was far more personal than Legato had thought. If Legato was correct, The Beast was either jealous or just doing this upon his own accord. Legato jumped just in a nck of time, just to see a beam fly past him and U-turn again! The telepath leaped left and right .Still the beams followed him like Heat seeking missiles. Every where he moved , they followed! Legato stood still for a moment, just sitting there…Motionless. Both beams came at him full force! One before him, and the other trailing behind him! Leaving a trail of blue lightning, Bluesummers vanished in thin air! Letting both beams collide into one another! ‘FUCK!!’ Zazie swore as he reloaded his gun a third time! ‘Have I not told you? You cannot defeat me with childish games, Beast..’ Zazie searched the area as sweat dripped down his face, Legato was nowhere to be found. Zazie could still fill Legato there as he pointed the gun aimlessly out into the crowd of on looking bystanders. Suddenly, a China white trench coat flew from the sky above! It covered Zazie and some how wrapped around him like a straight jacket! Zazie hit the ground with a THUD! Legato reappeared, standing in front of dusty blonde. Glittering in the sun light was the nickel-silver locket around Legato’ neck. As the telepath kneeled down he snapped his fingers in front of the face of the young Gung-Ho-Gun. The trench coat released it’s grip and faded away, and reappeared on Legato as if it had never been removed! ‘An illusion? Screw you, Bluesummers!’ Zazie smiled as he admired the locket on Legato’ neck, He remembered the Master taking it from Legato countless times, and now he was wearing it again. Zazie stood up and faced the telepath. ‘Come on! Round Two! I can take you any day!’ But Legato was already walking away. Zazie wasn’t about to be played the fool! BANG!! Legato fell to his knees and felt a stinging sensation in his side! Did Zazie shoot him? How did he do it with out his aura picking it up?? Legato turned to the young boy pointing the revolver in his direction. This was going to be harder than Legato expected… Chapter3 Psychopath, part,1 End…
