Chapter 3 : revelations

"what?!"

"I said 'I love you' Kyo I liked you before you came to me for help but since then I can't get you out of my head your all I think about and it's driving me crazy! And since that night it almost feels like I have a constant hard on because every time I think about you, us and what we did it makes me want you more , makes me want to be with you again and I don't know what to do because I know you love my darling baby brother but Kyo I love you and I just had to tell you otherwise I think I would never forgive myself and always be tortured with thoughts of what could have been if I had just plucked up the courage to tell you exactly how I feel about you!"

Kyo sat frozen on the bed not really knowing how to react because sure Ayame was attractive and it was Ayame's name he called out as he came but that didn't mean that he loved him! did it?

"Ayame I don't know what to say..."

"I love you too would be nice! but I know that's not going to happen..."

"I'm sorry..."

"Its ok I knew it was going to turn out this way" Ayame replied as he got up to leave. The door to Kyo's room opened as Ayame's hand reached for it. It was Yuki with Kyo's dinner leek soup!!

"You don't know how lucky you are baby brother!" Ayame said sadly as he left the room.

"What was that all about?!" Yuki asked sitting down on the edge of Kyo's bed.

"Nothing! Euuw!! Is that leeks?! I hate leeks!!"

"Yes it is Tohru made you leek soup for dinner! leeks are good for a cold!!"

"But I HATE leeks!"

"Just shut up and eat it baka neko!"

Without further resistance Kyo began to eat although he did look disgusted with what he was eating. When the bowl was nearly empty he stopped.

"Listen Yuki I have to tell you something im in danger of going crazy if I don't..Yuki I love you!"

Yuki looked as if he had been slapped in the face.

"Did you hear me Yuki? I said-"

"I heard you the first time idiot!"

"You didn't say anything!!"

"What do you want me to say?!"

"Oh I don't know anything! tell me how you feel!!"

"You have the worst timing in the world do you know that!!"

"Im sorry I've been trying to tell you for ages!"

"That doesn't help me now!!....I have a confession to make im not dating a boy at school ...im dating Akito..."

"YOU WHAT?!?!?!"

"He said I'm not allowed to tell anyone! especially not you"

"Oh..."

"Is that all you can say?? 'Oh'?!?"

"Im sorry im just a little confused right now..."

"Don't get me wrong Kyo I do have feelings for you but I cant go against Akito!"

"I think maybe you should go!"

"But-!"

"Just go Yuki! I need to be by myself right now!"

Yuki did as he asked and left without even a backward glance.

* Yuki.. And Akito? ...Yuki...and Akito?* no matter how much he thought about it, it still didn't make sense did Yuki love Akito? Was he forced into it? How long had they been together? More and more questions formed in his mind and even though he tried to stop his brain wouldn't let these questions that were causing him so much pain stop coming into his mind.

Kyo placed his bowl on the floor next to his bed and then proceeded to cry himself to sleep.

The next day came and Kyo's cold felt better but his heart felt like it had been ripped out leaving a gaping hole in his chest and the more he thought about it the more it hurt, but try as he might he could not stop. And then like a light in a dark tunnel Ayame¡¦s face came into his mind. And he inexplicably felt a little happier... Maybe he did have feelings for him after all...but no how could he call what he had for Yuki love if straight away he went running to Ayame ? He couldn't yet he was sure he loved Yuki but why did the thought of Yuki make him feel miserable and the thought of Ayame cheer him up? Kyo couldn't explain it and the more he tried the ore his head hurt so he decided to do what he did best. Train. So he got up out of the stupor and when out into the garden.

Yuki watched from his bedroom window as Kyo trained in the garden. And thought over his predicament. It's not like he wanted to be with Akito but if Akito cries Akito gets of he throws a tantrum and people get hurt. Mainly the people he loved and that meant Kyo and he would never forgive himself if Kyo got hurt. Akito had not threatened to hurt Kyo physically but mentally. He was going to lock Kyo up in the 'cat's room where he belonged' if Yuki did not have sex with him, afterwards Akito had decided he was good in bed and wanted him more permanently. This was just the way Akito was but he loved Kyo too much to let him be locked away from the world. At least this way he was still allowed to see Kyo, talk to him and touch him albeit not in the way that he wanted to so badly. But something was better than nothing ...right?

Kyo trained for hours and it did his body and mind some good at least this way he didn¡¦t have to think.

"Kyo" Tohru called "dinners ready"

Kyo begrudgingly came inside to eat not that he really wanted to and he had half a mind to skip dinner and just go to sleep but then is stomach growled angrily at him almost as if it was objecting to the fact that Kyo had ,had the audacity to even consider not eating!

"Ok im coming" Kyo replied

He didn't know why he did it but he looked up to Yuki's bedroom window and he immediately regretted it because there was Yuki looking down at him looking pensive and kind of...lost at the same time. The sight made him want to cry but he really didn't need another headache.

Dinner was awkward just he thought it would be but he kept his head down and ate his food not bothering to take part in the conversations happening around him. When suddenly...

"HELLO MY DARLING OTOUTO!!" Ayame burst through the door ¡§I come baring gifts!!!... Oh your eating...never mind follow me I have gifts!! Gifts for you all!!! Come come!" he said pushing the bags he was carrying up his arm a little more then grabbed the hand of the person closest to him, which just happened to be Kyo, causing rice to go flying.

"come come Kyo ill show you what I got you!!" reluctantly he got up throwing a 'save me' look at Shigure who simply shrugged getting up to follow the pair into the living room with Tohru and Yuki following behind him.
"Now sit down hold out your hands and close your eyes! No peeking and I mean it ok? I'll tell you when you can look! Your gunna love the things I made you!! Ok now hold out your hands!!"

Every body took a spot on the sofa and did as Ayame asked and Ayame placed a bag on top of each pair of outstretched hands.

"Ok you can look now!" Ayame said with just a hint of excitement

"Oh yay a paper bag!" Yuki said sarcastically

By now Ayame was practically bouncing up and down with anticipation. "No look inside the bags!!"

*seriously he's as bad as momiji sometimes!* Kyo thought slightly irritated at being made to stop eating. He was, however, excited about getting a gift!

Tohru was the first to pull out her gift. It was a beautiful dress. It was knee length and white with pink lace that ran around the hem of the skirt and the edge of the sleeves.

"Oh thank you Ayame! It's beautiful!!...but how did you know what size to make it?!"

"Oh simple really I measured you in my head when we first met I do it to everyone I meet I cant help it!...plus I was also inside your top so I kinda..got a good look around..." the last part of the statement was mumbled because Ayame didn't want to get glomped by Kyo or Yuki. Tohru on the other hand heard every word and blushed a dark shade of red.

"I've been wanting to make you a dress since then as a thank you for looking after one that is so important to me!"

"o-oh its nothing! Really there's no need to thank me...I-I don't really do to much ..."

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!?!?!?!" Yuki said pulling a bright yellow t-shirt out of his bag on the front it read 'I love my big brother'

"I know you by far have the best gift! For who else has a big brother caring enough to make them something that would declare that which they find so hard to say?!"

*he just doesn't get it*


Kyo pulled out his gift next and nearly dropped it in surprise, for in his hands was a maid's outfit.


"W-what the hell? Do you expect me to wear this ?!?!"

"Well no technically you gift isn't for you but it is for you to enjoy!"

"huh?!"

"gosh your dunce! Its for whomever you date to wear...in the bedroom!"

A look of realisation dawned on Kyo's face as he realised what Ayame meant.

"AND JUST WHO THE HELL IS IT MADE TO FIT ?!?!" yelled Kyo getting the deeper meaning of the previous statement.

Ayame leaned forward and whispered in his ear so that no one else would hear.
"Its made to fit Yuki...but I know someone else who has the same dress size and be more than willing to wear it!"

Kyo blushed and Ayame smiled as he straightened and went to talk to Shigure.

"im sorry Shigure I had to buy yours I couldn't make it. I know you and Hatori arent to fond of dressing up but I think you and Hatori will both get pleasure out of those!"

Shigure pulled a ball gag and a riding crop out of his bag and immediately a huge grin erupted on his face.

"oh Aya I love it!! Im going to go over to Hatori's place right now!!..oh wait..Aya will you stay here and watch the kids for me?"

"sure. And im glad you like it!"

"if it makes things any easier I can stay at Hana-chan's tonight"

"I should probably go up to the main house and see Akito" Yuki said quietly looking at the floor.

"ok so that's settled im going of to see Hatori, Yuki's going to see Akito though goodness knows why anyone would volunteer to see Akito! Tohru is going over to Hana-chan's so that leaves Ayame to watch Kyo!"

"W-WHAT?! I'm not a baby I can manage a night by myself!!"

"I know but you have been really down recently AND you have been ill so I want Ayame to watch you so that nothing happens to you! I don't want you passing out and falling down the stairs or some thing like that!"

But Kyo missed the caring sentiment because he was already halfway up the stairs to his room.

Kyo slammed his bedroom door shut and sat down on his bed suddenly feeling a lot more tired than he had 5 minutes ago his training must have taken more out of him than he thought.
Ayame walked into Kyo's room holding the maids outfit that he had made. It had been about an hour since everybody had left and now he was bored so he decided to go and see the one he loved.

When he got to kyo's room he was a little surprised to see Kyo sitting up with his back pressed against the wall fast asleep. Ayame placed the maids outfit over the top of a chair he passed on his way to kyo's bad and showing an enormous amout of restrain the sat gently on kyo's bed crossed legged facing kyo. Watching him as he slept. The gentle way his chest rose and fell as he slept, the peaceful expression on his face and the gentle way his bangs fell across his face. Ayame knew in that moment that he truly did love kyo with all his heart.

Ayame didn't know how long he had been sitting there watching kyo but after what felt like 5 minutes (it had actually been 30!) kyo's eyes fluttered open.

"H-how long have you been sitting there?"

"Define 'long' "

"10 minutes"

"probably though it was likely it was more than that!"

"what?!?"

"never mind. I was bored so I thought that I would come and see you but to my disappointment you were asleep so I thought id wait here until you woke up" Ayame smiled leaning forward so that his lips were almost touching kyos

"what are you doing?!" kyo whispered his breathing had now become laboured and he was almost panting.

"Kyo I love you" Ayame said closing the gap between their two mouths he kept the kiss chaste but it was still filled with affection. Finally he pulled away.

"Ayame-"

"please if you are going to reject me. don't im not strong like you I don't think my heart could take the rejection"

"shut up and kiss me properly fool"

"but I thought you loved Yuki"

"I don't know I thought I did but whenever I thought about him I got depressed and then all of a sudden you would come to mind and my heart felt lighter I felt a happiness that thinking about Yuki didn't bring"

"Are you sure this is what you want? Because I don't want to be rebound sex or just a replacement for the brother you couldn't have!"

"Are you going t sit there and talk all day or are you going to take advantage of the fact that the house is empty and help me make some noise?!" Kyo replied with a mischievous look in his eye...
