Weiss Kreuz is another wonderful example of Koyasterbation. It doesn't belong to me and I make no money from the fun I have from it.
GOAL!!!
At long last, another chapter!!!
^_^_^_^_^_^
It was another one of those excruciatingly boring days for Schuldich. He’d already flipped through all the TV channels four times. When he started his fifth time through Nagi, not being able to take it anymore, ripped the remote control out of his hand and slammed it into a wall, breaking it into a few pieces with his telekinesis.
Schuldich dug a new universal remote from under one of the cushions, programmed it and resumed his flipping. He was promptly floated off the couch and out the door. The door slammed behind him and he yelled out, “My coat?”
The door opened again, a wad of green hit Schuldich in the face and the locks made a resounding succession of clicks after the door slammed back shut. Schuldich sighed deeper. Not even annoying Nagi could lift the heavy cloud of boredom from over his head. And then it hit him. The idea was quickly forming as his lips twisted into a devious smirk. Yes… he could play another prank on his little kitties.
He threw on his jacket and strolled out the building, grabbing a taxi to drop him a few blocks from the Koneko. A few jumps and Schuldich found a nice vantage point for direct visual spying.
He hadn’t quite worked out all the details in his plan so he eavesdropped for a while to put the last of the pieces in place. Youji was already off the list of attackees since he’d been the butt of the joke last time, literally. Schuldich snickered at his horrible pun. He was debating on marking Ken off since he’d been part of it also. What the hell, he’d just settle it by picking the two that annoyed him the most.
Aya was bitching in his head about Takatori. There was a mission later that night so he was obsessing. Omi was trying to come up with a way to get away from the fangirls that were mobbing him. Oh, how tragic. And Ken was bitching out loud about missing the chance to play soccer with some brats because of the sudden school canceling due to a burst pipeline.
Tough choice… ok, Ken it was! And Aya would be the recipient. /Now to work my magic! /
^_^_^_^_^_^
Ken had given up his complaining since receiving Aya’s death glare. Yeah, he liked keeping his intestines on the inside. He could probably get Youji or Omi to kick a ball around with him later. It’d been a while since he last got the chance to play and it was driving him a little stir crazy to be cooped up in the shop instead of being able to play. He kept getting yelled at by Aya, ‘IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO WORK THEN LEAVE,’ for spending too much time daydreaming. Ken knew he’d pay a hefty price if he actually took him up on that but he was starting to see soccer balls everywhere.
He figured he was going crazy when Aya’s ass seemed to turn into a ball when he bent over to pull some flowers off a low shelf. He shook his head and rubbed his eyes hard.
“You ok,” Youji asked, dropping a hand to his shoulder.
Ken looked over. “Oh… yeah.”
“Don’t worry about Prissy Pants,” Youji tipped his head in Aya’s direction. “If you need to go take a rest, do it. I’ll fix him.”
“It’s not that, I think I just have too much energy.”
“In that case, I’ll be sure to help you take care of that later. Unless you wanna go in the back for a few minutes.” Youji leered and wagged his eyebrow.
Ken laughed, “Later. I’ve had enough of Aya’s wrath for the day.”
Just then Aya was making his way to the back with a small, potted Bird of Paradise that had been sitting outside.
It seemed to be in double speed for Ken. He didn’t even see Aya or the plant, just a glinting soccer ball where the redhead's groin should be. “I got it,” he yelled, running up to kick the ball through the open door before it did any damage to products or customers.
No one even had the chance to ask what he was getting before Ken’s foot connected causing Aya to drop the pot and grab himself. He doubled over in pain. “I’m going to… kill you… Hidaka,” he tried to growl out but it was more of a strained whimper.
“Whoa, what just happened?” Youji grabbed the brunette and pulled him out of arm and katana’s reach of Aya. From the fire radiating from Aya’s eyes he wasn’t entirely sure the man wouldn’t somehow summon his blade and chop Ken’s legs off from his fetal position.
Ken’s eyes seemed to clear and he looked at what he’d done. “Oh shit! I’m so sorry, Aya. I swear I didn’t see you there.”
Omi rushed over to help Aya up and take him to his apartment to get some ice. He sent a questioning look to Youji, who nodded in return.
“Alright girls, we’re gonna take a lunch break now and close up for an hour so we’d appreciate it if you would make your selections quickly,” Youji said with his patented charm.
The girls, who’d previously been staring in shock and horror, melted and began to giggle. One came forward to say that she’d come back later so as not to trouble the boys. The others took her cue and in only a couple of moments Youji was locking the door, hanging the lunch sign, and walking back to Ken.
“What was that?”
“I don’t know how it happened! I must have been daydreaming too much. I just saw a soccer ball flying in here and I was going to kick it back out before it smashed into anything.”
“Maybe you’re too stressed. We should take a trip up to the villa this weekend."
Ken nodded and let Youji lead him upstairs for food and rest. After that, they finished the workday with Aya working the register from a stool, a pack of ice in his lap, and the other three boys doing all the things that required moving around.
Schuldich was so entertained he decided to come back the next day.
^_^_^_^_^_^
It was worse the next day and Schuldich really had to struggle to keep his laughter low enough that the boys across the street wouldn’t hear him and figure out what he was doing.
Aya was bending over to retrieve a fallen flower when Ken suddenly shouted. The next thing he knew he was diving into the floor. Only his assassin’s reflexes kept his face from being rearranged.
“Not again,” Youji sighed, running a hand through his hair on his way in with the water hose.
“What happened,” Omi asked, running in from the back when he heard the loud thud.
Ken ran out to seek shelter in his apartment, yelling, “I’m sorry!”
Later that day, Ken nearly put his foot through Aya’s chest but Aya blocked the kick. He wasn’t going to be taken by surprise again! Schuldich disagreed.
^_^_^_^_^_^
Tuesday was even dimmer. Everyone was tiptoeing around Aya. None of them wanted to be strangled. Ken tried not to even be in the same room. By mid-day he’d already put his foot in Aya’s ass and knee. The redhead was trying his best not to limp.
At ten to three a woman came in asking for Ken to help her choose an arrangement. Luckily for him Aya was out on break. When Aya came back from his break he tried to stay out of Ken’s way, not that he was afraid. Of course not, how silly of you to think so!
The brunette didn’t even notice Aya come back he was so engrossed in helping his customer. One minute he was showing the woman ribbon options and the next there was the sound of a ball bouncing and a pot falling and there was the ball just sitting on the floor in front of one of the shelves… and he was off like a light.
Omi just happened to look up at the right time and he had to make a split decision. He ran and slid like he was going for home to stop Ken’s foot with his stomach so that Aya‘s head wouldn‘t stop it instead. “Ken-kun, no!”
Aya, who’d been trying to fish out a mini cactus that’d fallen behind the shelves, raised up on his hands when he heard Omi yell. When Ken and Omi connected, Omi was knocked back into Aya, sweeping his arms out from under him and bringing them chest to stomach. Likewise, the brunette tried to pull his kick when Omi yelled and ended up on his ass with his legs between Aya and Omi.
“Omi! Are you okay?!” Ken struggled to untangle himself which only caused more problems for the poor kid.
“Stop squirming,” Aya snapped after taking note of Omi’s pale face.
“I will be when you get off me so I don’t puke,” Omi groaned with a hand over his mouth.
Youji was there by then, shaking his head. He offered his hands but only Ken took one. Aya stayed down to check for shoe prints in Omi’s flesh. Omi opted to stay lying until he was sure his lunch was staying down.
“I’m so sorry, Omi, I tried to pull it. Are you going to be okay,” Ken asked again.
“You still have a tough kick but I don’t think it’s serious. You got it just right so it doesn’t hurt much, just made me nauseas.”
“Why didn’t you just tackle me so I wouldn’t kick you?”
“I wasn’t sure you wouldn’t get Aya anyway and I didn’t want you to get hurt either.”
“You are too nice to people.” Aya glared pointedly at Ken and hefted Omi off the floor. “You are going to take the rest of the day off and Hidaka is going to take your chores,” he said to Omi, carrying him to his apartment.
“It really isn’t ne…”
“No, it’s the least I can do,” Ken cut Omi off.
“If you’re sure.” Omi was actually really grateful to be let off.

When Schuldich finally stopped rolling around in laughter, caught his breath and wiped the tears from his eyes, he headed back home. “I definitely gotta do this more often,” he cackled.
