Here it is, the mini-arc that will bridge the gap between the second and third arcs. This will mostly be action since there's only going to be at the most three parts. Lemons shall return in the third arc.

In the 27th century....,

The frustration that Calvin felt was starting to effect the rest of the group. They were a sect that was trying to change the antiseptic world back to what it was before the turn of the 22nd century. They believed that the strong should survive and the only way to prove one's strength is through conflict.
"Sir?" one of Calvin's underlings asks. Calvin takes a deep breath before answering his subordinate.
"Yes?"
"Sir, we've been beaten back so much that we must consider the possibility that we can't win. Your the only technomancer(1) left in the resistance." the underling starts.
"Yes I know. Ever since the family triumvirate found out about us they've been eliminating us like flies. However, I've got a plan to wipe out the entire triumvirate out of existence. Our victory cannot be achieve in the present nor in the future, but if we look to the past, we shall prevail."
"What do you mean 'look to the past'?"
"I shall destroy the triumvirate before it ever comes into existence."
"That's impossible. There are no temporal interdimensional portals left. They were outlawed back in the 24th century."
"Ah, but like the nuclear disarmament in the late 21st century, every world power kept one bomb just in case."
"Are you saying that the government has a temporal interdimensional portal?"
"Yes, and I'm going to use it and go back far enough to eliminate the patriarchs of the triumvirate.""
"And their wives?"
"And their wives." he replies smirking.

Present day

"Ugh! I hate math!" Sakura complains. She and Lee were in her room actually studying. They couldn't get up to their normal activities while her father was at home and Tory kept checking on them every fifteen minutes. "I'll never pass the mid-term at this rate."
Lee sighs. They needed to take a break anyway. Suddenly, the pair grab the sides of their heads in pain. After half a minute the pain stops.
"Josh and his dad must be using the portal again." Lee comments.
"Hm, he's usually good about warning us before he and his dad start to breach a dimension." Sakura says. Anytime the portal was used to breach into another dimension, the pair of mages could feel it.
"Maybe he forgot this time." Lee states.
"Probably," Sakura replies.
***
'What the hell...,what could be causing these readings?' Josh ponders looking over the readings. 'These are similar to those one would get from someone using an intredimensional jump, except I'm getting temporal anomalies that I've never seen before. If I didn't know better I'd say we've got a time traveler. I better phone Sakura and Lee. They're probably just as confused as I am.'
***
'Ah, early 21st century Readington, how...,primitively barbaric.' Calvin muses. 'I wonder if I've been detected yet?'
***
"A time traveler? Are you sure your equipment is working?" Kero asks incredulously over the phone to Josh who had called to explain what Sakura and Lee had actually felt.
"I double and even triple checked and the readings aren't glitches. There's something in the park."
"All right," Sakura starts, "We'll get in contact with Wulf and Meilin and we'll meet you in the park."
***
'Hm, I'm picking up an intredimensional signal. It's got to be Karthing. Most of his weapons are powered by first generation reactors. Time to Activate my cloak.' Calvin thinks and he becomes invisible.
***
"I think Josh got it wrong this time." Meilin quietly says to Wulf. On cue though, a blast of green energy explodes in front of the group. "On the other hand!" Meilin shouts after rolling out of the way.
"Well, I didn't think I'd get the patriarchs to show up without making some noise before hand." Calvin says after becoming visible again. The group sees that he was a man, probably in his early thirties, who wore what looked like futuristic paramilitary clothing. Josh notes the strange blaster type weapon in his right hand, the wrist band on his right arm, and the head band with an eye piece covering his right eye.. He fires again, aiming for Sakura, but she uses the jump card to try and get away. Unfortunately, the green blast seems to lock on to the card's magic and Sakura crashes to the ground. Lee quickly comes over to check up on her.
"I'm ok," she says getting to her feet.
"You'll notice that you can't activate another card. I've neutralized your magic temporarily." Calvin explains. "I find it quite interesting that your magic and your future husband's magic are working on about the same frequency. It makes things convenient for me to neutralize both of you."
"I've heard enough!" Meilin fumes and charges. Calvin smirks as he blocks her kick by grabbing her leg. The glove that covers his hand sends a powerful jolt of electricity through Meilin's body. Wulf, seeing his girlfriend crumple to the ground, charges at Calvin in an attempt to take his head off. Calvin's smile stays put on his face as he grabs the hammer's handle. Three seconds later Wulf is forced to drop the hammer due to the heat running through the wooden handle.
"Anymore?" Calvin asks. He soon hits the dirt and rolls away from Yue's crystal attack.
"Careful Yue! He's got a weapon that can neutralize magic!" Keroberos cries out to his brother.
"None of you will survive this day. I cannot allow you to turn the world into a place for the meek and the weak!" Calvin cries as he tries to shoot down Yue.
"Stay with Sakura, Kero." Lee says and prepares himself to attack.
"I'll cover you." Josh says and Lee begins his charge. Calvin smirks and shields himself from Josh's mini missiles and lasers.
"Your resistance is in vain. Your technology is out dated, Karthing, and you can't break my shields Shaoran." Calvin gloats.
'Shit! Nothing we throw at this guy works! Meilin is still unable to move, Sakura's magic isn't working, Kero has to stay near her in order to protect her, Yue's attacks are as useless as Josh and Lee's attacks, and I'm not going to attack like that again. We need to get the hell out of here and regroup.' Wulf thinks and picks his now cooled off hammer. "Josh! we need an exit, now!
"All right, whoever you are, let's see if your equipment can handle this!" Josh shouts and he chunks three EMP grenades at Calvin and they explode.
"Ahhhrrrggg!" Calvin cries as his weaponry is bombarded with EMP's. After his equipment stopped malfunctioning, he notices that the group had vanished. 'Damn, I didn't go back far enough! They've already beaten both Sian and Darren by this time. I'll have to come up with a better way of dealing with them other than a direct assault.' he ponders. "Computer, activate self-repair systems." he commands.
***
The group was now in Josh's private lab recovering from the battle. Sakura's magic was starting to come back to her. Meilin now could move, but slowly.
"This feels like that battle that left Eli a little drained. How are we going to fight this one?" Sakura asks.
"We know he comes from the future. A future that somehow we're the patriarchs of, if Calvin is to be believed." Josh explains.
"I know we defeated Sian, his allies, and Darren, but I can't see how we could effect the future like he says we did." Wulf says.
"What I want to know is how he neutralized Sakura's magic." Lee says.
"His weaponry suggests a fusion of technology and magic." Josh says. "In fact, his technology is strangely similar in basic design to mine."
"Josh," Yue starts, "are you trying to come up with a scientific explanation of magic?"
The look that crosses the young genius's face was the same look that a child would get when the child is caught with his hand in the cookie jar. "Well...,errr...,"
"You are aren't you?" Yue growls out and starts to approach the boy.
"Hold it Yue!" Kero, now in his borrowed form, says stopping his brother. "This is what he wants."
"What do you mean?" Yue asks.
"He wants the future to be changed. Don't do his work for him."
"He's meddling in things that he shouldn't be."
"Yeah, but whatever future is created by whatever discovery Josh makes is probably far better than what this time traveler wants." Kero explains.
"Fine." Yue relents and that was the end of that.
"Hi guys," Madison says coming into the room, "What's going on?"
***
'Ah, this will do.' Calvin thinks, 'I've put a small temporal interdimensional reactor in this abandoned warehouse. In fifteen minutes it'll go critical and the building will blow up. Hopefully, Karthing's sensors will pick it up way before it blows. Then, when they are all inside, I'll trap them in and wait for the fireworks.'
***
"You've got to be kidding me!" Madison says after the group had told her of their in counter with the time traveler.
"We've got another problem," Josh starts, "there's another temporal disturbance. It's coming from the downtown area."
"Let's go." Sakura firmly states.
"Is your magic back?" Lee asks.
"Don't worry Lee, I'm fine." she replies.
"All right, here we go again." Josh says and the group vanish in a blue light.
