In the 29th century....,

A male, in is early twenties, stands in the middle of a circle of large, bright green reptile-like creatures. He wore a dark blue robe and held a staff of the same color. His familiar green eyes gave them a death glare that would make both Lee and Tory back down.
"Tetsuro!" the largest one begins, "You will die this day."
"You've said that before. Why should I believe it now?" Tetsuro retorts arrogantly. With that comment, the reptile like creatures attack. The youth smirks and casts a powerful spell that forces the aliens to back off.
"Damn you Tetsuro! Quit hiding behind your magic!" the apparent leader of the group of attackers shouts.
"Hm, you have the physical strength to crush a human, so why should I give up my advantage when you won't give up yours?" he asks smiling.
"Die!" the leader says and the whole group attacks the mage. He teleports out of the way and the attackers look around trying to find the human vermin.
"Hey! Over here!" Tetsuro shouts. The reptilian creatures turn and charge, but their nervous systems shut down from the powerful thunder based attack.
"Program Complete." a computerized voice says and the aliens and the landscape vanish to be replaced by grey metal walls.
"Excellent. You improved your time by six seconds." an older man says from the now opened door.
"Thanks." Tetsuro replies.
"You can still pull out of this mission....,"
"No. This world can't continue to exist. You said it yourself, professor, when Calvin went back and killed the six the future was paved in despair. You created me to do this and I will."
"But if you succeed, you won't exist after you change history."
"If it means that those reptiles never invade this planet so easily then my sacrifice shall not be in vein."
"That's the Drumhilde blood talking. All right, your arm band is ready. Remember, you must hit Calvin with the temporal incursion weapon. That's the only way to guarantee that there won't be any paradoxes."
"Don't worry professor, I will destroy Calvin and his influence over the time stream." Tetsuro reassures.
"Good luck, my son."
"Thanks."

Present day

The group find themselves near an abandoned warehouse. The group makes its way inside looking around for any sort of a trap. It was Josh who spots the source of the interdimensional signal.
"An interdimensional reactor? Why did he leave this lying around?" Josh comments coming over to the reactor. After a cursory examination he turns back to the group and says, "This isn't like anything my father could or ever will come up with."
"That's right Karthing." Calvin's voice says from a device mounted against the far wall. "that is a temporal interdimensional reactor. It won't be invented for another three centuries. Now, as you will discover, you are trapped within a null field. Your magic will not work. You won't be able to use brute force to escape. You'll also notice that the two guardians cannot transform back into their other forms while inside this field." Calvin explains.
"So what are you going to do to us? Let us rot in here forever!?" Meilin shouts.
"Oh no, you'll be blown up once that reactor reaches critical." Calvin answers. "Now, I hope you can make the few moments you have as meaningful as possible." he laughs and his voice cuts off.

'Let's see them get out of that one.' Calvin muses on the roof of a building across the street.
"Detecting temporal signal." the wrist band computer states.
"Where?" Calvin asks.
"Right behind you." a voice says from behind Calvin. He turns to meet a boy dressed in a dark blue robe.
"Who are you?" Calvin asks.
"Like you I'm a time traveler, but I'm here to stop you from doing your damage to the time line."
"Oh really? Just how are you going to do that? I'm from the 27th century, you can't possibly stop me." Calvin gloats.
"I hate to burst your bubble, but I'm from the 29th century."
"What!?"
"By the way, the name's Tetsuro."
"I don't care if you're from the 29th or the 99th century, I'm a technomancer. You don't seem to have any special powers."
Tetsuro starts to chant. "I call to those distant stars beyond the vastness of space. Release the staff of Andromeda so I may vanquish my enemies...,release!"
"Oh, so you're a real mage. Well, say good-bye to your powers." Calvin says pulling out his blaster.
"Magical signal working on a rotating frequency." the computer says.
"What!? That's impossible!"" Calvin fumes.
"Nothing's impossible, just improbable. Now, shall we dance?" Tetsuro asks.

Lee, Sakura, and Madison watch as their friends try to pull off another miracle. Josh had tried blasting the field's generator, but it was shielded as well. So, while Yue, Meilin, and Wulf beat uselessly against the shield, Josh tries to figure out the generator before it blows.
"We're not going to make it are we?" Sakura asks Lee. Lee sighs and grits his teeth. He hated being helpless.
"Yes, we are!" Josh calls out.
"Can you stop it?" Madison asks.
"I just did. I'm beginning to think I can invent something that'll cure a rainy day." Josh says smirking.
"That's all good and well, but how the hell are we going to get out of here!?" Meilin shouts.
"Stand back, I'm going to hook this thing into my wrist band and use the charge shot."
"what!?" the group cries out.

"Damn it! How are you that powerful?" Calvin asks.
"Oh wouldn't you like to know?" Tetsuro answers back and fires off another powerful spell. Then the two hear an explosion from the warehouse.
"Look! You're too late!" Calvin says and starts laughing. Tetsuro smirks and shakes his head.
"Why don't you turn around and see for yourself." Tetsuro says. Calvin turns to see the six humans and two guardian beasts coming out after the dust had settled.
"That little Karthing will be the first to die!" Calvin fumes ready to jump off the roof and kill the group.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Tetsuro says and attacks Calvin.

"Don't ever do that again or I'll break your neck!" Meilin shouts.
"Hey you two," Madison says to Lee and Sakura, "what's wrong?"
"It's the aura we're feeling." Sakura starts.
"Yeah, it's an echo of our combined auras." Lee continues.
"It's like when me and Lee combine powers, but at the same time it isn't." Sakura finishes.
"It must be coming from the one fighting our time traveler." Wulf says pointing to the roof of the building across the street.
"I'm picking up a tachion particle residue from the other guy. I think he's from the future as well." Josh says.
"Great, do they both want to destroy us?" Meilin growls.
"I want a piece of him!" Keroberos says after transforming back into his true form. He had reverted back to conserve power before they had gone in to the apparent trap.
"I shall join you." Yue states and the two guardians fly towards the battling pair.
'No! I'll have to retreat again!' Calvin states. "Computer, intredimensional jump." he orders and vanishes in a flash of green light. The two guardians turn to Tetsuro who teleports down to where the others were standing.
"I think we better go before Calvin returns." Tetsuro says.
"Calvin?" Sakura asks.
"That's his name, but I doubt we should talk about the future out on the streets of Readington." Tetsuro states.
"Why should we trust you?" Meilin asks.
"Because I could've destroyed the eight of you but I haven't." Tetsuro explains.
"He's right." Lee says. "His aura is a mix of mine and Sakura's."

"As you probably figured out, I'm from the future as well. Unlike Calvin, I'm from two centuries further up the time stream. I was sent back due to the fact that Calvin will succeed in destroying you." Tetsuro begins. The group were in Josh's lab listening to Tetsuro's explanation.
"And just how are you going to do that? We can barely stand up against him! How much better can you alone do against Calvin?" Meilin asks.
"Calvin may be a technomancer, but I've learned how to counter that weapon of his that locks onto auras and disables them. It's a technomancy trick that rotates the frequency that my aura runs on."
"All right, but why does your aura feel like mine and Lee's?" Sakura asks.
"I'm a clone."
"What!?" the group asks in disbelief excluding Yue who just arches an eyebrow.
"I was created by a scientist who is part of the human resistance of my time. In the 29th century the Earth is under siege against an alien force. I was created from genetic material that comes from the six of you."
"How...?" Josh begins but Tetsuro cuts him off.
"I don't know. I only asked him once and he gave a cryptic answer."
"All right, Calvin claims that our actions will effect events even in his century, so how did we get so important?" Josh asks.
"Normally, that question couldn't be answered, but because of this...," Tetsuro says tapping his wrist band, "I can. The temporal incursion weapon in this baby will erase Calvin from existence. And before you start bringing up morals, you have to consider that his going back to this time has two consequences. Either he kills you and the future becomes dark and bleak, or he fails, and is reborn in his time...,"
"Only to go back again and again until he gets it right." Josh finishes.
"Exactly. Now, if I'm correct, in the future in which you survive Calvin's attempt, there's something that is called the family triumvirate." Calvin starts.
"Does that have something to do with Calvin calling us 'the patriarchs of the future'?" Lee asks.
"Yes, for the three families that Calvin refers to is yours." he says pointing to Lee, Josh, and Wulf. "In about two to three decades from now, you'll finally make the breakthrough that'll allow technomancy to be possible. This only happens because of the archives that both Lee's and Wulf's families have."
"I don't know about Wulf's, but my family would never let someone like Josh go through the archives." Lee interrupts.
"A drastic change comes during your wedding though." Calvin says grinning. "Your elders try one more time to stop you from marrying Sakura by killing her, but like all the other threats you guys have gone up against, you thwart this one as well. Soon after, you dissolve the council of elders and you alone will judge the next one in line for the position of head of your family. Since Josh was one of those to keep Sakura's assassins from carrying out their plan, you allow him to go through the archives." Tetsuro finishes.
"How do are three families survive to the 27th century? I'm an only child. How can I possibly give the Karthing name new life?" Josh says not believing what he was hearing.
"Kero, doesn't the lovers card have the reverse of the anti conception charm that Clow put in it?" Tetsuro asks.
"Yes, but how would you know of the cards?" Kero asks.
"The professor knew everything about the cards." Tetsuro replies. Kero and Yue look at each other as if they knew who Tetsuro's creator was.
"I think that our old master reincarnated himself into your time. It's the only explanation." Kero states firmly.
"Wait a second, the lovers card has the ability to make someone overly fertile?" Josh asks.
"Yes," Kero starts, "I think he called it the 'baby boom charm'."
'Tetsuro!' a voice cries out telepathically. Yue, Kero, Lee, Sakura, and Tetsuro grab their heads in pain.
"No, not him." he quietly says.
'I know you can hear me! I'm projecting my message to those who have magic in this pathetic city! Come out and face me now! I've killed your precious professor, so if you go back to our time you'll find his bloody body in pieces! I don't know why you came to this time, but it'll be my pleasure to destroy you!' the voice says and fades.
"A friend of yours?" Lee asks sarcastically.
"Yeah, you could say that. If one of those reptiles has made it back to this time we're going to have more problems than just Calvin. I'm guessing that I shouldn't try to stop you from coming with me?" he asks with a cheeky grin. Instead of a verbal reply, the group stand to follow Tetsuro.
