Two mages stand facing each other on an empty field.
"I see you didn't bring your guardians, Clow." Var says to his former master.
"I don't need them." Clow states.
"Then I shall deliver your dead body to them!" Var shouts and he fires a spell at his former master. Clow throws his own spell to counter Var's attack, but the two spells are deflected by an explosion of fire.
"Why didn't you invite me to this party brother?" Sian asks condescendingly.
"Sian." Clow says staring at his brother.
"What? I don't understand. Who are you!?" Var rants.
"Var Chokal. You will get in my way." Sian says and with a flick of his staff, the counter card floats over to him.
"How did you do that!?" Var shouts.
"You no nothing you fool." Sian says touching the card with his staff. "Counter Card! Unbind and destroy!" and with that, dark red waves of energy rip and tear at Var until he was nothing but ash.
"Why?" Clow asks.
"I wish to be the one to kill you brother."
"What will you do with that?"
"This!" he says and throws the card into the air and it burns from Sian's power. "I don't need a stupid little counter card to defeat you when I can turn your cards against you. Until we meet again, farewell." Sian says and vanishes in a blast of black fire.
"Master!" Yue shouts as he lands.
"We felt Sian and came as quickly as we could." Keroberos says after landing.
"Where's Var?" Yue asks.
"Sian destroyed him with Var's own counter card. He won't come back nor will those demons he made that deal with come either." Clow explains.
"Why would your brother save you?" Yue questions.
"He wants the pleasure of destroying me for himself. Now, lets go back." Clow says and the two guardians follow.

The void card makes its way through the ventilation system of a hospital. It reaches the morgue and floats just above a body. Red waves of energy exit the card and begin to heal the burns and smoke damage the body suffered. Sian opens his eyes and smiles. He hears a squeak and their laying on his chest was Akurax looking malnourished.
"Ah my dear friend, we are alive again. Now lets...," but he is interrupted by two doctors coming into the room. Sian quickly summons his staff and kills the two. "Akurax, will draining these two start to recover your strength?" Sian asks and the bat nods yes.

Sian stands across the street looking at the burning building of the hospital that he and Akurax had just been in. Akurax was now standing on his master's shoulder looking far healthier than he had after coming out of the void card.
"Fire is so beautiful Akurax." Sian says in a trance.
"Yes, and you look good in that new body." Akurax compliments.
"I do don't I?" he asks. He now was in a body around seventeen or so with fiery red hair and eyes to match. He now wore black pants and a shirt with the same eclipse on it.
"What shall we do now?"
"We go back to Readington and finish what we started."
"But she's got all but the void card now."
"I don't need any cards now."
"I know we've both gotten stronger after the ritual, but they so far haven't been beaten."
"Don't concern yourself with that. We shall prevail this time. Can you resume your identity as Leo?"
"Yes." he answers after transforming into the disguise in question.
"Good, now it's time to enroll myself in high school." Sian says chuckling.

Six teens make their way to Readington High. From first glance, this group appears to be six normal students worrying about the beginning of the new semester. To any outsider, it would seem strange that these six would find themselves surrounded by a circle of demons, however these six weren't your normal group of high schoolers.
"Can't you former Covenant guys leave us the hell alone!?" Meilin fumes getting into a defensive stance.
"You shall all pay for destroying the symbol of the covenant." one of the demons hisses.
'Here we go again.' Lee sends to Sakura and the two summon wand and sword respectively.
"Don't you guys have something better to do than challenge us?" Wulf asks annoyed as he throws off his school shirt and readies his hammer.
Look, listen to my voice
If you're making the choice
Tell me all the girls and the boys
Either scream or rejoice
Let's make that noise
Either move or we will all be destroyed
Two streaks of lightning throw themselves at the attacking force to start the mayhem. Then, Wulf and Meilin charge and start throwing punches, kicks, and hammer blows at their foes. It only took a moment for mini-missiles from Josh to join in as well.
Move and show me what you can do
When you step into the circle and shake like we do
Move when you just can't take it
And move if you just feel like breaking it
'You'd think they would know when to give up.' Sakura sends letting loose the shot card.
'At least they are only just nuisances unlike what Darren was. Lee sends back calling forth fire.

"Keep away from the mages! Focus on the boy with the weapons!" the apparent leader says. Josh rolls his eyes and switches from missiles to lasers.
"What? Don't want to fight me!" Meilin challenges.

"You guys need to take a nap!" Wulf says and the head of his hammer meets the head of one of the attacking demons.
"Behind you Wulf!" Lee calls out. Wulf ducks out of the way of an attack and the demon gets a freeze ray from Josh and the sword card for its troubles.

And move if you just feel like breaking it
Josh, Lee, and Sakura fall back to begin working on a combined attack. Lee and Sakura's powers start to blend again while Josh's charge shot was charging up.
"Any day now!" Meilin shouts taking on half a dozen of their foes.
I come crashing to the floor
And I know there must be more like me
I've seen this all before, I can't carry this anymore, break free
Breathe, and leave until the storm is over
'Cause underneath, there's a diamond passing over
So breathe, let's leave until the storm is over,
Because I want to take you away
"Force, know my plight. Release the light...,lightning!" Lee says and the bolt of lightning with some of Sakura's powers plus Josh's charge shot head straight towards the group of demons. Meilin and Wulf roll out of the way just in the nick of time.

The dust finally settles and nothing was left but a few scorch marks from where the demons had been standing.
"Well that was fun." Meilin states sarcastically.
"Uh, guys," Josh says, "we've got five minutes before Mr. Lorrie will give us the periodic table to memorize." With that, the group run as quickly as possible to the high school.

"Well, you six just barely made it." Mr. Lorrie says as the six take their seat. "Well, it appears that we've lost Darren."
'Lee, I'm getting a strange feeling." Sakura sends.
'Yeah, it feels like my skin could spontaneously catch fire at any moment.' Lee sends back. Everyone turns to the opening door. the students gasp seeing Leo walking back into the room along with an older boy.
"Well, looks like our old trouble maker is back. Who's your new friend?" Mr. Lorrie asks.
"I'm Sian Reed, Leo's cousin." the red head states. The six look at each other trying to figure out if they had heard right.
'Is it really him Lee?' Sakura asks.
'That's his aura all right. I don't know how he was able to survive though.' Lee sends back.

"How could he have returned? We all saw him burn up along with Akurax when the death card touched Sian." Madison says as the group is having lunch.
"There seems to be something about Akurax though." Lee comments.
"What?" Sakura asks.
"It feels like Akurax is now directly tied to Sian's aura." Lee answers."
"What does that mean?" Madison asks.
"It means that he's now Sian's guardian just like Yue and Keroberos are Sakura's. We'll just have to ask Kero how Sian survived after school." Lee says.

"Well, I guess they haven't lost a step since the last time we faced." Sian comments from a table in a secluded corner of the cafeteria.
"How shall we proceed?" Akurax asks.
"We went about it the wrong way last time, Akurax. Sakura is too powerful and so well connected to the cards that any direct attack on her was doomed to fail with those others helping her."
"Then what do we do?"
"Today, we'll see how we and they have improved. Then we start to destroy those that surround Sakura."
"The girl first?"
"No. Karthing has shown that his devices are just as dangerous as Sakura's magic. He'll use them to protect her. Lee is the key."
"Shaoran?"
"Yes. I now am at a level of power that what I've come up with will eliminate my brother's descendent."
"Why start with him?"
"He's got one weakness, his need to be useful to the card mistress. I'm going to make him weaker than the girl carrying that camera around is."
"How?" Akurax asks in glee.
"That will come later. I now must bring back an old friend that my dear brother destroyed before I met you."
"Why?"
"Sakura has two guardians, that half reincarnated fool has two guardians, I've only got one. I'll need a second, especially if my brother shows up again." Sian explains.

The pair walk hand in hand heading for their apartment. Ruby playfully smacks Julian's ass as he tries to unlock the door. He arches an eyebrow as he opens the door and the couple walk in to find...,
"Hello Ruby. Julian, I need to speak to Yue." Eli says sitting at a chair with Spinner at his side. Julian immediately fades away to be replaced by the judge.
"I've accepted the fact that you and Julian are lovers," Yue starts sounding very indignant, "but is it necessary to constantly flirt with him?"
"Awe, what's the matter? Upset that your earthly form isn't more like you?" Ruby taunts. Yue growls at the girl.
"That's enough." Eli commands and the two look at him. "We've got a problem. My brother is back."
"Impossible." Yue states.
"Sian preformed a ritual that tied his soul to the void card. This was somehow extended to Akurax as well. Now the bat is Sian's guardian. His next step will be to create a second guardian for himself." Eli explains.
"How do we end this?" Yue asks.
"Simple. Sakura has got to get her hands on void and change it. Killing Sian before that will just be an exercise in futility." Eli states.
"I feel his aura. He's at the park." Yue says.
"Go. I'll shall be along shortly. Don't let him know I'm here." Eli requests.
"I shall." Yue states and flies out a window.
"Well, here we go again." Ruby says transforming herself.
"What sort of beast will Sian create for his second?" Spinner asks.
"I have my suspicions, but I'll not say them out loud yet. Now let's go have another family reunion." Eli says smiling.

"Ahh, so you were prompt in getting here. Miss me Keroberos?" Sian asks.
"What do you want this time!?" Keroberos shouts as Yue lands.
"This time I'll destroy you all." Sian says and throws a spell that scatters the group. Akurax lundges and begins to attack Wulf and Meilin.
"I've missed this." Akurax teases as he easily dodges the pair's blows and returns their attacks with his own.
"Is this all you've got for me? I expected more from the ones that destroy the Covenant." Sian mocks, but a spell hits him from behind.
"Mada mada dane(1), brother." Eli says smiling.
"You! How could you have found out about my revival so soon!?"
"That hospital you burnt down to the ground was a clue. You've got to control your need to burn things down to the ground." Eli says and readies another spell.
"Hm, I've had enough fun for one day." Sian says and he and Akurax vanish in flames.
"I suggest we head for my cute little decendent's apartment. I'll explain things there." Eli suggests. Lee growls but complies as the group make their way to Lee's place.
