For those that have read the High School Days trilogy, this is a stand alone
sequel. This is the final story that will be based off of the High School Days timeline. this part also will most likely break more canon continuity rules than most can handle. If you've read this far and not complained then I applaud you. Sian Reed and the modified void card are mine.

Yelan was at times could be called, and rightfully so, a cold and strict
parent. The coldness came from the death of her husband. Underneath the cold
shell was a loving mother that wished that the elders had never trained her son
so hard. She knew that Lee was to only be a supporter to the real master of the
cards. She had tried to tell the elders this, but they would not listen. When
her son came back from Readington the first time, she could see a change in him.
Apparently he had fallen for the card mistress. On the outside she did not
care either way, but on the inside, she was elated to find out that Lee would
not grow cold and alone for the rest of his life. It was a duality with Yelan,
she wanted her son to not be like her, but at the same time she wanted someone
to suffer just like she did. So, everyday that she saw Lee spacing off and
thinking of Sakura, she would scold him and double his training. Then the day
came. He flat out told her that he was going back to Readington to bring her
here and she could judge for herself. He had said that no one not even her or
the clan's elders would be able to stop him, and he was right. It had taken him
a good two years, but he had brought her here. Now she understood, now she knew
why Lee was so happy to be around her. After the first day she had been here,
Yelan had gone back to her private chambers and for the first time in a long
time, had cried. Ever since then, she had been a different person. She now was
standing beside her son instead of punishing him for his feelings. Currently
her son was once again having it out with the elders like he has been doing for
the past couple of days. Two say that she is too gentle to be the wife of the
next leader of the clan, three or four had said that their child would make a
powerful leader some day, and the rest just hated her. They wanted to keep it
somewhat in the family by having Lee marry Meilin. This did not look like it
would ever happen because of the relationship that Meilin had found when she
went back to Readington for the third time to check up on Lee. Meilin would have some
questions to answer when she got back, or if she ever would come back. She was
only going to stay for a while but that changed when she met this Wulf person.
It was like the elders were an immovable object, and Lee was the irresistible
force and the two would push against each other until one would break. She then
heard footsteps approaching, Apparently the elders nor Lee budged today, since
it was Lee's aura that was approaching her. It seem to be an intense green,
that is if one could see magic, and it seem to want to lash out at the first
thing it saw.
"I take it that it did not go well with the elders?" Yelan asks coming
towards her son.
Lee seems to calm somewhat with the sound of his mother's voice. He takes
in a deep breath before speaking.
"I really hate them, mother. How in the world did my father deal with
them?"
"They did not disapprove the marriage of your father to me. I suspect that
if she were less gentle or if she were to fit any other criteria that those old
men could come up with, they still would not be happy."
"I'm surprised that one of them hasn't tried to force you into marriage."
"Never, I will not allow one of those power hungry men to become clan
leader through those means."
"Mother, tell my sisters to detach themselves from Sakura, I'll need to be
with her."
"Of course, my son," she says and heads off.

"What's going on, Kero?" Sakura asks hearing Madison's voice over the
phone.
"It's a rouge card that wasn't supposed to be part of the deck. It was
used to contain those that would challenge Clow Reed for the cards. He didn't
believe in killing, so he would use the Void card to imprison those that would
use the cards for evil. Apparently, all who were held within the card had died
and the card now has no instructions, so it's attacking random people."
"Is there something that you're not telling us?" Lee asks sitting up.
"NO! I've told you everything!" Kero says in a mental panic. He was
worried that Lee might have the secret that Clow told him and Yue about what
that card held, and the story behind its true creation. Lee gives the guardian a death glare. It was not that he
didn't trust what Kero said, it was what Kero didn't say that troubled him.
"Calm down Lee," Sakura says as she takes the phone. "Madison, we'll be
there as soon as possible. Has Meilin and Wulf come back from Switzerland?"
"No, not yet," Madison replies.
"Great, that'll mean that we'll be down by two and get attack by a force that
the stuffed animal didn't tell us about." Lee says trying to calm down.

"Here it is, the manhole where the last person fell to their doom." Josh
comments as the group surround the covering. It was night, about three days after the phone call.
"Yes, most definitely it has to be the void card." Kero says hovering
beside Sakura.
'I've felt cards before, but this is not the usual feeling I get when a
card is loose. I don't...' Lee thinks to himself, but before he could finish
the thought the manhole opens to reveal a swirling purple vortex.
"Is that it?!" Sakura yells trying to keep from being sucked in.
"Yes!" Kero answers. 'No, I feel it, but he couldn't have survived that
long.'
Sakura tried to use windy to counter the force of the void card so they
could escape, however, it overpowered the poor star card and all were sucked into the portal. They feel a falling sensation as the portal closes behind them. They continue
to fall through the empty darkness.
"What do we do Kero?" Sakura asks.
"It can't hold magical people on its own for very long. It'll have to let us go
eventually." Kero says, but he didn't believe it.
"Or send us flying into that opening." Josh says and the group sees that
the void card had opened another portal and the group fly through it and land on
a stone floor.
"Ok, stuffed animal, where the hell are we?" Lee says as the others get to
their feet.
"You all right, Josh?" Madison asks.
"Yes, and since my equipment is still functioning I'm detecting a heat
source in that direction, and if I didn't know any better, I would say that it
is human."
'No! It's him. How in the Hell did he survive!? We're in danger!' Kero
thinks, but before he could warn everyone an explosion of fire erupted and the
five scatter. When the flames clear, a man in blood red robes with magical runes on the seams stands in front of them. He wore a mask that covers his face except for his black eyes. On the front of his robes the five could see a flaming sun being eclipsed by a red moon.
"I new if I caused enough chaos that you two would come running." the man
says bringing his blood red staff to bare on the two former captors.
"Who are you?" Lee asks getting his sword out.
"That worthless flying pussy cat didn't tell you? I should have known that
my dear brother would not figure that I would play a roll in the history of the
cards."
"His name is...,Sian Reed, Clow's brother." Kero says in a despairing tone.
"Ah, what's the matter, didn't think that I would escape? Well, I did.
With the void card at my disposal now I will destroy the legacy that my brother
left." Sian says preparing himself for battle.
"If you want a fight," Lee says channeling his magic into the sword
making it glow green, "then, you've got one!" Lee says and charges. Sian
blocks the strike, but then has to block the sword card as well. The two former
captors back away and use lightning and the thunder card in tandem. This forces
Sian to reinforce his protections. The problem was that Josh had taken a
position behind the mad magician and fires a mini-missal at his back.
"Damn it! I thought you good guys fight one at a time!" Sian says
cursing the heroes.
"We've learned to attack in a group when it comes to villains like you!"
Kero, now changed into Keroberos, lunges at Sian knocking him down. Sian rolls
out of the way and throws fireballs at everyone. They either get out of the way
or shield themselves.
'I'm not at full power! I'll have to send them away. I didn't know much
about the non-magic users. I thought I wouldn't have any trouble, but I better
find out everything I can about the brains and brawns of this group. If the
others are as strong as this Josh is smart, then I've got a fight on my hands.'
Sian says and backs off from the attackers.
"I wish you could stay and play with me a bit longer, but I've decided to
let you live, for now. Void card, send them away!" Sian commands and the card
opens up a portal and the heroes once again fall through.

"We're back!!!!" Meilin yells as she comes into an empty apartment.
"Maybe they aren't back yet." Wulf says looking around to see if at least Wei was back.
"No, if I know my cousin he had to have come back to escape his mother and the elders." she says putting her hands on her hips.
"You know, we've got this place to ourselves..." Wulf starts to say, but
before anything can get started, their friends drop from a portal and land on
the couple.
"Thanks for dropping in on us! Now, kindly get off!" Meilin says and they
all untangle from each other and stand back up.
"You guys could have used the door," Wulf says trying to lighten the mood.
"We've got trouble. Apparent..." Lee says, but Kero interrupts him.
"I'll tell' em kid." Kero says in a somber voice.
"Shouldn't we get Yue?" Sakura asks as the group sit themselves down.
"I'll inform him myself. Now, down to business. After he had created the last card, Clow Reed for some reason created something called the nothing card. This card counters the magic of the cards. It became apparent to me and Yue why he created it when Sian, Clow's dark brother, attacked. He tried to take the cards from Clow and nearly succeeded, if it hadn't been for that nothing card. It was able to counter Sian's magic, but he used a spell to destroy the spirit of the card. Clow was able to stop Sian's spell, but he had to change the nature of the card. Now, instead of being a countering force, the nothing card leads to a realm of nothingness. This meant that Clow could seal away his brother forever rather than killing him. The newly formed void card sucked Sian up and he was sealed in the card never to have returned again. However, the card was never integrated into the deck. So, when the Clow cards became star cards, the void lost all connections to Clow. This probably allowed Sian to take the card for himself. Now, he's the most dangerous threat to the cards." Kero explains looking glum.
"What I can't understand is why now?" Lee asks confused about why Sian
chose now to attack. "He could have crushed us right after you changed the light and dark cards, Sakura."
"The answer is simple, my cute little descendent." a new voice says and
they all turn to see Eli Moon.
"Moon! What the hell are you doing here and how the hell did you get here?" Lee asks getting up and glaring
at the half reincarnate of Clow Reed.
"I sensed Sian's magic all the way from England, so I used Lee's new trick to get here. He has the void card in his control so there's only one thing he
plans to do with it. He'll want to seal Sakura, both you Yue and Kero, and Lee
and destroy the card. Once that occurs the four of you will die and the other
cards will be destroyed as well. The problem is with the destruction of that
much magic, it could wipe out this entire world. The reason that he didn't do it when I did my last test was because he didn't want to face me so soon after he had gotten out of the void card. Even now his powers haven't returned to him fully." Eli calmly explains.
"You say that as if you are giving a weather forecast! Meilin says losing her temper with him.
"He is not going to do that. The next time you encounter him, I will be with you. I will fight him to drain his powers. Once that is done, Sakura, you'll have to change the card into a star card. This will need Lee's power as
well. Once you have the card under your control Sakura, seal Sian up in it again." Eli said smirking at Lee.
"You did that once before, why should it work again since he'll escape again once Sakura passes on to the next life and the next one in line becomes
the master of the cards?" Kero asks.
"I say we send him to the next life." Meilin says ready for a fight.
"No! I will not have his blood on my hands." Eli says losing his composure.
"Apparently, the next one might have to deal with Sian when time comes to change the void card." Kero says wishing that his former master had the guts to finish off his brother.
"I'll get myself a place to stay here while my brother is still running loose. So Madison, I see that you've certainly matured into a lovely woman." Eli says turning towards Madison.
'He's in for a surprise when he finds out that she's seeing Josh.' Lee sends to Sakura through their link.
"As charming as you are, I'm seeing someone." Madison responds.
"Who has the privilege to be dating you? Eli asks smoothly.
"That would be Josh," she says and takes Josh's hand. no one knew it but Josh was ready to kill Eli for trying to sweep Madison off her feet. One could not blame him for it. Eli was trying to charm her away from him. Eli, on the
other hand, was seeing green as well.
"Are we jealous my cute little ancestor?" Lee quietly asks. Eli scowls
hearing the reverse of what he calls Lee all the time.

It was 4 hours later. Eli had stayed to catch up with Madison and Sakura.
It had relieved Josh when Eli left. Now the super genius was sitting alone on
the balcony while the three girls talk and Wulf had went to get some take-out.
He looks up to see that Lee had joined him.
"You're worried that Moon will take her away from you, aren't you?" Lee
asks coming beside his friend.
"I've been in my first meaningful relationship with my first girl for over
one and a half years. Guys like me don't usually get a girl, especially like
Madison. I'll admit that my dad was lucky when he met mom and that luck must have been
passed down to his son. I've been having sex with her for almost the entire
time that we've been together. I don't think I'd be able to find another
even remotely close to her. I know that I shouldn't be jealous, but I wish I
could knock the smug smile off his face."
"You are doing a good job of not losing it in front of her. I on the other
hand wanna knock his block off for a different reason. His antics, while
necessary to change the cards, were anywhere from childish to dangerous. It was
those dangerous ones in which I hold a grudge against him. You've got Madison,
she'll never be swept off her feet by Moon."
"I got to remind myself that he's only here to help us against Sian, not to
take Madison away from me. If I can do that, I should be able to concentrate on
defeating this last magician."
The two boys then hear the glass door open.
"Hey you two, soup's on," Madison says and Lee gets up and heads in.
"Talk to him, he's feeling a little threatened and out classed by Eli."
Lee whispers to Madison and she nods as Lee walks in. Madison sits beside her boyfriend and leans herself on his right side. He puts an arm around her
and draws her closer to him.
"Look at me," Madison says in a quiet but commanding voice, and Josh complies
to her request. "I know that you think Eli is moving in on me and I must admit
that he is trying his damnedest to charm me away from you. Eli will just have
to understand that his loss is your gain." she says as she kisses him using
her tongue.
"Well, when you put it that way, I won't have to worry about losing you."
he says pulling her in for another kiss.

'It's taken me another week to regain my full strength. I must've been
drained from being in that damn card for so long. I now know how many I'm up
against. Only eight, including my half reincarnated brother, can fight. The
ninth member of this small group seems to record everything that happens.
Well, she will get her greatest and last tape of her miserable existence. Since
most of the magical incidents have happened in this park, it would be ironic
that it would all come to an end tonight at the same park.' Sian, who was now
at King Penguin Park, thinks to himself as he prepares himself to raise his
magical energies to lure them out.
"You seem to be in the mood to fight." a voice says from behind and Sian
turns around to see that it was Eli.
"Had to make sure that the cards were attach to their new master's powers, didn't you my dear brother?" Sian asks mockingly and he summons his staff.
"I am going to help put you back into the void once this fight is over."
Eli says and summons his own staff.
"You'll have to get the card off of my person and I don't think you can do
that." he says and hurls several blue fire balls at Eli.
"You will never change will you? You've always been a firebug." Eli
says and the half reincarnate freezes Sian's feet to the ground.
"You think I will fall for this? Those others are going to attack the
moment you think that I'm cooled down enough, but your little ice won't work."
he says and melts the ice out from his feet before the others had a chance to
attack.
Wulf leads the charge with Meilin right behind him. Meanwhile Sakura had
targeted the shot card onto Sian and Josh was blasting him with his freeze ray from
the air. Josh was not the only one leading an air strike. Yue uses his crystal
shards and Keroberos uses his fireballs on the mad brother of Clow. Sian
either had to teleport or shield himself from the attack.
'Damn, I'll have to seal every magical user except for my brother in the
void card. I don't like the fact that the descendent hasn't attacked yet.
Well, time to thin out the ranks.' "Void card, seal up the mistress of the
cards, the two guardians, and her lover!" Sian commands and the card opens up
and starts to suck them in. Eli tries to keep the portal from getting its
intended targets but it was a futile attempt. The five were sucked in and the
card went back to card form.
"Too bad, my dear brother, I was a little too fast for you wasn't I?" he
says and sends another attack Eli's way.
"This is ridiculous. With the way that this plan of attack is going we'll
all end up in the void card. We need to destroy his staff. Without that he
can't use magic. Meilin, I'll get behind Sian and grab him. once I have a hold
of him you wrench away his staff." Wulf says about to circle Sian. The
remaining fighters were now angered for what Sian did to their friends. Then a
blood curdling scream could be heard. Eli had been hurt with a particularly nasty
spell. All of the others came to check on him.
"He's...,learn...,some...,nastier...,tricks....I...,think..,.that this one...is slowly...,killing...,me." Eli gasps as the others look in sympathy and
helplessness. "Madison...,I do love you...,but apparently...,I'm paying for being so slow....Josh...take care of her..." he gasps out for the last time and he
closes his eyes.
"I will." Josh says quietly.
"Finally, he shuts up. He was like a cockroach, hard to kill.Now, will you
continue the fight, or would you rather have your funeral along with him?" Sian
says pulling out the Void card and was about to touch it with his staff to
destroy it, but the card vibrates and falls to the ground violently. Sian sees
the card glow from the fiery red it was to pink and back again.
"No! They can't do that! They can't change the card from inside while I'm its master! That's impossible! I'll kill them all with my bare hands! I'll make them wish that
their grandparents were never born!" Sian rants, but he didn't notice Wulf get behind him and grab him around the waist. The shock of the attack forces him to
drop his staff which Meilin promptly picks up and runs back over to where Josh
and Madison were protecting the body. Then the red faded from the card
completely and it stayed pink. It was now a star card and seemingly spewed out
the unwilling occupants. Kero was back in his false form and Yue was
unconscious. Lee and Sakura looked like they had ran a marathon and wouldn't be
able to fight. Meilin throws Sian's staff towards Wulf who, with all his might,
breaks the thing in half.
"No! I'll make you all pay!" he shrieks out. He knew that without his
staff he couldn't defeat them. He had to run to fight another day.
Lee and Sakura were now back on their feet and they both were going to
charge up the freeze card.
"Freeze, incase Sian in a tomb of ice...Freeze card!" Sakura shouts and
slams the staff down upon the card with Lee's help. Getting the idea Josh uses
his freeze ray to help in the endeavor. With the combined ice attacks the evil
brother was frozen solid. With her last ounce of strength Sakura uses void to
trap the block of ice bringing an end to any future attacks.

One month, it had been one month since Yelan's son and his future wife had
left to stop the Void card. She hoped that her son would return soon for she
was now bed ridden with a fever. Another problem was that the head elder was
trying to make her sign what he called important paperwork for the clan.
"Can't this wait until I'm cured of this fever?" Yelan asks in a soft
voice.
"I apologize, but it is very..." he starts to say when he hears foot
steps running towards the room. He thought it to be Wei, but the door flung
itself open to reveal Lee.
"Mother, are you all right?" Lee asks coming to her bedside.
"I'll be fine, but this "gentlemen" says that the paperwork in his hand is
important. I don't think I can read it so you look at it." Yelan says.
"That won't be necessary, I'll wait until you get better." the elder says
backing towards the door. Lee snatches the papers that he was holding and read it.
A look of anger comes across his face.
"I knew it! The moment I was gone for any amount of time that you'd try
something like this. You are not marrying my mother to become the head of this
clan."
"You were to Marry Meilin. We can't allow such impure blood such as hers
to be apart of this family. We made a mistake by sending you to get the cards
back. We should have found an assassin to do away with the girl. You didn't
have to have a child with Meilin, just marry her and keep the purity of this
family."
"I was always told to have respect for my elders, but you sicken me. You
may think that Sakura is wrong for me, but your opinion no longer counts or
matters. I'll marry her without your permission whether you like it or not. In
fact I hope our marriage sickens you to the point that you have to leave this
world in favor for another."
"You wouldn't dare. We never had this much trouble with your father!"
"Don't you ever speak of such an honorable man like my father out of your
vile mouth." Lee spits out with venom in his voice.
"Your father accepted his arranged marriage to your mother so why can't
you?"
"It didn't matter that it was arranged or not because they loved each other
even before they were told. One...no two marriages will happen, mine and
Meilin's."
"You tell' em, Lee!" Meilin shouts out. Apparently the others were
standing at the open door listening.
The elder lowers his head in defeat. Apparently Lee was going to get his
way.

Epilogue

Three separate weddings did happen. The six would have long lives with
many children. The cards would be passed down through the generations without Sian
Reed coming back. He would forever be frozen in the Void card.
